@Calgon , You may need to show your GLSL code a tad more to get better help
eg: are you using just 'texture' 'instead of 'texture2D' in da .fsh code syntax etc. ?

i probably shuffled thru the manual 9 days ago.

Shuffling through the User Manual can be indeed exhausting and in specific if you are just here
to see the Girls Stripping.

From my own experience on my first encounter with the iStripper App, i just wanted to
see Candy Alexa getting Nude in her stunning Stockings. 😈 😊

I was indeed later paying attention to the User Manual, but i only grabbed those parts for me
which were looking really important.

If you want a recommendation from me then here are some:

Don't get stuck too long on the User Manual, but i'm not saying it wouldn't be helpful.

Explore the iStripper Client on your own because it's a really good Point and Click experience,
or maybe i should say what you click is what you get, more or less.

Take a closer look on this Section on the Forum, there are some really valuable information there.

Even more important go to the Settings Page (Cogwheel in the upper right corner)
and activate "Advanced Settings" and leave them activated.

Pay Attention to all the Settings including their descriptions, to enjoy the full
experience of a single Show, because the default Settings are set to "Safe for Work".

This was what i was doing to learn more about the Software and all it's functions.

So TheEmu I don't know how sensitive you are but in one screen it says I am free to wonder but I was having a similar problem as others but obviously had read some of the user manual and found the pick up and place effect and was passing the info along but there is quite abit of reading in the different areas and couldn't quite remember where I picked up the info from. If I have been a member for 10 days and you kicking me out of the forum for being a free member just a day ago i probably shuffled thru the manual 9 days ago. So could you or a colleuge E-mail me and let me know if I "should stay or go now" As far as I know IStripper is a free site. And thanks for reminding me where I got the info from. The users manual of course didn't feel like deep diving yet. I hope this note is legal----I have the wierest dilema in the fact that whenever I try to help others the "evil that men do" comes a calling. My garage was falling over into the neigbors yard where there kids have swings and what-not so I was getting worried of finding out my lack of caring about the matter and created a change in ie. something like your perception of things changing anyways everything is back in place but the garage could have held out longer but I could have that so now I have to deal with contractors thru lawyers because they just couldn't stick to the script. The most important factor (for totem) is money. If this were something totem wanted to do, then it is about the money.

other factors might include:

Models have very few hours to do the shows, so if they already know the other model, then it is easier to get into the show.

Outfits and make up take time. If the model is dressed up with a fancy cosplay outfit and makeup, they need extra time for set up and clean up. This makes for a longer day. I am guessing that a swimsuit takes less time to prepare, but that is a guess on my part.

I'm sure there are other things that just add to the "problem" of the shows. The logistics of all of this might be something which makes the money a part of the problem, but not the only one.

Why does this no longer happen and has not happened for many years?

Sometime after it stopped happening @Rex (The Totem CEO) posted to say that duo cards did not sell well enough to justify the extra cost of producing them.

What can be done to make it happen again, if anything?

The customers as a whole enthusiastically buy any duo card that is produced so that they sell significantly better than solo cards and it becomes worthwhile for Totem to produce them. (I would not be one of them). That they did not previously do so speaks volumes,

By the way, I own all twenty cards of all these girls.
Lots of other girls were like this. I own all ten cards of each of twenty-four others like this. (lots of cards)

My questions:

How was this possible back then and not now or since the e and f cards began?
What made it possible for each girl to do a solo and three duos?
Why does this no longer happen and has not happened for many years?
What can be done to make it happen again, if anything?

easy fix just need that clue....

That "clue" is described in the app's built in tutorials and in the user manial - both of which are available via the "Help" button in the top right corner of the window.

Yep, here for the same reason and just to be able cruise this place; I b newbe and saw somewhere and actually acheived it myself (though can't repeat). You are abel to hmm can't use grab, pick-up; ok menuver them beaut's somehow "clicking, I suppose" they go off the ground and are then able to place them wherever you please, easy fix just need that clue....

@TheEmu - thanks, that's a shame that it's not possible to have the shader take coords from the bounding box.

I have been able to convert it so that it runs but I ended up with the my ClipSprite as the texture of the walls and I've been unable to find a way to get it to use the proper textures. Is this something else that won't work on this platform ? Is there an example of a shader using a couple of textures that I could learn from ?

Regarding the "bounding box" that @EverthangForever refers to in his previous post.

By default this is the smallest rectangular area (with sides parallel to X and Y) that is large enough to contain the non-transparent areas of the current frame of the clip. it minimises the amount of work that has to be done to render the frame. It changes size and position as the model moves. In the scene file you can use a Border: clause within a Clip to increase this by a fixed amount in all directions, e.g.

This is normally used to enable a shader to render into a larger area than the bounding box - e.g. to allow a blur to blur into the immediately surrounding area. Note, however, that this does not stop it changing size as the model moves.

Also note that the pixel coordinates seen by the shader are always relative to the full screen-sized clip's origin - they are not relative to the bounding box. This means that if you use a shader to add a background to a clip it does not move with the model, What you will see is a moving window into a larger unmoving image.

You can see this in my Naughty Fairies scenes where the Fairy Magic sparkles do not move with the fairies (and indeed get truncated by the edges of their bounding boxes) though I try my best to disguise this.

As for running sprites within the clipspite node, you can only run 'pure' shaders
within the model bounding box in clipsprite node under da shader: parameter.
I mean 'pure' as in ..shaders having their own integrated graphics only, not any externally
rendered textures, as you might want in a slideshow of an open directory full of graphics.

Hi @EverthangForver , thanks for the reply. It's been interesting tinkering around with them. I saw in a QA scene by @WyldAnimal that he is able to identify the models screen position to draw a rectangle around the model clip. I wanted to replace this with an image so that the image follows the models position in the same way that the rectangle does. Is this possible ?

Hi @Calgon, great question..
As far as I know, we cannot do a lot of things on our OpenGL
platform that the WebGL (Shadertoy) platform does

• We are limited to using one mounting texture to render a shader onto
• We cannot process Cube textures
• We cannot display anything that differs from a final simple gl_Fragcolor entry
• So far I have not been able to use framebuffers to simultaneously run

the same shader over different textures using texture2D syntax

• additional to all this, if it was possible to run the extra channels needed..the amount

of processing required on our OpenGL platform would cause so much lag and stuttering
of model movement as to render it unusable.

@TheEmu may be able to demonstrate examples which show otherwise.

The problem seems to be that a shader's render screen position gets fixed
from the get go, so unlike a sprite that you can move or make transparent
by animation clauses in the scene (.scn) coding, any rendering that the
shader does is limited to the gl_FragCoord position & iTime fixed settings
initially set up.

@TheEmu thanks, that will be interesting to play around with.

I'd still like to know how to convert shaders that use the extra buffers - do you know any examples that have been done ?

You do not need to use any shaders to create a slideshow, you can do it by modulating the opacities of any number of Sprites each having a separate texture as its source. For examples of this see

By varying the speed of the transitions you can have either rapid flicks between the images or can simulate cross fading between them and can even use the technique to provide the equivalent of simple gif animations.

You can also animate the positions of a stack of Sprites to produce sliding transitions.

Or you can animate the sizes of a set of sprites.

And yu can combine these effects in any way that you want - e.g. a spinning, expanding fade.

If you use a 3D camera you can make an image "tumble" into or out of view.

I've been dabbling with some shader conversions. I wondered if you'd seen this one:

The writer has built comments around the code to make it b** awkward to follow what they have done but it uses all 4 available buffers with 4 textures in each - so allowing a slideshow of 16 different backgrounds.

I wondered if you could convert it to iStripper or give some pointers on how to call in the textures and the 4 buffers and common tabs. I've only been able to work with the simpler shaders so far that only use the image tab.
