I know why users who bought the shows to watch them on their mobile devices are/can be upset. I don't use mobile version of the app, so personally I don't care. Anyway, I think this solution has its pros and cons.

Nah its more like the mobile service is a separate subscription, and what you own on the desktop has no bearing on what can be accessed on mobile anymore.

So... when you buy a show on the desktop version, you also buy it for the mobile version, but you can only use the mobile version by paying another membership. It'll be without me then.

@wrightsayswow It is is correct. If you would like to use our mobile version you will have to subscribe to our new membership. However, you will still have access to all your purchased shows on our Desktop and Mac versions

I just tried to run a show, but it only plays the free bit, the rest it goes to a screen asking for payment.
I have already paid for them, and on the old mobile version they ran fine.
I'm annoyed if this is correct and further payments are required.
Will not be using the mobile app in this case, not that I did much anyway. Sorry.

There is a reason i have been ***** too using the mobile app/site. So yes with my circumstances they are lost too me.

Ive not purchased a single card that was not a mobile card (since returning after a multi year break, check my purchase history its true), nor do i have or can have the desktop app installed. Ive already come to terms with loss of access too the majority of my collection not being on mobile, and now what i can access is being held as ransom for a sub fee.

Its akin too buying cloths too be told, oh yeah if you wanna wear them again that will 12 bucks a month. I'm sure it makes some kind of sense for those using the desktop app, and only having mobile as a side thing.

Its not about money, i obviously can afford it, its about freedom of access.

In case you are not aware, the cards purchased on the old mobile site are not lost.
All of the cards that have been purchased are still available on the Desktop app.

In the filter Quality, choose Crystal Clear + and you will see only the cards available in 4k.

I am not impressed with thios new mobile system. Too be frank, as someone who has spend god knows how much money on shows specifically too view on mobile, all that money is now going to be locked behind a monthly paywall... It used to be but the card have access too the show indefinitely... just like the desktop program.

This is a betrayal of trust, i am quite happy to keep paying for the cards as they release, But locking them behind a paywall, every single card ive already paid for is unfair and exhortative.

That explains the advantage of selling NFT cards - but not why Totem have chosen that they have to be paid for via Dolz tokens instead of credits.

But, The difference is barely noticable as both are top tier cards and I was looking for thoughts from someone who has both the cards in their deck. I don't know the answer to that question either, but it is the more important of the two if you want to understand why it is being done.

Buy DOZL tokens, buy card which has a random chance rareity.

The more rare the more you can sell it for(main point of nft's is that you can sell them), then the buyer can sell it on for even more DOLZ and on and on and on. Until there is a crash and you lose all the value. :/

Because the cards are NFT's ownership needs to be tracked with a blockchain, DOLZ are linked to eth for the transaction. So a record of any sale will become part of the blockchain and the owner can be validated.

AFIK DOLZ isnt going to be specfic to this progran like the credits are they can be used elsewhere, vrparadise for one. I believe they are attempting to get the entire porn industry to use DOLZ tokens, as yet i havent seen any other companies planning to or have adopted them though.

Pre covid I was at a VCT (Venture Capital Trust) shareholders meeting.

So anyone attempting to buy cryto in the UK could easily at a minimum find their bank account and cards blocked.

Im extatic that a big group like FTX is gone because it shows how little to no safe-guards are / were in place for the dummies that buy into crypto. Hopefully the next massive crash opens totems eyes to the catastrophic mistake they are going to make.

Included ARSE (anti ring sharpen effect) which fixes the blurring caused by GL_LINEAR when the girls are scaled by standing/sittingheight without causeing artifacts like "color.rgb+fwidth(colour.rgb)" which cause bright lines (ringing artifacts) between eg: a dark skirt and skin. It does increase aliasing though.

After the mess last week with FTX, I would not be too surprised if this whole project was delayed again. Perhaps even cancelled. The shows made so far could then simply be released as regular cards. Not sure the idea of trading cards between users really had much going for it either.

And as @peterbanker mentioned, many of us might not be able to do this even if we wanted.

Cryptocurrency is a scam.
You can’t use it in the real world. There is always a 3rd party between the seller and buyer.
People only have or want it so that later same other idiot will buy it from them for more money. In the end someone will end up losing real money for useless coins if nobody is willing to buy the Crypto Coins.

NFTs are a scam as it is a digital product that has no reason to be limited at a set amount.

I paid 50 euro for 500 credits and 1 iStripper cards is 11 credits for me. So 1 iStripper cards cost 1.10 euro. Discord server has 16516 members and there are 18395 members on the app forum. Dolz webside mention 300.000 iStripper collectors.

I can safely say that all cards sold at least 5000 time at 1.10 euro is total 5.500 euro. If the NFTs is limit to 500 then they need it to sell it for at least 11 euro. But went totem only release 1 NFTs per week then it needs to be 77 euro per NFTs card as 5.500 euro times 7 days is 38.500 euro. 5000 card is a low but safe estimated. And I don’t know really know how many NFTs card Totem will sell so it is a guess.

In my eyes this is not good for us the user/customer and for Totem. Ones the 500 are sold then that’s it. They can’t ever get more money for the NFTs cards. The normal iStripper cards will continue bring in money overtime and can be use for the games.

Last thing is that NFTs card are not a different product as it use the same resource as the iStripper cards.

P.S. I will not and can't do the NFTs. It probely will be to expensive for me and i don't like it to scan/take a photo of my ID to submit as proof.

That is correct, with smoothstep you don't need any explicit logic for this sort of thing. You might want to tweak the limits, either or both of them, depending on exactly what you want to see but for this particular usage the values you have would seem to be sensible.

If, however, you wanted the transition to be a soft one centred at a value of 0.5 for col.r you would want something like

col.a = smoothstep(0.49, 0.51, col.r);

As for atom, it doesnt have the functionality by default, you have to point it to "glslangValidator.exe" for it to compile and check for errors as you type. I'm sure yopu can remove the "garish" colours if you don't like them. It's also nice having the project folder browser tab, i don't remember n++ doing that, i always had to file/open/browse.

That is not equivalent to the code that @Calgon was asking about which tested col.r not col.a. He may well have what intended to test col.a but even then the code would not be equivalent as the original threshold was not 0.0.

this is assuming that col.a starts out at 0.0 which sometimes doesnt (weirdly) unless you define it with vec4 col = vec4(0.0). As an aside do you have any idea why it does that (sometimes is not zero if you define as vec4 col;)?

Ahh - I see that it has a better syntax checker than I have been use to seeing in the editors.

I know I installed and tried atom a good few years ago and it seemed to be a good editor, but at that time I didn't see any strong reason to switch to it.

Obviously if it compiles and runs but looks weird its not going to help you with those type of errors, nor will the logfile though.

I normally have very little trouble in locating the error using the line number in the log even though it does not exactly match the line number in the editor. However, the discrepancy seems to depend on the GSL compiler being used, on my machine by default the discrepancy is usually only a line or two, but is more if I switch from the Intel to the Nvidia compiler.

On those few occassions when there is a problem I resort to introducing a deliberate error (usually just silly word, like bugger, on a line by itself) close to the line identified in the log as this then gives me the correction term to use for the line numbers - not elegant but a useful technique to have when it is needed.
