Yes, I've kept track, loosley anyways. I do the same thing and wait for them, because it's just more cost effective. Over the years it's been pretty consistent. .
It's usually every few months. More than likley around some special holiday or special event. i.e. Black Friday, St. Patty's day, X-mas etc. ✌💚😎

I don't think it will be acceptable for the company, because players could have too much impact on what they can and cannot win. Example: keep one single card in your wishlist and remove the rest. If you win one free card from your wishlist, you can be 100% certain of what it will be, because you have only one card to draw from. Then look for another single card that you want and add that one to your wishlist. Again, if you win, you know what it will be. Do this every time and every single time you will know what to expect. This will not be random anymore.
After some more thoughts, I think it could be very similar to Gift Cards. If you win a Gift Card, you can decide which card from your wishlist you want to pick up. So, more Gift Cards instead of Free Cards could give the same effect.

I agree with this statement. It comes back to us spending money.

Totem could have "cards" won as a (higher odds) category as "wishlist cards" won as a (lower odds) category. The odds might be low, but if it encourages us to play the "games of chance" then totem would continue to make money. Since it might encourage others to win from the wishlist, it might make it worth the added prize.

Yje differences arise from different, and changing, exchange rates as well as whether or not VAT (or other tax) has to be applied, In Europe the price includes VAT, in the US there is no VAT and I understand the nearest US equivalent, purchase tax, is not charged on "out of state" purchases.

The need to pay VAT in Europe means that Totem receive a smaller fraction of what you pay than they do for purchases made by US customers. Some time ago this meant that although at first sight US customers paid less per credit than European customers did Totem would receive more from them per credit than they did from European customers - but since then the exchange rates have changed radically so this reversal may no longer occur.

The differences are due to the exchange rate of each currency. For example, I pay in American money, but my Canadian money is devalued against this currency and against the Euro.

I have not bought credits in many months. I still have many thousands of credits.

For my part, for the same 600 credits, that is 500+20%, it cost me $67.05 in Canadian dollars at the beginning of August.

This shows that credits do not have the same cost for everyone, depending on the country where you live.

Had a quick look in my records and it seems I bought 600 credits, so the 500+20% in:
August, June, March, and Feb. But last time getting the 1320 credits was end of last December.
And of course for us Brits the £ exchange rate against $ and Euros is worse than it's been in a long time.
In Feb just before some idiot rolled his tanks into Ukraine £39 bought 600, but last purchase in August it cost £43.

I did not mention any badge - I referred to the laurels that would be put around your avatar with a different icon in the centre of the laurels depending upon which award you were receiving.

Its not a ever month thing. It use to be twice a year but now I would say every 3-4 months.

Seriously, I wish the 'Daily Routine' achievement badge would be added. I have done this (with at least five consecutive cards) many times, once with twenty-two (22) consecutive cards from January to February this year, others more recently.
Please add it.

What I find surprising is that anyone would want to be able to get a badge denoting that they have done some well defined specific thing by doing something different. That would be like being able to win the medal for winning a 100 meter race by putting the shot instead.

If nothing else it awards "bragging rights". Judging by their reaction to being placed 20th or so in the list rather than at its top (a distiction which is meaningless) some members in the past have regarded this as important (to them) in some way that eludes me. That you and I do not value this is irrelevant as long as some members do value it.

From Totem's point of view it probably acts as a spur to some members to try for a full collection.

I totally agree with the idea of the "Most Valuable Customer" perception for these threads. Totem is rewarding the best members (three in each of two categories) with a little something around the avatar. This will be seen by everyone for one month.

This is similar to the achievement badges one earns for playing games, buying cards, getting free stuff, etc. The biggest difference is that no one sees others' badges unless one cares to voluntarily share that information.

However, the list of members with the largest collections seems moot as it gets nothing that I see.

What's the point??? It's an award from TOTEM that you spent the most money with THEM for the month! I mean, duh, OF COURSE they appreciate that! It's the same as a Most Valuable Customer award and that is actually pretty widespread.

Having said that, 2774 shows in a single month???? ALL the cards from 857 different girls in a single month????? That is... impressive. That is DEDICATION!

In the defence of free cards, sometimes it introduced me to a model I didn't know. Sometimes it is a happy thing, but there are fewer models (older cards) who I haven't see by now.

It was fun to talk about (talk about can also be translated as children fighting...) who has the best card collection. (one day, a friend brought his football cards.... what a loser!)

I really wish the company had a game where someone could win free credits or a SEC or a joker, but not win any free cards. I no longer pay because there are no older cards I want, except maybe some 'c' cards, and there is one girl I will never have in my collection and all of her card images (in the store) are replaced with something else.
I am okay with also losing, not saying I should only win. I just do not want to win many cards.
Remove the 'win free card' from one game and I would be happy to play.
