Tried that several times, no success. I'm havingthis same issue, the previews keep coming and I don't want any of them and my computer is running out of space. Here is the link for the Alpha release. It is an early release of some of the changes the dev team is making to the software. Normally I wouldn't recomend an alpha or Beta release to a new user but this one is pretty stable. I'm sorry you had a bad first experence with the software we all know and love here. With Wildanimal contactly the Dev team on your behalf I hope they come to some relolution that you are happy with. I have used Totem Virtualgirl for quite some time and am quite happy with it. I hope you stick around and find the product as enjoyable as the rest of us do.

As @Wyldanimal says, in all upgraded cards there is a HUGE improvement in the quality of clips on all resolutions, even on 720p!

How it was made:
The recording of the side by Side clips.
renamed Card folder a0745 to a0745-O-720p
downloaded update.
start recording
played the standing demo clip from the update - pause recording
***** the Clip to the right
start recording
renamed the folders so now the Orig Folder is a0745
played the demo clip, now offset to the right
Save recording
edit recording, split video into Updated, and Orig play back
Crop Orig clip, and slide it to the right
Cut away un-need portions.
try to get the frames in Sync.
clip away the un-needed start and ends of the clips
Save the edited Side by Side video

So the new tina card has some "swing" clips, but there's no tag? Are there any other xxx cards that swings in them then?

@Donatien : can you see iStripper in the task manager (right click on the task bar the click on task manager) ?
The binary is installed in c:\users\username\appdata\local\vghd\bin (on my Win10 version).

Another amazing week in the iStripper world, with 7 great cards.
The remastering collection of the week is great too, thank you very much to the team for the effort ❤️

Thanks! The filters worked fine and I've updated the remastered cards. I've also updated all my crystal sets to 3K as there wasn't much of a performance hit.

Thanks for the search string. Strangely, Candy Land and Hot Zone came up flagged as updated and on mouseover an update icon appeared - I'd already updated the sets to 1080p, so I'm not sure what I've just updated!

Remaster cards are remastered in all 3 resolutions, So Yes, I'd say there is an upgrade gained in all 3 resolutions.
Higher Bit rate, better color corrections.

To download in the same resolution, you first need to delete the card, then re-download it.

AFAICS the download is ignored if you do not select the 3K option.

Having said that with som earlier upgrades if you didn't change the resololution then a general upgrade some times appears a bit later.. With the current batch of upgrades I am not sure as I only have a 1080p monitor and therefore have not updated to 3K.

I remember in the back stage that Cara Mell was dancing around a pole with the red lingerie that is in her next xxx scene. Me thinks that card will be a hybrid...so maybe they mixed and matched hybrid with old format. I wish totem would be open about this but I bet they will make more money if they are quiet, and that will be their angle.

I didn't know the tag went away after the first click. There is another way to find updatable cards. You can do this using filters. For example to find 1080p cards in your collection that can be upgraded to 3K:

1) Set all filters to all
2) In selected resolutions, select only 1080p
3) In quality, select only Crystal Clear

You can also find 720p cards that are available in standard quality with the same method.

PS. Thank you for asking. I just discovered that I have 3 cards that are now available in 3K and I have never upgraded them

PPS. As long as you have the disk space and your processor can handle them there is no reason not to download 3K versions of your cards. However, check how much processing power you are using before you switch.

Generally speaking you don't want to download cards in a size larger than your display. However, if you have a 1920 X 1080 display and you want to play cards at a scale larger than about 70% a 3K card will look a little better than a 1080p card because 1080p cards must be scaled up when played larger than 70% on a 1080p display.

@Dorsai6 Thanks for that - I shied off 3K as I have a 1080p display, but at 100% the 3K cards do look a tad better!

Is there a list of cards updated? The filter for updates works like the filter for new - click on the card and the tag is removed. A feature I only noticed shortly after that knowledge would have been useful 😉

PS: It takes up almost 3 times the HDD space to do this.
There is No advantage to doing this, as you can always in a mater of less then **20 minutes, re-download any card you have
in a different resolution.

I do this, because I test the cards.
Sometimes there is a difference from one resolution to the other, so It's important to check each one.

but for a regular User, There is no need to keep more than One resolution at a time.

a 3K card should take less than 20 minutes with an average Internet connection of 5mbps

REX , Like Richie94, whenever I have tried to upgrade to the latest version . istripper has disappeared, amnd whenever I try to reactivate it a window appears saying " Set up has detected that istripper is still running. pPlease close all instances of it now, then click OK to continue, or Cancel to exit."
1) I was totally unable to find iStripper anywhere on the computer at this time and therefore was unable to either proceed with updating nor accessing my existing version; that is until I rebootted the computer and reinstalled my existing verion.
2) Yes my collection is held on a 15TB external drive.

Having been throught this rigmariole 3 times, I have ababndoned trying to updat my version until I am assured that it will proceed smoothly.

I will often download in all 3 resolutions.
1st in 720p
after it is finished, ( the GUI is left open )
I open the Models folders, find the cards Folder example e0001
then add -720p to the end of it. the card folder becomes e0001-720p
I then download the same card again, by switching the resolution drop down.

When it's done, I again rename the folder to e0001-1080p
and last if it has it, I download the 3K files.


So Now I have three sets of folders for the same card.
e0001-720p
e0001-1080p
e0001 ( this is the 3K version and the current one the GUI will play)


I can then Test the card in all of it's resolutions.
e0001 is of course what the folder name has to be to play it.

so If I want to play the 720p version, I can quickly just alter the folder names a bit.

so I first rename e0001 to e0001-3K
and then rename e0001-720p to e0001

And that is all I have to do.. it takes a few brief seconds.
The GUI will know from the files, what resolution they are, with out my Need to rebuild or re download anything.

After I am done with all my testing,
I move the Other two folders to a Back up HDD.
So that on my Main Drive I keep only the best resolution for my Screen and System.
At Home that is the 1080p version

At the Office that is the 3K version.

The External HDD I use to hold the copies, I can take with me to update Home or Office as needed.
Just copy the Folder I want, and Name it correctly.

You can Also do the Same with the Origional FIles, and the Re-mastered Files.

Just rename the Cards Folder, Befor you Update it..
example, to Keep the Origional Format of a remastered card. Maybe rename it to this??

e0001-O-720p

After you update it to the remastered version you will have two foldes.

e0001
e0001-O-720p


It's all about Managing the folder names, Before you Download, or Update the files.

Given you display size 720p cards will probably work fine. If you like to use a scale of more than 60%, you might experiment with a few 1080p versions of some cards you own to see if they look any better.
