Nobody is ***** anybody to do anything. You are given a choice to either accept the terms of the offer or to ignore it. This may mean that you choose not to attempt to get a card that under other circumstances you would buy, but it is it entirely your choice. It may be a hard choice to make, but that will be a major reason why there it is a special offer in the first place. Many such offers by any comercial concern are attempts to tempt you into buying things that you would otherwise not buy, Totem are no different from your local supermarket or bookstore in this respect.

Thanks every forum I looked in seem like the wrong one. Not gonna play a game winning cards i don't want in th hope of getting one i do want. I ahve 2225 cards. I purchase every card I want when it comes out. I check the site every day to see what's new. ***** people to buy cards they won't even download to get a single card seems extremely unfair. If I could buy the card I would have it already and iStripper would have my money already. But this way I don't get the card and you don't get my money.

Make judgments based on other people's ratings, do we ? Well, there's a problem with that. Most cards with low ratings have those low ratings for reasons totally unrelated to the girl, her outfit and/or her performance. Way too many people want to give ratings of one or even zero if they have an issue trying to download a card. That has absolutely nothing to do with the show they are supposed to be rating. I know it's like that. All you have to do is read the comments on some cards to verify it for yourself because some of those members voice that in the comments. They also like to do that when a card is tied to a promo or something.

I've missed out on the last 3 Special Event/Exclusive cards. I don't care for the extra costs associated with them combined with the acquisition of many cards that just don't interest me. I ***** most of the games of chance because they just chew up credits that I could've applied directly to the purchase of specific wishlist cards. Although some of the games seem designed towards some type of fun addiction factor, I've never come out ahead or done well at any of them. So I don't even try anymore.

I love the straight across discounts, as do most customers & professional shopaholics. That's when I stock up on credits & spend until I get everything I want. I really like having these girls stripping on my desktop.

Team TOTEM, please consider occasionally adding more weekend events where 15%-25% off discounts can be applied to any cards that the customer wants. Putting the poor quality 480p Virtuagirl Classic cards on sale for 50% off would be attractive to those that normally avoid the older cards. Even for a limited time, maybe once or twice a year, making all Special Event/Exclusive cards available for purchase at a premium would probably make a lot of disgruntled customers happy once again.

This is clearly the largest amount of complaints that I've personally ever seen in the forum & just wanted to offer a few constructive suggestions. Thank you for the development of this amazing product.

When look positief at it I pay 14,71 a card and have the special card. So I did not lose a lot since normale a card cost 13,75.

When look logical at it I pay 41,67 a card that I want or 45,45 a card without the special card. Now I have another 12 ccard in my collection that I don't want and 22 i would have buy only on sales.

I don’t know if I will do this again next time.

Just my 2 cents. After having bought 750 credits today and using them all on the promo, i ended up with about 30 or so new cards and Niemira's Christmas promo card. Most of the cards I won were ones i had previously avoided purchasing due to lack of interest in the girl or the outfit so while i am not nearly as incensed as some of the other posters in this thread I did come away from this particular promo feeling less than pleased. That having been said I realized no one ***** me to play but the lack of success has soured me on any future promos that involve this type of element of chance. I am saying this not so much to ***** but so as to give active feedback as on the whole i am still pretty happy with istripper in general.

i agree but in my case . i did not win any promo cards. but i'm waiting on that next black friday sale for 2020. i'm not missing that one.

Maybe I'm just getting old, but my approach has always been this:

Companies will do whatever they want. I don't expect them to cater to me. What I expect is a relationship where I try to get what I want from them at the lowest cost I can, and they try to get as much money as they can from me. Essentially, it's a fist fight, with each of us trying to get the most we can from the other.

I'm curious. From this perspective, should one have gratitude or contempt for a sparring partner who has not yet attempted to gouge out your eyes?

As a collector who has literally spent THOUSANDS of dollars with iStripper, this just doesn't sit right.

At very least, make this card available for a limited time purchase, not just for a win. Someone like me who has ALL the cards might have to spend HUNDREDS to get just one card. That feels wrong. So wrong.

Please, rethink the approach guys.

I've never posted before. May never again, but I find this discussion fascinating, because I seem to have a totally different mindset from almost everyone who has expressed an opinion.

Maybe I'm just getting old, but my approach has always been this:

Companies will do whatever they want. I don't expect them to cater to me. What I expect is a relationship where I try to get what I want from them at the lowest cost I can, and they try to get as much money as they can from me. I realize there's a growing sense in society that companies should cater, but I don't think I'll ever quite understand that. What you want from them isn't always what's best for their business, and doesn't always reflect the values they do or don't have.

Honestly, I'm fine with that. I tend to think that the fist-fight motif fits a lot of situations in life. I understand the rules, and so do they. So when I see a promotion that doesn't appear to add value to me, I ignore it. When I see a good deal, I take advantage of it. The rest of the time, I'll buy things for a fair price if I feel like it.

I've enjoyed some of the promotions, and completely ignored others. I'm not a collector, so I don't care about exclusive cards and won't bother dumping a ton of credits to get them. But of course, I don't see the point in that. He who dies with the most toys still dies. But I get that others don't share that view.

Having said all that, I think a lot of commenters may be overestimating how many regular customers actually post/vote/engage beyond buying cards. I suspect there's a silent majority in the customer base, and I don't believe any poll taken or any roundup of the comments written would accurately represent that base. I believe this because I'm triple diamond, have been for years, but I almost never engage beyond buying cards here and there.

Remember folks, this is porn. The silent addiction (at least in some countries).

And finally, yes, this promotion is flawed if you have a lot of cards already, or if you're solely after the exclusive card. So I passed. But I can also see how it might benefit somebody who doesn't have many cards yet, and might not be after the exclusive card at all. And if you enjoy games of chance, so much the better.

Most of the promotions in the past gave a nice discount traded against getting cards you might not want to buy at regular price.
The particular issue with the spring break game is that Totem does not publish the odds. I have the same personal experience as @elfine. Average cost per card (normal & exclusive) was approximately 40-50 credits which is 3-4 times more expensive than buying cards selected by myself directly in the store (given my member level).

I like iStripper, the support staff, and the community, but not the spring break game. I do not like the concept of exclusive cards either. I can somehow accept exclusive cards as bonus for high volume purchases (including less attractice cards), but if the price goes above regular price I feel treated badly.

(On a side note: I was member of the month in January. There was no treat at all connected with.)

It's random luck, and the ratio win/lose isn't bad at all but the reward in my case would have not been 25 credits per card won.

I'm making this separate post to not mess with my answer to @kaiji.

My result from this game in graphics and some explanations.

I started playing with 84 credits and I had to buy 250 then 500 credits to keep playing and get the special card.
I did not plan to buy that much and in fact I could have bought less, but ...

The average of the game win/loose isn't really bad 54% win against 46% lost for a total of 109 times played.
It took me 102 games to get the "Special Card" and the effective cost for it is 350 credits.
In total I spent 1090 credits and earned back 740.

Over these 109 games I won:

• Bonus 10 - 54 times
• Bonus 50 - 4 times
• Bonus 100 - 0 times
• Free Card - potentially 8 times but I've never had one since the only cards I do not have are the 6/7 new cards released this week and it looks like we can not win them in this game
• Event Card - 1 time

On the graphic 2 (top right) the "Saw" results are the number of times I saw that bonus during my 109 games (win or lost) and the "Won" are the effective times I won the bonus.

Considering those results I would have ended with 8 free cards + 1 Event Card for a cost of 350/9 = 38.88 credits per card and I'm ending with 1 Special Event card and 484 credits over 834.

I wouldn't answer every question here but let me just give you some thoughts about this promotion and hopefully, reassure the most angry of you.
We have always wanted to do "exclusive / rare" shows. They do exist now and we believe they are a real added value to our content. No, these games are not illegal. We are a serious company and we have inquired with our lawyers. Remember that our games of chance are not here to "squeeze" you like I read on this thread but to make discounts and promotions more playful. I understand that some of you don't like games of chance, In this case, I just ask you to be respectful for those who like them and wait for the next promotion. Please keep in mind that we have many members who are very happy to benefit from these promotions cause they don't have the permanent discount you have.
Moreover, even if "special event cards" appear in games of chance, you can also get them on promos that don't depend on chance, like black Friday, pre orders etc.

Sorry, you crack me up every once in a while and I actually enjoy that from time to time. The 'models' are in & out of there. They're in the studio for like two days. How could anyone possibly have time to give sufficient dance lessons ?

Dance lessons would be investment of time to improve the product. Totem has two choices:
1. Make more money with the current product...creative deals using gambling, which increases software partcipation.
2. Improve the product so more people spend full price for the cards.

Other entertainment industries tend to try to improve the quality and talent involved in the product, not use gambling games...oh, well...either totem will make a ton of money, and their decision was justified, or they will lose money and the exclusive promotions will stop. Win/Win

I don't think I was disrespectful for others, yes I have a permanent discount now and I've already said in another thread that I'm finding it fair enough and wasn't asking for a better one. I also remember when I haven't that discount and as far I remember I never ***** about the promotions (except they the were not working properly).

It's not exactly true.
We were able to get some "special event cards" from pre orders, but you can't get any past "special event cards" from pre orders.
We were able to win some "special event cards" from the promos "Black Friday" but as far I know the only concerned "special event cards" were from the Advent Calendar 2017/2018 and Alyssia Kent - Splurging from the sale in november.
Totem never clearly said that we would be able to get all the new upcoming exclusive cards from the next "Black Friday" or any other game.

I think this deal is only good for people with small collections, for them it makes sense, even up to diamond status still probably worth it, but above that nope not at all.

I pretty much agree with each negative point that has already been raised here, price too high, chance of winning the special card card too low, not been able to choose your "free" card (if your lucky enough to get one) and then ending up with some card that you dont want and could have bought outright from the store for less credits, yeah thanks for that.

I dont actually have a problem with the scratch card game itself, if it was kept to just credits and normal free cards, its not for me but no problem, i am am happy to just sit it out and wait for the next one.

I think that if totem want to do an offer like this and bait it with a special event card, then there should be multiple ways of getting it, For example:-

If totem had said on say 1st or 2nd of march 19 that during this month there will be games of chance every week where you will be able to get a completely new exclusive card and also the other previous exclusive cards, (that were locked behind advent calenders and alike) will be avialable as well as part of the offers and that this is open to everyone. But at the same time they also did another offer something like if you pre-buy every show in march you get the new exclusive card for free (basically what they did in february but with an exclusive card thrown in. On the assumption that if you interested in that offer then you were probably interested in the previuos offers that did this and therefore will most likely already at least two of the other exclusive cards and only want the new one)

If totem had done that then at least there would have been a choice to be made by the consumer so you can decided whether you would rather ***** the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune or just stump up the cash and buy in bulk. For me i choose the latter option but for others they won't for a whole variety or reasons and thats fine but at least they would have had a shot at the prize without having to commit to buying a huge wedge of cards unseen. Meanwhile the people who do like buying in bulk and have large collections as a result and don't benefit so much from the "game type offers" can basically just sit it out same in the knowlegde that they will get the special card.

When you think about it its quite funny, as over christmas all the non collector types all get triggered by the advent exclusive card, then today all the collectors getting triggered by the outrageous odds on getting the only thing they wanted from the offer i.e. the card. It seems there are two types of istripper users those who collect and those who don't and everytime totem pull out one of these cards one of those groups is gonna get angry!!
so it seems reasonable to try and cater to both groups in this way.

well anyway thats what i think,
for me the worst bit is that i am going to have to see that card in the store all the time untill i get another chance at it, that is going to annoy the hell out of me !!!!

Special Event Card -
Exclusivity by means of blindly throwing credits at scratch cards.

Really hitting below the belt for a *new* exclusive card. Sorry for my fellow members with gambling weaknesses -.-

The rest of the event is fine and fair, a decent return for random cards and credits.

Buy scratch cards until you hit it, or wait for some other promotion to provide another opportunity.

So here we go again with those "special event" cards... There's a French expression that goes along the lines of saying that you could ***** in a violin and obtain the exact same result. It looks like that marketing stunt is profitable enough that they can afford to purposefully ignore any complaint by any number of clients.

As for me, I have decided to ignore those special event cards and never to take part in any said special event offering any special event card. I wish there could be a feature that doesn't let those appear in the store (since they can't be bought, they shouldn't appear in the store), but hey, what can you do?

I have to say that about the content produced, instead, I am rather an happy customer. Sometimes a quite out ot focus shows is released, but usually the video quality is good for me. I am also much happy about the east Europe girls. I would just suggest to get more props and have more cards telling sorts of "stories", as a secretary typing but then sweating and stripping down because of hot summer, workout or yoga shows, shows of girls changing their clothes, reverse strip, showers, and so. The only thing I really dislike here are the exclusive cards.

Yeah i don't really care where the girls come from if they look amazing...I do agree though about the outfits though..Kay j...Victorian secret was a great look and i hope it is a road they continue to go down..I love the girls to dress up and tease...Starting half undressed is not really stripping its just hey look at my boobs.Some girls do look off camera a lot so perhaps encourage them and point this out instead of pushing on and releasing it as a final cut.

Why do i even care -.-

If I was a collector I would be p.oed about these "games"...collectors have spent around $5000 dollars and are the main supporters of the product and now totem says..."to keep a full collection you need to spend a random amount of money. This a very shortsighted decision because collectors will eventually tire of jumping through the hoops and once their collection isn't full they will pull back to only buying the "good" cards based on personal preference. Why can't businesses just make a product worth selling, and sell it? The product isn't as good as it used to be but totem could certainly invest into better props, a more diverse lineup of girls from places other than eastern europe, different camera technology, dance lessons for the girls...
