How Do I delete preview cards ?

I'm *****......
Couldn't you go to your models folder yourselves and delete them there ?
Does that not work for some reason ?

I enjoy the new release.
I had enjoyed also the "wishlist" as reminder, because i didn't went too many previews on my HDD.
For me the previews only serve to decide if dowload (and then buying) or not the full show of an interesting girl.
The only thing I don't like is the impossibility of deleting the previews like the old releases, but i read that this will be fixed.

We did not expect such negative feedback about this version. We followed the beta releases protocol, versions with the new Preview tab and 7 previews limitations have been released in bugs & fixes for the last two months without much negative feedback.

Please keep in mind Totem has to manage lots of different types of users to stay in business, from free loaders to advanced collectors. Totem would not exist without its paying customers, but it would not exist either without a continuous input of new users that start buying at some point. I understand everyone wants free unlimited access to everything, but there was a lot of ***** with the free previews (hundred thousands of accounts with thousands of free demos a not a single sale, thousands of diamond accounts now only collecting previews) and we’ve been saying for months we’d eventually have to limit it.

Upgrade to this version is not mandatory, and we provide a forum exactly for this, to discuss with our members. Offering the update in the software without explanations on its content was a mistake, we’ll upgrade our update system to be able to describe the content of the updates in the future.

Push of Previews is intended for new users, because we see 80% of them going idle after a few preview downloads and never make a purchase. We want them to feel they are in a strip club and there are new girls showing up on stage every 10 minutes PLUS they can go pickup any in the catalog. Paying customer can and should if they feel like it disable the push. I understand when you are a paying member than you don’t want random girls on stage but rather pick them up one by one. I don’t understand the ***** from paying members tho, if you don’t want free previews to be pushed, just choose « Never » in advanced settings.

7 Previews at a time rather than unlimited is of course a step back, but it was ***** the company that provides you new models every day and we had to end it. Wishlist is there now for you to mark the girls that might interest you (the bug has been fixed). As I said above, since we switched from VirtuaGirl (where NO preview could be chosen and 10 previews were pushed every day no matter what) to iStripper (where you can freely choose to download any preview without any limitation and NO preview was pushed) we saw hundred thousands of accounts with thousands of free demos a not a single sale, thousands of platinum+ accounts now only collecting previews and over 80% of new users converting far less than before just because they had to actively seek girls to see new previews.

Being able to disable Free Previews individually is missing, we agree, it will be added, probably through a delete button in the Previews.

We rely on P2P to be able to show free previews to new users and new users and vital to our business, hence the 20Gb of data kept on your hard drive to be shared with others through P2P. We also understand people who don’t want to help us sharing their disk space and we’ll provide this week the registry key you can edit to put this value as low as zero.

We plan to experiment discounts in the pushed previews in the next release, I hope you’ll enjoy that.

I thought that if you owned at least one card you could stop the automatic loading of previews. Are you saying that isn't true?

I agree get ride of this push preview. I have never used the previews to select a card for purchase and I wish I could get rid of the ones the update pushed on to me but even deleteing the card from the data file does not stop it coming back

Remove the card preview. go to settings. Clips ---> Never in free preview

I checked myself and went up to 250 wishlist items, and it seems like it worked. If it doesn't work for you - you might want to report it there.

That doesn't change the fact that I was (am?) doing stuff in a fashion similar to @Birger52 so I have no plans to upgrade just yet...

Thank you Wyldanimal I did make a list of taken clips (and save to playlists) from various 'Gloria' cards just the pole dancing bits. stupid me didn't realize that the clips are played in reverse order (that is from bottom to top), I just presumed it would play from top to bottom. I was impatient I admit trying it a few times, just going thru a couple of clips hence I didn't realize der....dumb. Any how thank you for the answer.
PS. Now if istripper could do something about that stupid new preview feature (no ***** to buy preview before disable. no popping up in my choice of clips list) that would be tops.

Totem says: "note: Free preview push can be disabled in your settings if you have made at least One purchase of credits."

I tried this and it still doesn't give you an option to turn the push previews off.

I solved the problem with a preview models.
Simply remove the appropriate folder with model numbers with demo

Looks like I'm not the only one that doesn't approve with the automatic download of preview models. Change the previews back to user controlled downloads because I only download previews of shows I plan to buy, not a bunch of crap that I don't want. Please fix it Totem.

I'm not pleased by these dances demo preview I want to get rid of them. Earlier there was a mute button in the program and now is not.

Seriously? Listing a number of format wars in product lines newly created is not not the same as pushing unwanted products. You are pushing clips at random in the hopes that your clients will buy them thinking they have no choice, regardless of the fact that different people have different tastes. Where one girl might appeal to some clients does not mean all clients will like her.

As I mentionned before, if you want to increase your sales, make better offers that doesn't ***** your clients to buy unwanted clips along with the desired ones, such as last weekend's "buy ten get 2 free" offer. Let go of the "buy the ten we offer you or else" stupid offers where half the girls selected are not appealing to the clients. Why should I buy a pack of ten girls for the price of 8 when only 6 appeal to me?

Keep disrespecting your clients and they will go away.

And BTW, the description of your downgrade in the original post clearly sates that the previews not in the list of 7 will be removed (not deactivated)

Sill think, that if the limit of 7 active previews is to be upheld, users need an alternative way to mark a card, that has been previewed.
That it starts playing immidiately, rather than having to download first, is not really usefull - especially if it doesn't start and has to be downloaded first.
Cards go on the wishlist all the time - almost daily there is a "featured" card, that goes in there.
Yes I can limit the number, and yes, I can make do with 7 previews. (Prefer not to have to, tho...)
The result will be less insentive to spend the credits. It will simply be too complicated, too much work and take too long to figure out which of the cards in wishlist to invest in.

It's kind of expecting customers to divide all cards into 2 piles, when a new "feature" is out:
You watch the demo of the cards you think you might like to buy, and from that you make the descission:

1. don't like
2. want to buy

So the ones I do like, but does not want to buy at the moment, simply goes into oblivion - unless I have some way of marking the card as some kind of favorite on my wishlist.
In 1.2.148 I keep the preview of the favorites in the wishlist, so I know the card is a favorite for investment, and remove the preview of the ones I like, but will have to wait to invest in.
Without preview (and limiting my favorite wishes to 7 is not an option) I will have to go through all of the wishlist, every time I have some credits to invest - and the result will be fewer investments. (Or a forever mindbuggeling doubt, that I did not invest my limited credits, where I will get the most benefit of it).
Really don't see why Totem would limit my intensive to invest, or make it difficult to decide which card(s) to invest in.

So I need a third pile between the don't like (not in wishlist) and the want to buy (in wishlist) pile - call it preview or favorite or whatever.
But it has to be something I deside, and it will need to hold as many cards as I need it to.

My first impression of iStripper is that it is pretty much the best thing since sliced bread, so I hope the developers listen to the forums and don't keep going in this silly direction of chewing up our bandwidth and harddrives with unwanted downloads.

This isn't NEW! VG used to have a calendar, and you got Automatic Previews every day...
Then they went to the Carousel
And you Got 12 or more previews pushed every day.

So this Isn't a NEW idea.

The only thing that is NEW, is you can now control it.. and Even turn if OFF ! Now that is NEW.

I made a Demo Video.
In the Video, I create a playlist From the Clip List.
I ***** Clips in the reverse Order, I want them to play.
The Play List Plays from the Bottom of the List to the Top.

I save the play list, and clear it ( not Necessary )
I open Now Playing tab
I insert the New Playlist
I have Repeat Checked, and Random Not Checked
I turn On iStripper
I show which Clip is playing. then cancel it.
I go through the List once, then turn on Random.
Now the List gets Jumbled as it plays..
I turn off Random

I clear the List, then Insert it again to get my Order back.

You have total control over which Clip and in What order they Play.
You just have to plan ahead, and ***** them in Reverse Order.

How to Play a Specific List of Clips
Start a new play list.
Don't ***** the Whole card.
Open the Clip list, and ***** a single Clip to the Playlist.
The PLaylist Won't show the name of the clip, just the card image.
But Each Clip can be added individually to the List.

And will play in the reverse order ( from Bottom to Top )

try it with just one card..

make a playlist, by ***** just the clips you want in the order you want.
Save it.
iStripper OFF
Go to Now Playing.
Insert the playlist.
Random, NOT checked= List plays in Order from Bottom to Top
Repeat, doesn't matter ( Not Checked = List plays once, Checked = List repeats )

turn iStripper ON

Did they Play in Order from Bottom to Top?

Previews? Always look preview. If dont allow to look. Sad. Will wait next card. Only 7 times – who offered this wrong idea? Sometimes I look 20 times.
Agree the Wishlist is good. That red small heart for favourite girls why delete? Would be more better look at cards!

I agree with @ukdazza. I own a great many 720p cards, but seldom play them. I would pay to upgrade them to 1080p. I suggest that half the price difference between medium quality and high quality shows would be appropriate when a medium quality (720p) card is upgraded to high quality (1080p). That way I get a bargain for having bought the card while it was just medium quality and Totem additional income for the work of remastering it. In some cases, I'd be willing to pay the entire difference in price between medium quality and high quality.

Thanks Wuzthis I give it a try. The new preview idea is annoying. On the playlist what I meant was I had various cards of say Gloria and I made a playlist with clips taken out of the cards and saved it. When I load it and play it, the clips aren't played in order on listed what I created, it plays random even if I haven't got the random box clicked and I also have progressive nudity disabled. In other words I like to play my save file of Gloria clips as the order it was made. I hope this makes sense explaining, can't get it to work and what is worst with this new stupid preview feature popping up it has me baffled. Thank you for your quick reply. I will hopefully come back another day soon with the 'preview' demo having a proper able or disable feature that works without having to forcefully buy a preview I may not want and let me play my purchased clips single or in a created playlist in order clips created. Gee that last sentence was long, lol. : } Cheers and once again thanks Wuzthis.

Settings > Clips > Free Preview Push > Never
Settings > Controls > Contextual menu > add "Enable/Disable"
When preview pops up that you don't like > right click video > click the "Tick" to disable

As for playlist, it may still be random but if you haven't already;
Settings > Display > Display clips list
Click on model card > Clips (top right of screen) > tick appropriate clip

From there, you either leave the clips playing randomly or set it to progressive nudity.

The biggest problem with this is that even if you disable it you're still downloading them constantly, chewing up your bandwidth and wearing down your harddrive from unnecessary constant downloading and writing to disc.

This is indeed a stupid feature, I ***** it. istripper is ***** you to purchase one preview before you can disable. I have purchased 30 odd cards which I wanted but this is ***** you to make a purchase off something I don't want just so I can disable this dumb feature. Who the hell thought of this dumb idea just plain greedy Highly disappointed in istripper now. Oh, by the way I try like one suggested to disable but it doesn't work by clicking on the model I want to get rid of. The preview is ruining by purchased models by appearing in their shows. Remove this awful feature istripper, listen to the people.

Can Totem, provide an update on resolution update plans, I have ahigh res Imac and own all the high res shows, but as a member from day 1 I also have hundreds of 1080p, 720 and even a few 480 cards, great shows but look terable on todays high res displays. I have always supported Totem but have even started to miss out on promotions as I own most or all of the cards on offer. Totem could generate significant revenue by remastering the 1080, 720 and if possible 480 shows, I would gladly pay a small fee to upgrade already owned cards to higher resolution (perhaps start by date and work backwards).
If resultion updates are still being done can we have a shecdule of which cards are being done.

Please can I disable, stop the annoying previews. I don't always want them. This is so annoying they pop up when I want my other girls which I purchase in the now playing tab. Surely we should be able to disable Previews, when I want to see a preview I will not ***** upon me please. Also when I create a playlist how do I play it and in order of the select clips I made from the cards. Surely this can be done. Please anyone admin. istripper site inform me and others how I can work this. Also do something about the Previews please.
