I will second that the backlash about the initial price increase is that it surprised people. I don't know about other people, but I am always more than happy to spend more credits on "specialty" shows if they derive from the standard formula of iStripper. XXX shows, I know, cost more money due to the price of the model, and I get it that we should pay more as users to enjoy said content. It's only fair. I happily paid extra for Estonika's beautiful Harley cosplay and Nancy A's halloween treat (despite not being xxx) - I understood they required extra effort to produce, and I highly enjoy those shows because of said effort and willingly paid more.

I don't know how well iStripper is doing overall, but if it comes down to it, I'm still happy with just standard iStripper shows. I gobbled up all of Adriana Chechik's shows as I am a HUGE fan of her, and despite that she doesn't do the kinky anal stuff she's known for in porn here, I still highly enjoy just seing her naked on my desktop.

While I am also happy to pay extra for special shows, and also bought Nancy A's halloween show as soon as it was released, I couldn't do the same with Estonika's. It was her first card, and I had no others to compare it to, so not knowing the quality of her shows, I waited until the card was on sale. Also, while Nancy A always puts on an excellent show, Estonika's shows have been hit or miss with me, regardless of how beautiful she is.

I would like to see my favorite model Katya Clover in a glass card and see her get wet and wild on my laptop. I love to see what she can do with a bucket of water on the screen. I bet she will do a good job with glass card and I will pay a lot of money for that to happen:)

Kinda random choice of cards but sometimes with a plan

Any time you have something to do with money and/or credits, you need to take it up directly with customer service
Doing it that way will likely get a better and faster response

However, recently there is a "Lucky Box" function under "featured", which I am not familiar with and have downloaded 14 cards which I do not want.

I agree with many others here that the mystery box feels like a rip off because at the end of the day you may end up with no cards that you want.

But you know that before you buy, so why does it feel like a rip off? I assume if you buy a raffle ticket you don't feel ripped off if you win nothing or if you win a prize that you don't want.

I don't think people expect a discount on all cards every week

Some people (like me) value the choice over which cards they have in their collection and getting random cards doesn't offer that choice.

You always have the possibility of buying exactly the cards you want. The special offers are something extra above and beyond that, something that you can ignore if and when they do not suit you.

Totem, much to their credit, do occassionaly make some offers of that kind, but it can never be the norm unless they are overcharging outside of the offers.

Maybe something more like has been done previously where there is a discount on a specific catagory eg. bikinis. I know on a few occasions I have bought cards that I would normally have bought because of this type of offer and I've really enjoyed them.
There is also the type of offer like last week where if you buy X number of the weeks cards you get one free next week. This could work even if it was an older card or maybe one from you wishlist.

thats stil no reason to buy "expensive crap" when you have better alts for building collection (480p, 720p and 1080p).

When it comes to random boxes, I prefer the ones that let me see which cards I got before deciding if I want to buy or not. If I'm going completely blind I prefer not to spend my credits at all :P

For what its worth.
I have 3770 cards in my collection about 30 have Not been Downloaded.

there are 19812 .demo files that total 103,817,823,782 bytes
or approximately 97 gibibytes, or 103 gigabytes

So even using the nice round number of 2000000000
for the value of that registry

You will never exceed that limit.

The whole Idea is to set a Limit that won't be exceeded,
so you can keep all of the .demo clips.

The real intended function though, is for a member who is concerned abut how much space the .demos are taking up.
Lots of members have submitted complaints over that issue.

So by default, the limit is set to 2 GB.

when the Size of the .demos exceeded the set limit.
they are deleted.
( i'm not sure if it's the next time you start iStripper, or the next day or when specifically, but the demo files that exceed the set limit are removed. )

Actually I should have simply entered 2000000000 since Hard Disks are sized in TeraBytes not TebiBytes.

The advertised Size of a HD is in Terabytes, orders of 1000 bytes, but the Data is stored in TebiByte or orders of 1024 bytes.
So you do need to use 219902325552 for 2TB of data.


Also I did a local Test.
with the registry value maxUserDefinedPreviewsBuffer removed from my resgistry

The Next time I started iStripper, my Demos started to be deleted.

So I believe you do need to have that key to prevent the demos from disappearing.

You get the demo's upon download,
but the next time or next day you start up iStripper, if you have exceeded the demo size limit
they are removed.

So I recommend for anyone who wants to Keep all of the demos

add the Registry value, or for a Mac add it to the preference file.

Well I went for the 'deal' and got 5 dancers about 5-7 months old at full price and for my bonus ... I got a rock ( apologies to ***** Brown.)
