@sc00fy: Just wondering what you're trying to achieve here, my friend :) No posts for 3 years then suddenly back with a little moan at Totem's policy which I believe has always been around. If you are able to hack the software to your liking without breaking any legal T&C's and it works for you, not intending to buy the new cards of course as you can't play them with older versions, why ***** about it in public?

In your situation and with your skillset, I think I would have kept it to myself or maybe told a few old like-minded buddies how to do it. I'm not sure publicly announcing this kind of 'Hack' will bring you happiness :(

'Totem Entertainment Licence'
The software produced by Totem Entertainment and made available for download and evaluation purposes from the websites of Totem Entertainment are protected by copyright laws and international copyright treaties. Registration and payment for the products are available trough various resellers that can be found on Totem Entertainment's websites. This licence applies to all and any use of the software, including evaluation period of the software.

All material, including, without limitation, all advertising banners, photographic materials, recordings, video, sound, animations, and any other form of intellectual property licenced to you by Totem Entertainment as part of this agreement shall remain the property of Totem Entertainment and may not be copied or reproduced, ALTERED, modified or changed, broadcast, distributed, transmitted or disseminated, sold or offered for sale in any manner, at any time anywhere in the World except as expressly authorized by Totem Entertainment in writing.'

Yes, technically, deleting the demos file to reload the carousel could be called a hack but since the idea has been around for a long time and now there are no discounts on the carousel anymore, only Totem can gain financially from this one :)
