No it won't, but it will be hell of a lots of work to do, if you're going to delete the demo clips manually from each card you have. There was also a script for this, but as I prefer to keep the demo clips of the purchased cards, don't have it.

Or you meant to delete the free demos, which get automatically downloaded daily?
You can delete them without messing up anything and it will free up a lot of space on your HDD. Just disable "Automatically download demos" option in Settings, to not get them back in the future and leave data folder untouched (don't delete the picture cards).

Edit: Just Quit VGHD and its Downloader before deleting anything.

To answer your question about deleting the demos.....
You can manually delete the demos with no adverse effects.
What I just did with one of the latest cards was I went into my models folder, manually deleted all the demo clips there. I then turned VG off and back on(not sure if that has to be done). Then I right clicked the synchronize button in the advanced settings and clicked on rebuild all.
Activated that card only. All is fine. Card works with no problems.

As for the "it" clips, or transitional clips, you have so much disdain for.....
With the same card, I removed all the "it"(transitional) clips from the models folder, did the same thing with rebuild all and then activated that card only.
It's been playing for about an hour with no issues. Although, there are clips that have a spinning action going on for a second or two at the ending. "Magic at end" is how it's labeled.
Not sure if that works for everyone but, it works for me.

Fullscreen/screensaver works for me now too. I have had issues with the screensaver in the past. When I say "issues", I mean pretty much not working at all.

I'm running 1.2.0.52


Also, if you didn't notice, you can set it to play only one card at a time if you wish. You're not tied down to playing multiple cards.

CE, all of the above reasons. Totem's forum polls allow only one choice each. I've been trying to find a way for recognition to be given to girls that possibly nobody has on top, but many may have in their top ten.
As a contrived example, consider a three way poll: A, B, C. if 10 members vote, maybe 6 vote A, and 4 vote B. C scores zero. However, it is possible that all 10 voters had C as their second choice, in which case she would have scored more than B, if a 3-2-1 system was in place.
Plus, I really enjoy both seeing others' opinions, and playing with numerical statistics.

Nothing to add after 12 hours. Over 25 visitors but no posts so far. Believe me, I know how hard it is to decide which girls deserve top ratings. It has taken me the last 5 weeks to put all my girls into an order I can live with, and I still find I want to change things. Just a few days ago I lifted Krystel by over 50 places on my virtual ladder, due to activating a card I had not watched before.

So, take some time before you post your 30 votes, but be sure to get it done before the New Year.

@sc00fy The full screen mode uses GPU to render the girls. Would you mind checking and updating your OpenGL drivers and let me know if that solves the issue?

HOOK tool is helping hand. It's successfully suppress any window, including "pop-up".
You can trace ***** windows of main application and place them anywhere within HDC.SCREEN or completly hide, or even close at once.
CONCLUSION: enjoy what You have, or write Active-X surrogate to take control over VGHD-player, that actually using QT library. You can achive this by using WM-message API controls. Not a secret, multimonitor support pretty poor. Actually, I'm using hardware management on low-level for scaling and screen re-streaming. This is not a hack, it is low-level system management, because source application (VGHD) is intact. I can do whatever I want with my hardware anyway...
STATMENT: do NOT disassembly or modify source application. This will break license agreement. If you want to modify Your registry - you free to go: system registry is your property.

Perhaps it might help, if to use another 1.2.0.xx version instead.

There has been told that the 1.2.0.34 was a pretty good one - stable and almost bug-free.

You can give it a try .. rename the current bin (to "xx52.bin" for examlpe) and install .34.

If there will be no difference, you can go back to the version .52 just by changing its renamed bin folder to "bin" again, and now .34's bin to "xx34.bin".

Edit: Ability to delete just the demo clips comes with Plat level, and that means a Clip Selector, perhaps there is another solution, but can't remember right now ..

Yep, reverting back to an older one won't always overwrite all the new version's settings .. and that might cause a mess.
That's why I've been using WA's method of renaming bin folders. The registry remains untouched then .. just the different bins - different versions to use.

How about Revo uninstaller. To scan for leftovers, I men. Haven't used it a lot, though, but when I did, it found some interesting stuff (couple of incomplete uninstalls and quite many invalid registry keys) in my system, plus also couple of toolbars (Spigot, Open Candy), to which I had no idea they were there. And it didn't mess up anything by cleaning them out.
But you have to be careful enough of course and if there is no urgent need, don't use it.

Edit: Btw. Why did you uninstall VGHD, as there has been told not to uninstall, but install over the existing one, even when reverting back ..?

so NO, you will not be able to roll back to a 1.1.xx version once you install a 1.2.xx version..

@sc00fy The next update of the software will feature warning messages as this one directly in your news section, wich will be less intrusive. But the version you're using is displaying popup and we can't change that till... you update to a newer version.

I hope other members will post in this poll, although I may be rehashing what others have done in the past.
I propose each member allocate points to their favourite Virtuagirls with just 2 simple rules/restrictions.

1. You have a total of 30 points to allocate. Less if you like, but no more than 30.

2. No girl can be given more than 3 points.


So you have options, most of which are fairly obvious. For example, you could give 3 points each to 10 girls. Or, 1 point each to 30 girls. Or, split things up, as I intend to do to get things started - 5 girls get 3 points, 5 get 2 points, and 5 get 1 point.


Any posts under this thread will be collated by myself, and a daily total posted, to keep the thread near the top of the list.

My thought is to limit posts to 1 per member, but I may be persuaded otherwise.

To keep things simple, only posts dated December 2014 will be considered initially.

In all the years that I've been running multiple Accounts and altering and changing the registry...
Switching Version to Version, running multiple copies...

I've never had a single registry issue.
And I have never heard from any other member about a scrambled Registry..
In our Team forum, Not one single instance of it ever being reported, Ever!

So I doubt that it was VG that messed it up.

Unless you have undisputed proof of that..

I'll agree with Oggle. I bought most of the 3K cards because I liked the looks of the model and after the first card because I liked the way they performed. One model was questionable for me, but when I finally saw a demo of her card, I bough it. I think the models are well above average and the production values of the 3K cards are noticeably better than the 1080p cards.

Thanks for explaining this. I'm particularly not against updates of any kind - that's the way the whole system should become better and less vulnerable, but sometimes some of the updates can cause a real trouble indeed or unexpected nasty surprises.

Just opened my computer to find out that CCleaner has updated itself automatically to the latest .. And the GUI, which used to be a pretty nice one (with good-looking 3D icons), looked now as a piece of ***** - plain drawing, inspired of Win 8 style.

But as the previous installer was still in Downloads, the new version got kicked off once and for good.

Btw. Pretty interesting trick actually setting the computer "back in time" };-))

Completely understandable. But if you're already on one of the 1.2.0.xx versions, perhaps you could try just to rename a bin folder before updating, so you could switch back to the previous one, with no need to reinstall it again, if something goes wrong with the update.

But if you're still on 1.1.0.xx, there's no way back indeed ..

That's WA's trick actually and has been always working very well for me with the versions of 1.1.0.xx.

So I thought it was this one BJlover was looking for .. editing scenes. Now I see! You refer to the post, where Hombre suggests just to remove the table thumbnail image in Scenes _ Multi folder.
