Regarding the 20%

If you don't buy cards instantly and wait a while they come up for 15% off on the previews, so it makes the 20% even less valuable when you take that into account. You are really looking at 5% difference which with the 20% price hike makes premium pointless as far as price goes.

VR shows just arent worth the money anyway to me so i dont count there % off as a bonus. I can sign up to one of the multi vendor sites for £12/month and download 300 45 min (5k,6k,7k) vr shows then cancel my membership after one month.

The 4k is cool but i'm not paying extra for them as they arent really doing extra work other than export settings, i can (and have) write upscale shaders which get close to as clear as 4k.

I stopped buying credits when they introduced premium in protest at the old price so they have no chance now, i have 395 girls on my wishlist. how much is that in lost sales? How many other people did as i did?

I have looked through the members list (a while ago) and it is mostly people with full collections (to be fair they did need some love as every TGIF was pointless for them) that have subscribed to premium ... mostly. I bet this endevor has been a net loss for totem hence the price hike.

The main reason that made me give up this subscription is that this discount for which we pay had to be combined with promotional offers. And (I think I told you about it) during the 20% discount on certain categories of cards (January sales) the accumulation was not done. In my memories, I think the Premiums get 30%. Being of the type; I won't be fooled twice..............😀😀 Otherwise, don't bother to become Premium, wait for the sales and you get the same benefits.

Anyway a customer service should always have in mind to respond as fast as possible to their customers in order to provide excellent service. We should not have to pay for this,

As for the discount, you have to buy a lot of cards to make it profitable to buy the PREMIUM membership.

It did make a difference but because you can't specify a resolution in camera 3D (AFIK) it's running in 4k on mine. If i drop the desktop resolution to 1080p it's smooth.
Far from ideal but.... you could disable your 4K cards temporarily or keep a separate 3K collection for this type of scene and swap them over. 😪

I tend to only run my own scenes and thats usually while i'm working on them. Yours was just to see if i could help out with performance.

Premium offers two significant benefits (and a few very ***** ones that some might regard as more important than either you or i - there seem to be some that really value having the little crown), It is up to you as to whether or not these benefits are sufficient to tempt you to join.

I`m very dissapointed how look the forum these days.
I don`t talk about the interface (the design of the forum),because I see it remained the same.
I was away long time from forum and I see some changes since that time.

I`m very dissapointed the way how can you write a message (a post).
This style like Microsoft Word (bold,italic,underline) is not on my taste at all.
The other features (List,add list item,quote, code- whatever it means and at what can be used) are useless from my point of view.
The only practical things are emoticons(smileys)
How many of you do you use the last features mentioned??.

I don`t know how it is this system in other countries,but in Romania if you want to adopt a baby or a ***** you need 1000 papers , a century of patience and you must wait years. The birocracy is still present.
Many couples who wanted to adopt ,they gave up ,because of birocracy.

Becoming a premium member is a choice.
It's not for everyone.

Your Point is exactly right.
If you are the type of member who buys every show, then Premium is well worth it's price for you.

But if you are a discriminating buyer who only buys a few cards, then Premium will not be cost effective for you.
But, You may choose to get premium because you want access to the 4K resolution. That is a choice you make.

It is a decision that a member has to decide on, based on what the value is to them.

Yes, it seems to happen in a few scenes that have multiple clips running. I found shutting down other software like Google Chrome or restarting iStripper would clear it. It's really annoying.

No it is not. If you buy credits for regulat price you have to buy at least 218 cards, to break even with the old Premium price for 59,95€ per year.
For the new premium price for 71,88€ a year you have to buy 261 cards a year.
If you buy credits with the reload bonus, you have to buy even more cards a year. 261 Cards with the old 59€ price and 313 Cards with the new 71.88€ price, if you buy packs of 600credits for 50€. For the 1320Credit pack you need 283 cards for the old 59€ Premium, 345 cards for the new 71,88€ Premium.
So with the new Premium you don't save any money, you just pay 71,88€ for 4K cards.

I am premium only for the price reduction on new cards. I also download cards in only 720p resolution, though I do have a 1080p screen.

Customer service will not remove any cards from you collection, unless:

• you specifically request it, with specified card(s)
• you ask about the already removed cards

The PREMIUM skin, there is no advantage to that. Honestly. We just have a PREMIUM logo. It's a very simple white skin with no image. Moreover for the priority of the answers, that makes me laugh because I already waited to have an answer at least one good week, and I had to rewrite to have this answer.

The only advantage is to have the cards in 4K. By the way, why pay extra for this resolution, when the others are available outside PREMIUM?

This is an easy way for Totem to get people to buy their cards, by giving them little privilege. Giving them the impression that they are a cut above.

By the way, Totem is often stingy with comments, when asked on the forum, about some of their practices. I'm thinking of the "wild" withdrawals of their cards without warning.

Le skin PREMIUM, il n'y a aucun avantage à cela. Franchement. On a juste un logo PREMIUM. C'est un skin très simple blanc et sans image. It doesn't do that for me. It has always started a scene selected at random from whatever scenes that I have enabled.

Also, I noticed in settings that the full screen drop down only has "image 1" as a selection.

I am not sure what you mean. Are you refering to the Full Screen/Screen setting dropdown menu which for me currently offers only "Screen 1", but if I plug in an external monitor it has always offered me a choice of "Screen 1" and "Screen 2".

Almost everything is in a sprite that rotates continuously, the individual clipsprites rotate in the opposite direction so that they always face the front.

Only the backs of the podiums could be removed but if I chopped them out, I'd have to rotate the podium at the same speed as the whole saucer rotation in the opposite direction like the clipsprites.... I think the difference would be very marginal.

I may be wrong but I don't think a mask on a single quad would look correct when viewed from different angles and it was a full 3d effect that I wanted to create when I set off to build this.

If I understand you correctly then nest the quad and the masking sprite in a node. Any movements or rotations applied to the node will then move the quad and sprite. By default the quad and sprite will be co-located (though you can change this by specifing pos: and rot: for the nested elements when any values you specify will be relative to the node.

@pickle1: I am looking at shows with a dress and no panties right now. Those are the ones that interest me most.
Of course that is a matter of personal taste.

When I am doing QA, I track shows that are pantyless or bottomless (where the pants are removed first but not from under a dress - e.g. a bikini where the top is kept on) and just in the most recent 470 shows there are

99 pantyless
134 bottomless

I should say though that these are shows where in at least one clip the model is pantyless. If you are looking for shows where the model just does not possess a pair of panties, then those numbers are smaller.

hmm..I haven't had time to look closely at the .scn code, however with a third of a million lines of code in a single .scn it seems like a good place to startSure, i'd expect the model in center gets jerky because 3D camera zoom rescaling up mostly goes there.There's "0;" ending typos btw in every sprite node rot parameter...etc..etc.@Z22 what resolution models are you using to test this ?What happens to overall FPS when you // eliminate each model ?

I just noticed that if I add in an extra model that is not part of the scene but is the first model in the scn file i.e the main model then the frame rate goes up. I assume this means that the software treats the main model differently to the other models ?? Anyway..... I won't be changing my version because I don't want to lose control of which is the main model but anyone with performance issues might want to try that.

I checked the photos to determine this so if the model wears panties in the show but they are not visible on the photos i apologize.

in a framebuffer node. Call that as source in a sprite node and apply a subsequent shader
to that sprite. Any more buffers, and you would need to chain them as framebuffers. He he..
sounds a bit like somethang you have done already / would do at the.scn level.
However I was really talking about our OpenGL: Fullscreen platform being able to handle that buffering
in a coordinated way within one shader, like they do in da WebGL.

You could get nearly the same effect for the "window" by using a masking texture on a quad, same goes for the strip at the top and bottom. Arent they most of the sprites?

That's a great find !! 👍 Some have the same co-ordinates but different rotation and the rotations are 360 apart - I'd gone round each circle twice !

@Calgon , yeh i removed the tripple shaders in the sprites and didnt see any performance change. the thing with the textures wont cause any performance problem, more just a problem for you if you want to use the first "Texture" as it will use the second "Texture" and same with 3 calls to the same file. Its more for neatness and less of a headache for you and anyone else reading it. (he says having posted loads of code without comments :/ )

There are some other sprites with 2 shaders active and as with the others removing the extra one made no difference to performance.

I think its just because of the number of things its having to deal with.

You could get nearly the same effect for the "window" by using a masking texture on a quad, same goes for the strip at the top and bottom. Arent they most of the sprites?

I've been hoping (sigh) Totem will one day give us a Deluxe Player
with OpenGL capable of running several common buffers & cubic textures like WebGL do.
We can sort of do multiple shaders rendered onto a common sprite by calling
framebuffers sequentially however inserting them in a coordinated fashion is another thang
and the memory use of same currently sucks :-/😟

Gotcha - changed this as well but it made no performance difference.

I have no idea how the core program works behind the scenes but I would have thought that when the code is compiled the final shader is the one that is calculated but it was worth a try and I "shaved off" about 50k lines of bloat from the code.
