My rant was about making collectors go through the Black Friday obstacle course and the Casino Royale horseshit from two weeks ago. For my purposes, as a full-collection kinda guy, I heartily approve of this weekend's promotion! Personally, I would LOOOOOOVE it if Totem would let us purchase next month's cards in advance EVERY MONTH - even without the additional discount! The additional discount is pretty sweet, though 😉 I can certainly understand, however, that Totem isn't necessarily 100% certain how many cards will be made available for purchase for the next 30 to 31 days. I'm not a fan of dangling an otherwise unobtainable card as an incentive to purchase a full month's cards. Personally, as a collector, I would accept such a promotion without the additional cherry on top. Don't get me wrong - I very much appreciate the cherry!

Here's an idea: Instead of offering a month's worth of cards to include a "Special Event" card AND a discount, why not periodically offer a full week's worth of cards with NO discount but with the inclusion of a "Special Event" card for free? I would think that would satisfy both full-collectors and more discerning collectors.

Perhaps this idea (or something similar) has been presented previously. Please forgive me if this is the case. Anyway, What d'ya think?

As a "bonus" from the scratch and sniff sh!t i have a hand full of low res crap cards i never will watch.
I don't mind special events like that for the steampunk card. No reason to buy into it if you don't want, because the card was made public two weeks later.

And i repeat my argument, if Totem wants to sell cards they should produce good ones. PERIOD.

On the other hand, i decided to never buy credits again, so i'm just here watching the ship go down and having fun on the ride while spending the last credits.

Well I will tend to side with the previous poster's second option. The company has lost credibility that can't be regained. This weekend's oh so wonderful deal is an attempt to mollycoddle the users 'little head'which seem to be what does most of the thinking around here. Looks like the plan is working too.

Now that the community is lulled into oblivion again, Totem can get away with making more future fiascos like the one two weeks ago.

I see things going as two ways. Either the company is making money hand over fist with these promotions and the the vocal members on the forum are just a vocal minority or they are trying to ***** long members and drive the product out of business. Seeing a have seen team members bend over backwards to make things right and listen to user input, I really don't see option 2 happening. Wow just reading all these comments you would think they would get the hint about the event cards lol But I have to agree with my fellow members these event cards need to be special either by looks or something else. The star isn't really cutting it guys! plus being able to buy them after the event like one member mentioned would be nice as well, instead of these silly games of chance. I came here to watch girls and collect cards for my collection not gamble because I miss out on a card on a week that you had an event and I was busy. >_<

On a bright note the pre-ordering for the next month cards, I like it very much just like I miss the subcription option you use to have when I first came to iStripper.

No mention of more Leona Mia cards for April 😕😢, hopefully that's an oversight, looking for more skinny girls, or at least some fit/tight bodied ones.......

The scratch cards turned out okay for me in that I won about 5 special event cards, BUT, I have not been able to download any special event card. I won them by playing the game, so why can I not download them?

I honestly can't understand totem's angle. The only people who should get this deal are collectors, but they would buy it anyway and so totem loses like 70+ credits on every collector who buys the set...this could end up being hundreds of dollars. The card looks hot so everyone who would have bought it because she is talented can't spend money on it now...so hundreds of other people can't even buy it, but would never spend 300 credits for a whole month of unknown cards. So they might lose hundreds of dollars on a very popular card that people can't buy. The only thing I can imagine is this ***** people to reload if they are < 330...so this fills the coffers artificially, and they are expecting a really bad month of april and some real duds so they get the sales before people see the lineup and stop spending. I can't imagine there are that many people who are ALMOST collectors that would buy this just because of a 20% discount and 1 card.

To be fair there looks like there are lots of cards comming up that could be really good, judging by the showroom linked above. By looking at the news feed to see what models have been in the studion recently and going by whats listed as comming soon in the showroom looks like There is another annisa kate and ginebra benucci duo card that is yet to be released so that could well be done next month, looks like a game of thrones cos play card with bonnie inncoming at some point too, more stacy cruz and ava black and leona mia, yes please!! and oxana chic does not seem to have any more snakes with her. Probably gonna be more Hayli sanders and Stella flex as both of those have only just started their run of releases. And the return of Anna Polina

All in all next month looks pretty good !!

Not saying that these are defininitely definitely gonna be out next month this is complete and total speculation but that would be my forcast for the next month and i would say there was a decent chance of us getting cards from these models.

So weighing it up .....

For me 330cr for 30 cards 12 credits each and you know they are all gona be 3k cards as well so none of this slipping in of the low grade early cards that you always get with random selection offers and they are cheaper then you would normally pay.

Plus you get the special card without having to jump through some flaming hoops of death which might get you the card for free later but will probably end up costing you 300 credits anyway.

And i dont have to keep reloading my account, reload once hit button and i am done for the month see you next pay day.

I do believe I would have bought at least 4 of 5 cards of April releases, so this was an easy deal. Getting the cards I would have bought anyway for the price they are, some other cards I might not have purchased, within that 20% margin - and then also a special event card on top of that.

I don't actually support the policy of special event cards, but with this offer, it was an easy decision.

Thanks to my old PC dying a week and a few days ago, and me getting a new one, my new PC could easily handle VR, so I am a bit intrigued. I haven't studied anything about it though... where to find content, where to find equipment to use the VR etc.

Once I've got myself more acquainted with all that, I might purchase a headset and whatever other peripheral equipment one needs to use it.

It would be really nice if the staticProperties.xml file were periodically updated in the data folder. That way we would have easy access to a card's release date and a model's birthdate or, at least, year.
