@Carbo
They have taken something, now we have to pay resolution upgrade. In the beginning it was 720p, then 1080p came and then 3K.

In the store 3K cards are more expensive than 1080p and 1080p cost more than 720p so in essence you are paying more for the higher resolution cards.

Did you have to be Premium to download 3K ??

No but you had to pay more fore the 3K cards. In fact everybody has to pay more irrespective of whether or not they want 3K. Some people are happy with 1080p (and some even with 720p!) but they still have to pay the same price as people who are using 3K.

Then now to pay back their new 4K cameras and equipment, they just invented something new. Yes we've lost a lot since they introduced gambling, special event cards and now we have to pay for developments.

So yes theoretically the Premium membership is a cost increase if you want to view cards in 4K however in this case people who don't want or don't need 4K are not having to pay extra for the 4K resolution.

Added to the fact that you can get the discount on new cards, it can for some actually work out cheaper for 4K cards than 3K cards.

All users can benefit from this if they wish to. I think Totem have been more than fair with this premium offer.

I won't argue with collectors about that, but in my case I'm selective in buying shows, so much less than 60% of the shows, which means Premium would be mostly for 4K and I won't pay $60 a year (82 canadian dollars) for 4K.

I'm just Not sure!!
What I'm not sure is that I still have 156 credits left and I don't know what I'm gonna do after spending them.

This has Been Answered at least half a dozen times.
The Crystal Clear + cards in your Collection while you hold a Premium Membership
Remain yours to Watch, and re-download in 4K for as Long as there is an App from Totem to Play them.

I assume that if we buy this subscription and sownload 4k, that the 4k card resolutuion is ours to keep even if we decide not to renew the subscription??Can someone tell me what the difference is in t...
The Price of the Premium Membership Covers 1 Year of Membership, and it Will Automatically Renew at the End of the Year,
Unless you Cancel the Subscription before the renewal takes place.
Canceling it, Means Canceling the Automatic Renewal. It Does Not Prematurely end your Membership.
You Membership Last for a Full Year, Even if you Cancel the Renewal the Very Next Day.

Any Crystal Clear + in your Collection while you have an Active Membership, remains yours even After that Membership expires.

The Bonus Joker Card, Does not have an Expiration Date.
You can keep it and Use even after the Membership has expired.

Purchasing the Premium Membership is purely Voluntary.
There is no Penalty for NOT joining.

But there are Benefits for Joining.

Each Member has to Weigh the Cost of Membership, vs the Value of the Membership.

The Value will be Different to each Member, Depending on How Many Cards you Plan to buy during the Year.

If it's not a good Value to you. Don't Join. There is no Penalty for not joining.

Would anyone be surprised that if in 6 months or so 4k becomes available to everyone but with a 20-30% price increase?

As long as the special event cards remain locked behind timing barriers and silly gambling things, this isn't worth it. Make the special event cards purchasable, and it might be.

Would anyone be surprised that if in 6 months or so 4k becomes available to everyone but with a 20-30% price increase?

So what if they did?

Celine's original post only says that premium membership unlocks the 4k access, nothing about them being exclusive to premium members forever.

Those members who do the premium thing would still get to buy them at a discount just after they are released throughout the year and others will get to pay the 20-30% more you suggest if it happens.

What is wrong with that?

Sounds like good business sense to me.

It seems to me that some people here don't, can't or WON'T understand that it costs money to upgrade a product and to stay even close to industry standard. Higher resolution and sharper images are the standard so if Totem wants to stay current they have to invest in the new equipment to get it done. And it's more than just a new camera. There are new processing programs, higher end computers and training the staff use them, to name just a few parts of the process. Last time I checked that stuff wasn't free or even inexpensive but it seems like some of the members think that they should be able to benefit from the company's continuing investments without helping to defray the costs.

If the premium thing makes sense to your style of buying here then do it and reap the additional benefits you get from it. If the premium thing doesn't make sense for you then DON'T do it and you lose NOTHING you don't already have here.

@Z22 Na, couldn't happen in a yr or so

Why not? I haven't seen any T&C for the premium membership even though i asked nor anything stating that it will not happen. If one of the premium members could say if they clicked a T&C agreement for the premium membership or not, at least i would know if it even exists. If there isn't a T&C that explicitly states they won't do that then they can do whatever they want.

@muttonjeff , No one really knows for certain. We will just have to wait a year and then see if a person who has cancelled their premium membership can still view the cards dowmloaded in 4K.

You can trust and believe in what persons from @team or their minions say, Or not. That is entirely up to you.

I suppose your point stands though, it would take an clause in an agreement to solidify it.

While it makes sense that Totem is again offering a subscription ; I'm going to pass at least for now.

As far as 4K -

I have a computer with 2x 32" 4K monitors but I already have iStripper on the 2 computers I prefer to use with iStripper. I rarely view IS in full size in any case so 4K is not a big deal for me. I did test IS on my 4K 75" TV and it looked great so I imaging 4K would look even better.

As to the 20% discount -

I currently buy enough cards (70-80% of new releases) that I would be pretty close to breaking even or likely coming out ahead on credits.

As to the Joker -

If an offer comes along that includes a joker cards that I would buy regardless of the silly joker then I would accept it begrudgingly but I'm on the fence on the subscription so the joker is probably a negative for me.

As to the automatic renewal -

This was the deal breaker for me. I use subscriptions in my business and we bill clients monthly and I feel any smart business should so the same if the model fits. That said I don't want a porn company billing me automatically particularly one not in the US; at the very least with US based companies you can use prepaid Visa.

If I have no problem with the subscription add-on but it does ad to the growing complexity of the product. IS has too many pieces that I wont supports such exclusive cards, gambling games, advent calendars, joker cards, etc. The more they try to make me buy things I don't want the less motivated I am to purchase the things I do want. But as my interest in the product has been waning I do keep coming back. As annoying as it is at times I guess I'll keep coming back as long as Totem keeps coming up with beautiful girls and the product remains so inexpensive. I'll spend 4 times a much on morning coffee and the coffee is no where near as attractive so I will consider a subscription when it no longer automatically renews - OR allow the option to buy and auto renew with credits. I could live with a credit based auto renew setup.

Celine, it seems you only want to answer the technical questions here. I can't see answered any critical question or suggestion to include a buying option to special cards regarding this premium offer answered by the istripper Team.

Sure there will be some Guys who always support the site and pay any additional fee cause they just love istripper but if there is no really good benefit like above i rather get a 60$ yearly subscription at my favorite VR Site on black Friday and receive 1 year 48 hot Videos to download. Sure this is no perfect comparison but it shows what you get for this kind of money!

Im all for the premium offer helping to improve this product but I think i will pass at least for now for 3 reasons
1. I only ever download 720p (trying to maximize my 4tb external drive.)
2. Im already getting the triple diamond offer
3. I will support vr mode even if I don't get a discount
As Long as I get everything i do now Ill be fine but props to those that can do this and it helps them. :) Im all for making this product even better :)

@Doggylover - sure, for many paying 60 euro will not be worthwhile but there are at least several hundred of us (maybe many more) that can actually save 40 euro per year by subscribing.

My question is still unanswered.

20% discount on the new cards during the 10 days following their release,

Does this count for pre purchases like the advent calendar too?

It would make sense, because doing a preorder is like buying those cards at the day of release.

But as a Premium you still have the choice to buy or not, which is not the case for a pre-order. So I guess you'll still have to show your money for that.

For me it's not the question if I buy or not, I buy the cards anyway.
The question is if I do the preorder do I have to pay 13,75credits or 11credits for a card.

If that's the case, it means you would get all SECs associated with any pre-order at no extra cost. So you're right this question needs to be answered by the team.

You'll see I'm a long time member. I buy every card and support the product. But one of the reasons I support this product is because it is not a subscription service.

I personally prefer to keep my recurring monthly payments to the minimum necessary. So even though I'd reach the 8% overall savings during a year, Premium (subscription) membership isn't for me.

I'm also still disappointed that the list of unreachable cards keeps growing for me because I won't gamble.

I don't think it offers enough value for the price, currently. The best way to fix that would be to throw in ~400 credits per year for that price, in addition to the discount.

Oh yeah and a couple of egg rolls too. 😎 (extract from the excellent https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=frMz9s3OLwY )

@1VGconvert you can cancel the subscription 5 minutes after having subscribed. The benefit will last for one year and it will not be recurring.

In one year you will be able to choose to renew or not.

Just make sure to select a payment processor having a good online subscription management portal and that's two clicks away.

Triple Diamond Member who purchase every card
365 * 25 * .55 = 5018.75 credits to by every card with 45% discount.

with Premium Membership and additional 20%
365 * 25 * .55 *.8 = 4015 credits

savings of 1,003.25 credits in the Year.

if credits are purchased at 500 for $50 then each credit is $0.10

1,003.25 * 0.10 = $100.33

Subtract the cost of the Premium Membership
$100.33 - $60.00 = $40.33 saved for the year.

That doesn't include the 20% saving if you buy the VR video's
Or the Bonus of 4K clips
or ( till tomorrow the 25th ) the Joker Card.

(4015 credits + 600 credits ) / 13.75 = 335 cards

if you Buy 335 cards without the premuim Membership,
then you are loosing money by not having bought the Premium membership.

335 cards at 13.75 = Membership + 365 cards at 11 credits
It's like getting 30 cards for free.

It's like getting 30 cards for free.

Then why the heck don't they just make it as simple as that?

30 cards free is about 1 free card for every 12 cards. This is why I think it would be better to have a promotion like a "Baker's Dozen": One free card for every 12 cards you buy.

Or better yet, have one "Special Edition" card every month that is unlocked on the 15th of the month. If you buy 12 or more cards from that month, you get the "Special Edition" card added to your collection for free. The "Special Edition" card stays available until the 14th of the following month, after which it's only available for purchase as a premium card - or even with a Joker.

That would feel much better than this PREMIUM membership stuff, for sure. Most members would be OK with that, I think - and it would prevent all the complaints about the "Special Event" cards that can't be accessed.

Mind you, you could still have other promotions to WIN the card if you wish - that way, there would be multiple ways to get the "Special Edition" cards in the collection (12 per year).

I would have to agree. The special events cards should be available to premium users after the event. I only found out I was a few days out from getting the joker card as well after I signed up. Not being able to get the card I want is pretty annoying. I am a diamond member thinking I have access to what istrippers has to offer. I also wanted the Skye Blue - Bend To My Will card. It is the only card I do not own of her. I did a bunch of the game that is going on right now and have not obtained any special event cards. I spent a good bit of credits hoping to get one last night. But no luck and since I not able to get skye because now I find out she is not part of this game kind of bums me out. Would be nice to have some info on the event cards and how to get them but it's not clear.

I am quite happy of my premium membership.
And I for sure won't ask the SECs to be buyable by Premium members (even if I would appreciate such a thing).
But, in my opinion, a Joker card should be always part of the Premium offer: a Joker card for each year of subscription (it was given, instead, only as a promo to members who suscribed to Premium during first weeks after release of offer).
Joker card - as the 20% discount for the first ten days on new cards' release - was one of main reasons I joined Premium membership. So, if next year another Joker card will not be offered to us, I would not be sure to renew my Premium subscription.
