Lately we have many XXX Cards again...😐

So far in 2019 - it still remains about 60 / 40 which is about the overall average since the XXX product was introduced.
I don't see a significant change in the overall non-XXX vs XXX ratio.

2019 - 296 cards
168 iStripper = 56.8%
128 iStripperXXX = 43.2 %

Using the Release Date and Collections filters on my collection (which is complete) I find the following

2019 - 296 cards, 168 iStripper 56.8%, 128 iStripperXXX 43.2%
2018 - 358 cards, 214 iStripper 59.8%, 144 iStripperXXX 40.2%
2017 - 359 cards, 266 iStripper 74.1%, 93 iStripper XXX 25.9%

So there has been a significant, though not large, swing towards XXX this year when compared to last year (which may even out in the next two months) but a large swing when compared to 2017 when only 1 card in four was a XXX card.

I understand that reading may be very difficult in the first quarter of the twenty-first century, but seven out of the last ten cards released being of the triple X variety does add validity to the 'Lately' part of the statement..

And, in my opinion, no one should ***** about it, since the slightly increase of XXX cards number is more than compensated by the huge reduction in XXX clips number in each XXX card which we had to see in last two years - so, the recent XXX content yearly made overall available on the program still is much less than the one we had in 2017.

When a XXX card comes out I buy it if 1. I like the girl and 2. I like the outfit. Always delete the dildo clips, to me they are boring. If I want to see girls using a dildo on themselves I look elsewhere. Seems the more interesting outfits are the XXX variety

By the way, after weeks in which the opposite situation happened (as in week 9/30 - 10/4) and more "plain" cards than XXX ones were released, I did not see ***** from XXX lovers.

Yes. My XXX clips don't play very often.

And there is the crux. The new XXX cards are a compromise between regular cards and the old deskbabes style of XXX. If the ratio of XXX cards is growing, then that sounds like the compromise is finding success.

I instead buy way more plain cards than I really want: since, in my opinion, all cards should have at least one XXX clip. But I don't use to ***** about that, since I know that Totem has to try pleasing all tastes.

The XXX card lovers find the reg cards "boring" because they are fluff; and the reg card lovers find the XXX cards "boring" because they are repetitve. What I find "boring" is all this unnecessary whining. God help me, I sound like my mother.

Who is whining? We’re expressing our opinion. I still buy the cards I want Whether XXX or not. I’m allowed to critique the cards if I choose. Easy brother. Variety is the spice of life.

I'm not a fan of XXX cards and don't buy them. There are enough crude displays of female anatomy on the pornographic internet that we don't need it here. IStripper is a very rare institution where really beautiful models can be seen stripping and dancing for its own sake. I would like to think a girl was dancing to entertain me rather than just sitting down to pleasure herself.
I don't think I'm old fashioned. Its just a question of taste, class, and style. And I do prefer those few clips that start out standing full naked. Then again, that's just me.

Exactly. The true XXX(deskbabes) of yesteryear only had sitting clips and I ***** that. Really loving theses hybrid cards.

It's true there are many XXX shows lately,but the real xxx clips are only a few as you can see in these screenshots..
And this is the same for many of the latest XXX shows...
Compared to Marina XXX show , now there are more XXX shows but as you can see a lot less XXX clips..

It is a matter of taste - for me, and at least some others, it would indeed "*****" in that they would replace the type of clips that I really like. I actually would appreciate it if there were fewer nude, fully nude and XXX clips but I assume I am part of a minority in this view.

when you have seen them you buy or do not by the show...

That means that Totem would have to do more work. As the previews are made anyway (and do not require any extra filming) including them is essentially free. Longer shows would not be free.

okay ..that's a possibility indeed..
I was thinking instead of 3 or 4 short clips make 2 longer ones while the model is there anyway...
But you are probably right..

@R2D34ever2 - Totem do not film each clip seperately, they film a smaller number of full stripteases and cut them up into clips. The previews are just particularly short clips taken from the longer performances.
