Number6 said it right for me. When I watch a porn movie with one of the girls, I love to let them dance in front of it. It reminds me of this old italian porn cinemas with live strip during breaks.

Well it started out of curiousity and because of the free card i could get by then. Not sure if only demos would have gotten me into buying cards but that full show surely did. (It was Morgane-Flashy Babe btw) I actually use IStripper rarely in just a casual way having them dancing while i do something else on my computer. When i use it i concentrate on the show. And i watch the full show with all clips in order then. For that i have my own software addon, that allows me to control which clips iStripper plays.
In 2008 and the following years it also was about being a part of the community that kept me here. Greetings to all the friends i met here either temporarily or permantly. I looked for a role in that community and found it at first by sorting out all the nude replacement cards that were scattered in the forum and making them available for download in a zip file. Later i created my own cards with the help of some other community members. (i have to mention @alerte here, who even provided a webspace for me)
And a few years later i started my software addon as a way to learn some Java and doing it in a way that produces something useful. Here i have to mention @wyldanimal who helped me a LOT with understanding how to read and work with the local data files as he was to my knowledge the first one to make a software addon for VGHD to control which clips to play.
So IStripper always was about the community for me. I am not sure if i have ever seen even half of the shows i own. In the times i made the replacement cards i needed the shows to have access to the photos to make the cards. Of course it also was and is a bit of an obsession to have all the cards... though since iStripper started and the subscription model was cancelled i have started to pick and choose my cards again(also did that for a while before i subscribed). Still i own far more than i can watch.
The community aspect has become less relevant in the last few years. I have mostly retreated from the forum. I have stopped that replacement card thing (7 cards a week were just too much for my schedule and it was out of question for me to just make cards for just a few shows)
Mainly i use iStripper these days to review 2 or 3 of the latest shows with my friend @zebrazuk every saturday using ICQ to communicate while we watch the full shows.

Thank you Starryk for your post, I have missed them.

For me my what got me involved in iStripper was many years before this forum was created and that is the case for a number of members here.

It goes back to the VGHD (original release) and it didn't have a number.

I stumbled across a forum called Super Virtua Girl and I joined that forum. Over the years I developed a number of friendships both within and outside of the Totem team, so for me my continued involvement is trying to give some payback for all those good times.

To celebrate friendships with old friends, welcome new ones and remember old comrades who for one reason or another no longer contribute

In the times i made the replacement cards i needed the shows to have access to the photos to make the cards.

When I was making my first comic, I had to do the same thing with Miela. She was naturally the star of the show, following on from Paints' comic. I also added all but one of Anna Tatu's cards for the same reason.

So, apart from just buying and downloading shows anonymously (as I did for my first year here before taking a break), in 2013, I checked out this forum and was completely hooked. I've made many friends here from all over the world and this community has kept me coming back.

It's a place where we can share almost anything, learn new stuff, be inspired to do something we might never have thought about before and share it all with like-minded people. Not to mention discussing all of the beauties we can find here...

I've made Fullscreen scenes, learned more about coding, learned a little about shaders, made skins and shared artwork. I don't know of any other place to do all that AND have so much fun doing it. 😊

I'm a life-long member as long as this community sticks around. Around the middle of last year, for reasons I won't bore people with (no, not in jail. More like purgatory...) I had no access to the forum for about 3 months. The withdrawal symptoms were pretty severe! 😧 All is good now 😎

When I get home from work, I boot my PC and immediately open iStripper to check the latest previews. I watch that or them with my first beer of the evening then open the forum to catch up. It's just my daily routine that never gets boring 😉

Long live Totem and iStripper!

This sounds very familiar and it is something I miss from last year... I joined this site only about 11 months ago and I have now accumulated every card from the back catalogue that I am interested in, and I can only look forward to the cards to come.

I have enjoyed and do enjoy just about every card I have purchased, but I wish I hadn't been such a glutton 😆 I wish there was still lots of uncharted territory here for me to rummage.

My Courtship with Totem started back in the late 80's I believe.
I was on AOL at the time and I got a "You Got Mail" notification.
In it was a tiny Santa Stripper
I sent that to my wife, and she sent to every girlfriend she had...
I soon discovered there was a Female version
and that there were also many other strippers I could add.
The Start of VG the Original.

These were tiny, not even an Inch tall in the lower corner of Windows. by the Clock.
If you used the Magnifier, you could see them 2x the Size... Woo hoo...
I bought them all...
I even ordered the post cards and wallpapers, and there were CD's you could get.

Downloading over Dial up was Slow... But the files were small. Still took 10 to 15 minutes per download.
Later was VG2 and then Strip Saver, and Strip Saver 2

Who remembers Bunny Love?

LISA, I Love You ! "You Got Mail"
I loved Lisa.. Looked forward to every e-mail from her.
I don't know who Lisa was / is, but she always brought a big smile to my face.

Back then, the files were easy to create a stand alone player for them...
I could pick out any one, and watch that one...

Someone also built a compiler.
You could take frames from a movie, make an Animated transparent GIF, and then Package it up to work with VG, VG2, and StripSaver.

Your Own dancers, strippers on your Desktop.

In the Middle of StripSaver 2, I had a HDD crash, and I lost all of it...
I did recover some, but the Servers to re-download VG were gone, and I only recovered a small portion...
I left for a while...

Came back in 2008, discovered the Forum and the Community, and the Affiliate program...
StripSaver 2 had Grown into VGHD.

I was enjoying all the HD girls, Lisa was back.
But there was no way to pick out what you wanted to watch..
there had to be a way....

I discovered the registry value that got updated every time a card played...
So I wrote a bit of code to display them when they changed...
And Watched the animation as it played...
There has to be some code, the Numbers must have meaning...
Clip after clip, I made notes what I saw, and what the numbers were...
I broke the code...
Now to Figure out how to use the codes....

I got it... make an inventory ( I used the DOS Directory command. Sent the Output to a Text File, then Filtered the Text file to
extract the folder and Clip filenames.)
Now I had a list of every VGHD file and where is was...
Pick one, and Store it in the registry...
Bingo.. My First Clip player...

What if I wrote an associative program, assigned that to the .vghd and .demo extension.
So that if you Double click on a file name that ends in .vghd or .demo, my program is called up to handle that file type.

Grab the Location and name of the file.
push it to the registry.
I could also grab the card image from the data folder and display that.

I could also make a list of my favorite clips, and then play them in Sequence or in Random order.
I had my own clip player, and Favorite list player..

VGHD was Great ! my Own Private Strip club and I was the Director...

reading the forums, I saw a few members who wanted a similar way to control the cards...

But that was not the intended design of VGHD. Randomness was by design....

Hey, I could make a fortune from my software I created...
I polished up the front end, added a few features
and Contacted the team through the Affilate E-mail.

I heard back from Herve
I couldn't Sell it... but I could let members use it for Free...
So I got the Green Light to release it to the Members...
ok, they can use it for free, I'll just ask for Donations....
People will be honest, and if they like it, they will donate...

Wow Look at those Download Stats... In the 1st month I had 2 million downloads...
A year later, I had all of about 10 donations... 11 million downloads and about $150 in donations.

In that Year my affiliate site started to take off...
It was doing well. Getting lots of traffic... I was number 3, or 5 on the search engines, Not the top, but on the 1st page of Google

Then some Russian Hacker found a way to infect computers with a cookie hijacker, the code would find and replace affiliate codes in the cookies with his own codes.
if your computer was *****, then when you visited an affiliate site, the code replaced your site identifier with his.
it affected many porn sites. This Hacker was getting credit for all of my traffic.

all the traffic visiting your Site, now became his traffic...
My revenues almost dropped to zero...

But it never was about the money... it was about the Beautiful Women, the Team, and the members here....
and it still is about the Beautiful Girls, the Team and the members...
All part of an Extended family...

I'm still here, because of, all of you.

I enjoy my collection mostly through Scenes - One to three dancers at a time...

Sometimes I'll have clips playing in small ( 10% to 20% ) size.... One Girl
down in the corner... Just like the 1st Original VG program.

Mandy,
The first ever VirtuaGirl. Sorry but I thought that I had a stand alone photo that was given to me from the team, as an official photo set was never released, but if i was given said photo, I can't find it now. 😕

My first encounter with Totem and VirtuaGirl was in the early 2000 with VG2 but if wasn't until fall 2007 that I really got hooked when I joined the early beta testing of VGHD. Since then the ladies dancing on my desktop has been like long time companions. I mainly use iStripper as a "distraction" on screen and have even a separate screen on my desk that I use as a TV / Monitor... The image is taken today =)

I used to buy all the cards released most weeks until the cards started becoming too repetitive and I have not purchased any cards in the last 7 or 8 months.

It's still a good product and I still look at the cards I own from time to time, more the older ones than the new ones as there was more fun in the production of the shows back then then I find these days.

I keep checking back and downloading a few previews every few weeks or so but I don't think I will become a paying customer again.

Cheers.

Here in the Southern United States, we Southern Gentleman love our bourbon, almost all of which is made in the state of Kentucky. My current choice is Evan Williams Cherry. Before that I had a bottle of the bonded bourbon which is also very good.

Last night while watching iStripper I had a personal record of 12 shots. I alternated between 2 shots over ice with no mixer and 2 shots wtih scome Coca-Cola mix. Perish the thought of what that would have cost in a club. Maybe a few more tonight, since I'm off work tomorrow.

I think fire extinguishers are massively under rated. They are always in a convenient location for any type of use, like duct tape :P

Hello,

There are a variety of reasons I like Istripper.
  • Love the variety of different shapes and sizes of women.
  • Like playing music while the models dance.
  • I like natural looking women. I especially like women with smaller to mid-sized breasts. This site has a variety of women who fall into this catagory, not to say I don't enjoy women of different sizes and shapes. (examples are Gloria, Viola, Tania R)
  • I love seeing women in sexy outfits. Sometimes I get more turned on when a model is dancing around in an outfit more than when she is completely naked. List of turn ons: Jeans, shorts, lingerie, when a woman wears a hat, latex, costumes, and tights. I wish there were a wider variety of cosutmes and I wish the women would wear yoga pants/colorful tights.
  • I dislike hard core porn
  • I love watching women dance. Adding the element of removing clothes is a hot bonus.
  • I enjoy watching women masturbate. I have bought a selection of the masturbation videos. I prefer it when they finger themselves over using a toy. Nothing hotter when you notice the girl isn't faking and really gets off.
  • I like collecting the cards
  • I manly watch during the weekends or when I'm working on a project.
  • Sometimes I will turn Istripper on after work on Friday, I never have more than three dancers on. I will remove my clothing. During the weekend while I'm working on projects I will: line up the dancers I like, watch a full show of a card/model I'm drawn too, I will search for new cards, let the system pick what is up next, and will record which preveiws I like in a spreadsheet; keeping them in a best of order. I do this so when I want to purchase new cards I can easily select them (this is organized by model and card). I remain nude until I "finish" without ever using my hands. If I have not finished hands free, I will pick a favorite card or model I had over the weekend and "finish" myself off with that card late Sunday night.
  • love how the models tease

My top eight favorite models: Jenni Gregg, Bella, Nami Nevena, Mia Solls, Anna Tatu, Tania R, Kristina, Zazie Shymm.
My blue ribbon models: Belica, Emma Brown, Gloria, Hillary C, Izzy, Kami, Lucie O, Monica Sweet, Nekane, Sybil.
My Red Ribbon favorites: Candy Sweet, Cindy Dollar, Gracy-*****, Heidi Romanova, Jayden Cole, Kami, Melisa, Merry Pie, Mila I, Nathaly Cherie, Sapphia A, Tina Kay, Valeria, Viola.

Keep up the good work.

I have two 55' Monitors, one for my work laptop, and one for the personal laptop.
Since I work from home, I have iStripper playing on the personal 55' to take the edge off of work.
Best purchase ever!

I guess one of the main reasons I use Istripper is because I don't really get into the hardcore stuff anymore. More so when they feel obliged to show you as much as possible.

I love iStripper. I used to spend a ridiculous amount of money in strip clubs, so when I saw the ad for “girls dancing on your desktop” I thought it was worth checking out, but I had no illusions that it would replace my expensive habit. That was in 2012, and I have not stepped foot in a strip club since.

Sure, the girls are not right in front of me in the flesh, but I cannot choose what girls might be working at the local club. With iStripper, I hire the girls, and I make the work schedule, and I choose who dances next. And what girls! Totem offers me such an abundance of beautiful women to choose from, and constantly introduces me to new girls, eager to dance for me. The use of the program is FREE, and the one time price to “own” a girl is so reasonable that even if I bought all of them it would not equal a fraction of what I spent on gentlemen’s clubs.

Totem not only adds new girls regularly, but also never stops trying to improve and update the program. Better resolution, interactive girls, a virtual strip club in fullscreen, and the new easy to use operating system. They offer me previews, sample pictures, videos, and other users’ reviews and opinions to help me choose which girls to buy.

I love the “interactive” girls (in small size) so much, that they are constantly dancing at the bottom of my monitor. I change the size and number of the girls to fit with what I am doing on the computer or simply to fit my whimsy. Whenever I get the desire to go to a club, I activate the fullscreen and have my own club with just me and the girls of my choosing dancing for my pleasure.

Totem can’t customize their product precisely to my tastes, but they would have to create 2 million versions to please everyone, completely. The Totem team, Rex, the photographers, the people who make the forum what it is, and the volunteers who moderate it; all work to bring me the best product that they can.

No other program or product on the internet delivers so precisely what they say they are offering. For my money this is one of my favorite hobbies/entertainment from the digital universe, and I can only say: Thank you! I love iStripper.
