Discounts are quoted by Totem as percentages.

45% for Triple Diamond and a further 20% for a premium member.

They said nothing about this being a fixed number of credits.

It would be financial ***** for Totem to state that prices of cards will be fixed. Costs go up and if Totem can't occasionally raise their prices to match those costs then they will fail as a business.

IMHO that is why we are seeing more gambling, SECs and the like. It is a way for Totem to earn extra revenue without generally increasing the price of cards which would generally be unpopular. Personally I do not object to paying a few extra credits here and there for a card that has some novel content e.g. the Jia Lissa and Kaisa Nord cards. Personally I found Jia's singing and playing enjoyable and they show her sense of fun. As for Kaisa's card - I will never be able to look at a milk bottle in the same way ever again.

@ckvghduser - The extra discount that premium members get is only 10%, not 20%. It will have been applied to the Jia Lissa card in question, but that card had a higher non-discounted price than run of the mill cards hence a higher price after the discount is applied.

SEC = Special Event card.

SEC in this place means Special Event Card.

@gkar45 I don't want the Advent Calendar and I realize the 10 day period after release was for the Premium members (which I am) to get the 20% discount. Why isn't the Jia Lissa card the same discount as the others?

Did I miss the notice when Totem was marketing the Premium membership that not all of the card would have the 20% discount? I swear, Totem. How about a little integrity on how you run your business? You might as well be selling used cards or being politicians.

The Software Plays each clip using it's encoded resolution.
If you Have the Zoom setting to 60%, that is 60% of your Screen.

So 720p clips are scaled to 60% of your Screen, 3K clips are scaled to 60% of your Screen, 4K clips are scaled to 60% of your Screen.

A mix of 720p and 4K clips Doesn;t mean that 720p is small and 4K is Huge...

Each clip is scaled the the same screen %

And No, individual clip resolution is NOT displayed anywhere.

What is shown as the Cards resolution is the LAST resolution it was Downloaded in..
if you download 720p 1st, and then 4K last, the Card will Show as being in 4K
Even if you Mix in some 720p clips.

From my Experience, a Mixed card will be..

1080p standing, and 720p table

3K standing and 1080p table or 720p table

4K standing and 3K table or 1080p table

I doubt there would be a need for any other type of Mixed cards..

It is the Table clips that seem to need the Most CPU power..
So in General Only the Table clips would be at the reduced Resolution..

Jia's card is oustanding. So Kaisa's one is.
I would of course not support a global price raise here, but I find a small price increase for a little number of particularly interesting cards - and these two ones surely are - to be fine.
I too, by the way, don't like Exclusive cards, gambling and so; but we have to accept that thanks to them the product is becoming more sustainable for the company, and also thanks to them they are emproving the product quite a lot: recently we got a better cam, 4K, VR, better models (more beautiful and more skilful). And there are more ways to get the Exclusive cards, now, too.
That said - yes: I buy all I want. And since I have Premium membership and I bought Advent calender, I also did get Jia's card for just 11 credits. And, by the way, one can even wait for cashback offers, in order to even get such priced cards without spending anything...

The only way I know of is by reading the file size of the clip. This is of course guesswork, judging by the length of the clip against the others in the folder. Takes a little maths to figure out.

Ecah clip is encrypted with it's resolution so the player knows what resolution that clip is.

As I wrote you only can see the result on the screen and therefore guess the current clip resolution, i.e. current used card resolution 1080p with a 3K swing set clip, the girl swings thrue the bottom and then you know, thats a higher resolution clip. You can't see the resolution of the clip anywhere. Or am I missing something?

This is actually a very useful idea that, as WA has shown can make the clips play better for a lot of people with lower powered equipment. Sticky???

you can mix and match different clips from different resolutions in the same Models folder.
Ecah clip is encrypted with it's resolution so the player knows what resolution that clip is.

But you don't have a user friendly way to selectively download the clips in the desired resolution.

on my home lap top I can play the standing clips in 1080p, but the table clips stutter just a bit in 1080p
so I use the table clips in 720p

I download 1st in 720p, rename the folder, then download in 1080p
from the 720p renamed folder I copy the table clips and add them to the 1080p folder which has not been renamed.

Now I have my Mix of 1080p standing clips and 720p table clips.

Cards that have a slight increase in price are few and far between. It may be that Totem had to invest more than usual in a particular outfit, or as these latest two cards show, there was something different from the normal run. These cards become 'SPECIAL' because they are in some way different.

So. Would you rather pay a little extra for something novel and unique or have Totem make these type of unique cards... WAIT FOR IT... SEC cards?

I have just copied some (3K swing) clips in the active 1024p set now playing. It works! The poor gal is swinging into the bottom of my screen! 😆
That means, the higher resolution will not reverted to the current used resolution.

Regarding the people listed or not listed in the members list:
I am aware that there are some people with zero forum presence however it is hard for me to imagine, that for a people who actively uses, regularly buys for months and months or even years, never had any issue or opinion or anything that would lead for at least one forum comment. You just buy and buy regularly and everything is fine, always satisfied, never a problem, and idea, nothing to say, ever... doesn't sound too realistic to me. It's not possible, because the file names are exactly the same in any resolution. In addition to that the two files yxxxx.vhdshows and yxxxx.vhdtrailers are containing the used resolution of that file set.
I handle that by renaming the card in question, from which I have a download in every possible resolution. 😎 See picture.

@Mugsy Jia plays the ukulele and sings in four clips, if that ain't worth the few extra credits I don't know what is! It's f#@cking magical and well worth every penny to me. To my knowledge, this is unique in iStripper, and it is wonderful.

You should try Veronica Leal's or Melena's, Li Moon's or the Red Foxés shows..

To be honest my favourite is Jia Lissa but Li Moon, Red Fox and Veronica Leal are pretty good too.

There was thread related to the VR show which I and @hoardx both posted on because we couldn't find the VR video. We were eventually advised it had been removed and the Forum thread has since disappeared - along with the relevant posts showing that it cannot be seen in the VR list. I only got my VR headset a couple of weeks ago so have only purchased the VR shows recently.

264 credits = 24 shows x 11 credits each

@hanssachs Been here a decade. I know. And now we're two in a week and special events at increasing frequency. The director explained there was added cost around the milk for Kaisa Nord. Nada this time.

By all means, buy it all. It's your right. I won't. It took a decade for EA to experience a backlash about loot boxification. It mystifies me that subscribers keep coming to the forum to write comments in support of higher prices or gambling, even though I fully understand Totem's motivations in this matter.

This is just the metastases of the Special Events cancer.

This card has nothing to do with a Special Event, so no Special Event Card.
And other cards are more expensive too, like Kaisa Nord f0586.
