and I see that the clips definitely are bigger than those with a lesser resolution (and therefore can leave the border on top (i.e. pole dance) or bottom (swing clips)) then this statement is simply wrong. It's NOT scaled to the same screen %.
And because you confirm my observations on it I don't need to produce an example screenshot of this issue, I have told and offered that to @WA in a PM. But if you wish, I can do it anyway, I have to select another card set and download the higher resolution because my seftests are based on an withdrawn card set and pics are no longer allowed here.
If it works for you then all is fine, I never use this possibility of resolution-mix.😉

P.S. You can, btw, say, that the clip is scaled by the same zoom factor % but not to the same screen %. 😀

I've never had a problem editing Totem's pics either. And I've done thousands. I can only imagine that it's a problem with an anti-virus or other protection software. Try disabling your firewall and anti-virus software and/or whitelist everything from Totem.

When purchasing a card, the only thing I look for is the discounted price. That tells me all I need to know about the calculations used. The cards where the prices was bumped up was usually obvious like you stated. These last two took me by surprise because I saw no obvious reason for the higher price. They also came so close together and I didn't expect that.

BTW: I am sure classic collection was included sometimes in the past. I got some classic cards through TGIF. Never bought any of them without promotion.
I also believe to remember a few months ago there was a 40% discount on classic cards through TGIF?!

I've just downloaded this file using the GUI like you and I can do everything with it. There's no copy protection.
I'm using iStripper 1.2.240 with Windows 10 1909 64 bits edition.

The easiest way is to add either an additional HDD to your PC either as an internal drive, if you have space or as an external drive in a HDD caddy if you do not cna connect it to your PC.

The once the drive is formatted and assigned a drive letter, you can do as gkar45 says and modify your settings in the settings for data to point to the new drive location.

@ckvghduser - there have long been occasional cards that have higher than normal base prices. Sometimes this increase in price is for obvious reasons, such as last February's Anissa Kate & Ginebra Bellucci / Mean Streak (it was a duo card) and sometimes it is for less obvious reasons such as Nancy A / Wicked Witch or Estonika / Gotham City / Erotic Parody (which involved special costumes). For the most part these have been featured on the News page and the increased price mentioned there but I can't remember if that has previously always been the case and it does not seem to have happened for these two recent cards. However, when you are about to buy a card you are given the nominal price and and then how much it will be after your discounts have been applied - though this is easy to miss when you have decided to buy a card. (Maybe you don't get to see the base and discounted prices if you are using the "one click purchase" option - I don't use that so I don't know).

Okay, after this discussion, the only thing that was unclear to me was that some of the cards were going to have an increase on their base price. This happened to coincide with the Premium membership offer. Maybe I missed it, but I wasn't aware these increases on some of the cards was coming. So, I wondered why some of the cards (Jia Lissa and Kaisa Norda) did not appear to be discounted on the new Premium Membership. They were discounted, but the discount was, for all intents and purposes, negated by the higher price when I was looking at the final price.

My PC hard drive is too small to contain my full collection.

@HansSachs No, thats not the point. Because there isn't a cause to zoom (and I have never unchecked this setting). It's simple as it is, the 3K clip is shown on a 1080p with it's original size, simple to big. Have you tested this for yourself?

I use a program called paint.net which is free if you d/l from their website. (www.getpaint.net)

It is pretty user friendly for me and does all I need it to do.

Additionally, I have also gone to the card page for the girl I want and then browse her photos and pick one from there sometimes. The photos can be d/l and saved individually to a location of your choosing.

I have never had a problem with rights management where modifying the photos is concerned and I have done a couple hundred of them so far.

@TheEmu Yes I have done that. But weirdly when i open properties again it is there the same way. It's quite frustrating really. Why only the files from here? Certainly makes you wonder. If I ever get a solution I will definitely post it for others to learn from it.

@NotyaBusiness - I see from the second image that the properties for the file show "This file came from another computer and might be blocked to help protect this computer" and that you have ticked the Unblock box - but have you also clicked Apply? I am groping in the dark a bit here as I have not seen this sort of problem before, and don't use OneDrive.

@TheEmu - I clicked the little floppy disk icon on the photo. It came down as a single file, no zip. I can't post photos here but I will try to link two screne shot I just made.

While @HombreSinSombre was kind enough to send me a cropped version I still am trying to find a solution. I have three photos downloaded from iStripper and all three has the same issue while every other photos in the same folder can be edited easily.

I start to think that I am doing something wrong and hopefully with you'all help I can sort it out.

@NotyaBusiness - I have occassionally had similar problems with read/write/ownership permissions on files extracted from zip files, though not with the iStripper image zips (I assume that you are extracting the images from the downloaded zip and not trying to edit them while still in the zip file) and have side-stepped the issue by making a copy of the file and editing that. Alternatively try "save as" to create a new file rather than just "save" which will try to overwrite the original.

@Dfner I don't have PS installed now I just use a simple tool like the Windows Photos App. This never been an issue before so I will download it again to a different folder in a different name and have a go at it. I'll let you know. Thanks!

Totem did explain it to you, they said that as a premium member you get an extra discount and that is exactly what we got for the Jia Lissa card in question. The card was more expensive for everyone, as a premium member you could get it cheaper than if you were not a premium member.

There's no discount offered for you on this card? What is the price for you? I'm with you on this, if Totem advertises a perk as part of the Premium membership, they need to universally apply those perks to the entire scope of that memebership, to include "special" cards or escalated "priority" customer service... whichever the case may be. Anything is misleading false advertising.

@ckvghduser - But you do get the discount on every one of the seven cards released each week. Most of them ahve a nominal price of 25 credits but some of them have a nomimal price of 30 credits. If you do not have a premium membership you pay this nominal price reduced by whatever discount your membership level (bronze, silver, gold, platimum. diamond. double diamond or triple diamond) entiles you to and if you have bought into the premium membership you get 10% extra if you buy in the first 10 days. This was true for the Jia Lissa card - you qualified for the extra 10% discount and, if you bought the card, you should have recieved that discount. Why do you think that all newlt released cards should have the same nominal price? That has never been the case, there have always been some that have been priced a little bit over the normal cost of a card.

And No, individual clip resolution is NOT displayed anywhere.

What is shown as the Cards resolution is the LAST resolution it was Downloaded in..
if you download 720p 1st, and then 4K last, the Card will Show as being in 4K
Even if you Mix in some 720p clips.

From my Experience, a Mixed card will be..

1080p standing, and 720p table

3K standing and 1080p table or 720p table

4K standing and 3K table or 1080p table

I doubt there would be a need for any other type of Mixed cards..

It is the Table clips that seem to need the Most CPU power..
So in General Only the Table clips would be at the reduced Resolution..

And again, in my self tested example yesterday thats not true. As I wrote the higher resolution clip was not scaled to the current screen size (testet in full 100% mode) . The higher resolution clip goes beyond the edge of the screen. No rescaling in that clips. But I think everyone can test it for themselves. 😉

Yes, I plan to update my database application. About 3 moths ago I was about 80% finished with a major improvements. Since then I've been so deep into paying work that I haven't had time to finish. I plan to do this over the holiday period.

I just downloaded the gallery and opened this photo in Paintshop Pro. No problems whatsoever in editing and saving the photo as edited.

Maybe you should download the photo again and just in case copy the photo to some other file name before trying to edit it(?) That way there shouldn't be any open processes locking the photo(name) from changes.

Looks fine on my PC... Most images have a white space arround the girl..

Hello everyone.

I have downloaded three photos from Kristina's gallery. One of them badly needs cropping since the top half of the shot is just a white mush, her beautiful face isn't centered at all.

It's for my windows wallpaper slideshow.

Now that is usually not a problem. I know how to crop a pic. Problem is that some kind of security voodoo keeps the file "read only". I've done all the usual magic spells, like unsetting read only on the file, changing admin persmission, but the file remains uneditable. I have worked with photos in my whole life but never met this issue before.

Please note it is not a windows related problem. The other files - not from here -in the very same folder can be edited and saved just fine.

Now if it is a copyright related enchantment on the photos then is it possible to have the shots cropped?

Any useful info would be appreciated.

@Dorsai6 Since iStripper changed formatting of models.lst a while ago, it meant that your excellent MS Access playlist generator stopped working with new data. I still have it and my collection is in it up to the "breaking point", but hundreds of shows that I have purchased since last spring can't be uploaded and worked with.

Are you perhaps planning on updating your tool to work with new models.lst-file?

After learning the basics of Hexadecimal structure of .vpl-files (thanks to your and Wyldanimal's previous posts) I just managed to make a little excel-utility of my own to create playlists for these "attention craving"-clips this thread was created for... 1) I search .demo- and .vghd files with string "_it01_" and save list to a file -->2) I paste the list of file names in MS Excel, where set of formulas check the number of entries and count the bytes of filenames and create one continuous textstring of hex-code, which I then paste into a free "HxD Hex Editor" I downloaded earlier today, and save as .vpl.

With no coding or programming history, I hit my head on a brick wall a few times before I got through... :)

So, my "attention craving" clip playlists are now up to date, and iStripper software accepts them nicely, but I really miss the ability to add my own clip-level tags and creating playlists using that criteria...

In case you decide to make an updated version of your playlist generator, and need "beta testers" again, please let me know (I'm using new Access version in MS Office 2016 suite).

IMHO that is why we are seeing more gambling, SECs and the like. It is a way for Totem to earn extra revenue without generally increasing the price of cards which would generally be unpopular.

This is a very good analyse and summary of Totem's way of business.

Don't worry @HombreSinSombra there's a ton of wonderful models still there for your creativity 😉
