Would love to buy the pre-order if only we had a slight hint of what girls will be released. Maybe a couple of names? In the last 25 cards realeased (July) I've only found 6 of them attractive enough to consider buying. If it's going to be the same for August, I would much rather spend my Joker card on the SEC and buy the few attractive girls individually. However, if there was a little preview of some of the girls that will be coming, and I find them to be my taste, I would be willing to take a leap of faith and pre-order.

Wish I could take part in this but saving girls to wish list to get 250 and 500 in one day achievements. I am pretty picky so it could be some years before I purchase more girls. Maybe when I get my 20 year achievement. 😊

@Shadow24 - you are right, when I first calculated the cost without the premium discount I accidently used a wrong value for the card price, 13.75 credits instead of 13.25, which made it look like something else was going on. Using the correct non-premium price makes it clear that it was simply that the Premium discount has not been applied.

I was adding an update to my previous post but was prevented from doing so by an intervening post. I think that when I used the Pre-Order option it may have included the last few cards of July as well as those for August. Not a problem for me if this is the explanation.

Few days ago I had disk failure. On that disk I had it installed, but models are on external disk.
I managed to copy some files from "data" folder, reinstalled program on different drive and applied those files I copied.
However, I lost information which show was deactivated and also all shows, that I have downloaded, what to be updated.

Why those want to be updated? Where is stored information, that show is active or inactive?

Will the Premium Discount will be applied on the Pre-Order.

I think most of us that do full screen scene development would prefer that the Technical Discussions should be in the Discussions thread, which was created for that purpose, rather than in this one. It is a simple matter to create a link back to a post in this thread if the discussion is about a particular shared scene.

As is common in any 3D graphics system there is a 3D clipping box and anything that is too far away from the camera is ignored. There may be a way of altering the Z clipping distance but if so I do not know (or can't remember) what it is. The workround is to rescale everything to be nearer and smaller. I think this can be done by enclosing everything in the scene in a node {} which contains a suitable scale: clause - or maybe just use a scale: clause in the camera node itself.

For Fullscreen scenes I would recommend using Notepad++

It allows indenting of lines etc. and helps keep the formatting aligned.

If you ask @Wyldanimal nicely I am sure he will post a link to the "iStripper language" file he created for Notepad++ that assigns different colours to the various commands and statements used in the creation of scenes. This helps greatly with the formatting and some of the basic syntax for fullscreen scenes.

The first screenshot shows a section of Totem's Whisper Club scene opened in Windows Notepad.

The second screenshot shows the same section in Notepad++ and using @Wyldanimal"s language file.

I have been studying camera handling for a long time. In the case of 2D scenes, you can close the scene before (after the camera node and not at the end)
This is very useful if you want to work animations that do not directly affect the girl. (Example: simulate kenburns that the background moves and not the girl)
In the case of 3D, it must be at the end to work correctly.
Detect errors: the most common is to close sentences wrongly

It is simpler than you think to buy a card.

1) Go to front page and click on the card of your choice
2) Card will start playing preview
3) slide your finger up the screen to reveal the purchase button
4)and press button - job done!

It gets a bit more complicated if you decide to buy that particular card for cash rather than credits but that is an option that is not available anywhere else.

Normally the camera node encloses the whole of the rest of the scene so its closing brace is at the end of the .scn file. If you close it prematurely then anything you declare latter will not be enclosed by the camera node and I do not know how they will be treated.

Error handling for the .scn files is rather weak - in particular many errors are either not detected, are ignored or silently replaced by default s(usually zeroes). If you omit the final closing brace you effectively get one "for free" at the end of the file. I don't like this way of handling errors in the scene's sources as it can (and does) hide simple mistakes and often makes finding some of them, e.g. mismatched opening and closing braces) difficult.

I looked at the Whisper Club scn file and it looks like the camera closing bracket is at the end of the file, as opposed to the end of the camera specific section.

This comment from the same Whisper Club scn file, along with the indenting used with subsections, also support that the camera function contains subsections.

I haven't played with these files much, beyond sometimes reducing the number girls, or possibly removing an animate function, experimenting with what plays better streaming to VR headset. So, I'm no expert by any means. 😊
