More advanced Hybrid Card

Lets say I want to test the same Clip in All 4 resolutions.

I can copy the clip from one of the resolution folders and rename that clip.

The Last two digits of a clip, are just a 2 digit number.
So you can change these last two digits to make a custom clip in the hybrid folder

for a 720p clip I change the last two digits to 70
for a 1080p clip I make the last two digits 10
for a 3K clip I make them 30
for a 4K clip I make them 40

I often Keep the Last Digit the same...

So I will have 4 copies of the same clip name, one from each resolution, but the last 2 digits will be changed.

I can then Play any resolution of that clip, just be selection the correct one by looking at the last two digits

example card e1000 clip e1000_2052201.vghd

I make 4 copies, each from a different resolution of the card.
e1000_2052271.vghd - the 720p version
e1000_2052211.vghd - the 1080p version
e1000_2052231.vghd - the 3K version
e1000_2052241.vghd - the 4K version - there is no 4K resolution of this card though..

A rebuild collection is Needed after making any clip name changes.

Correct,

The VR show for Nata Ocean was made with her wearing the Outfit for Her NFT card.
The downloaded VR shows Have the Card Number included in the file Name.
This Card will be g0014 when it is released fo the DOLZ metaverse.
so that is the card number that is part of the VR shows File name.

for the 2700p version of the VR show it is

iStripper_g0014_h265_2700_59.94_LR_180.mp4

For QA testing this is what I do.
example Card E1000
I download the 720p version.
When it is done, I go to the Models folder and Rename the Folder by adding a dash 720p
For card folder E1000 I rename to E1000-720p
Then I select card E1000 and change the resolution from 720p to 1080p
that triggers it to download again, but in 1080p
When that is done, I again rename the folder E1000 to E1000-1080p
Then I select card E1000 and change the resolution to 3K
that triggers it to download the 3K version.
When that is Done I again rename the folder E1000 to E1000-3K
and last, I change the resolution to 4K

This time I leave the folder as is, E1000
this is the 4K version.

I end up with 4 sets of folders
E1000-720p
E1000-1080p
E1000-3k
E1000
and in some cases
E1000-mixed ( see about my old laptop below )


I test this Version, the 4k Resolution.
when I'm done, I rename E1000 to E1000-4K
and I then can test one of the other versions.
to Test the 720p Version, I rename E1000-720p to E1000

Now I can test the 720p animations.

I don't have to make any changes in the App.
Not even do a rebuild.
I just rename the Folder, and play the Animations.

The App, knows what version the Animations are by the Animation Header.

On My Old Laptop.

I could Play the 3K version of Standing clips without any issues.
But the 3K table clips played slow..
The 1080p Standing clips were fine..

So I would create a Hybrid Folder that was made up of 1080p Table clips and 3K standing clips.

The Software Played all of this just fine, in the correct resolution because it got that information from the Animation files header.


It doen't matter which resolution you download 1st.
As long as you keep track and rename the folder so you know what resolution is in that folder
you can do the resolutions in any order you want.

The software will only use the files in the folder with a normal Name
so which ever folder you Name E1000
that is the animations the software will play.

I know anyone can download 1K or 3K resolution versions of their cards at any time
however one can only replace & keep one version of this at a time. No one wants to do that.

I agree that it would be nice if the app directly supported being able to download multiple resolutions of each card and effortlessly select which one to play. However, even with the current version it is not necessary to re-download each time you want to use a different resolution for a card. You can keep the different resolutions in different folders and just change the storage folders to point to different sets of folders when you want to change resolution. This is somewhat inconvenient - but a lot better than downloading each time you want to change resolution.

I have often thought that Totem should offer a deluxe version of its player perhaps
for an annual subscription. Such a player, could allow subscibers to download their
4K cards at additional lower resolutions, hence giving selection of the resolution
of what is to be played back to the member.

Je sais que n'importe qui peut télécharger des versions de résolution 1K ou 3K de ses cards à tout moment cependant, on ne peut remplacer et conserver qu'une seule version à la fois. Personne ne veut faire cela.

Don't worry, if I don't comment anymore on the difficulties I sometimes have with jerks, because I really think it's my graphics card that is at fault, with its low memory.

I would be due for a change of computer to get the most out of it. Not funny when you think mine was bought in December 2018.

I fixed allready the problem with the solution of @Wildanimal😉😉😉
Thanks @celine and guys for support and replies.
On the short words given by the solution of @Wildanimal is like this:

STEP1
Click on "My Collection"

STEP2
In the left upper corner you`ll see the number of your cards and how many filters did you choose.
Just press and hold LEFT CLICK+CTRL+A untill a bottom window will appear like @Wildanimal said.

STEP3
On the bottom window activated ,you have a lot of options (I chose the resolution and I pressed "Download" - all my shows were ready to download automatically after that - Still downloading 😄😄😄 - about 3000 shows remained)

If the shows are ready for download automatically ,instead of option to download you have many others (delete,hide,etc)

It will take a long time indeed ,but I preffer like this instead to stay,loose time and consume my energy to download them one by one,LOL.

I do other things to my desktop , while the shows are downloaded,

They are download quickly ,because remained I guess only shows with 3K resolution (the highest) and on the other way I have a very good speed of internet (I see they are downloaded 2 by 2 ,while the others are waiting - when they finished come other 2 cards and so on)

It's a fool's game. At 50 credits per scratcher, you're paying $10 (USD) per scratcher to get what? Nothing? 5 cards of low quality that you wouldn't want in your library? So, you spent $600 for 60 golden tickets to only end up with two jokers? I guess you are crazy, crazyjay21. That $600 could have got you a lot of hands-on fun at a real strip club.

@Ricky78 - you have my sympathy - I lost my models drive a while ago (hardware failure) and I can tell you from experience that redownloading 5,000 shows including 4K will take weeks - even grouping them as suggested by @Wyldanimal.

It is possible that some shows may not be recoverable if you owned any of the shows that have subsequently been removed from iStripper at the request of the model. @Wyldanimal can probably supply a list of those - if you are affected, contact support to ask for a refund.

If it were me,
on the settings screen, put a check in advance check box
then as @Celine instructed, change the resolution setting to 4K
That will cause every card to use the Max resolution available for that card.

Now,
On the My Collection Screen
put a check in the filter, Not Downloaded.
( only the not downloaded cards are displayed)
Scroll down one or two screens.
***** a selection Box around a row of cards, and then continue to ***** upwards to select a few more rows.

I would try to select 100 or 200 cards at a time.

Then you will get a menu at the bottom of the screen, and you can click on Download.

The selected cards will disappear from view, and be put in the download Cue.

( you can select ALL of the cards at once using CTRL-A )
( But I do not recommend that you try to download ALL 4000 cards at once. )
( I don't know what your Internet speed is, But it will take days even with a 1Gbps connection )

"rebuild collection" doesn't download the animations (the clips) - that is not its purpose. It does ensure that other stuff local to your PC is properly in agreement with what you have bought (recreating or downloading other files, but not the clips themselves). After the rebuild you will need to download the animations for any cards that are not displayed in colour. You can use the Downloads/Not Downloaded filter to display only those cards rather than having to search for them.

Use a series of Control-Clicks to select several cards, or Shift-Clicks to select a range of cards, or *****-Click to slecect a regtangular block of cards, or Control-A to select all cards (i.e. any of the multi-select methods that you could use on your desktop) and then click on the large Download icon that appears at the bottom of the page to queue all of them for download.

One thing that "rebuild collection" does is that it ensures that any cards that you have downloaded and are available to the program by being in their proper location are recognised as such and that cards that do not have their clips available are also recognised as not being downloaded. Sometimes following a network glitch the program somehow looses track of this this information and "rebuild collection" fixes it (as described in the first part of this paragraph).

For a large collection

Resynch with servers takes a few seconds
Rebuild collection take a few minutes
Downloading everything takes days.

It`s not working. When I press "rebuild collection" it starts loading ,but at the end, the shows downloaded before one by one appear activated ,while at the same time shows which weren`t downloaded remain in the same way.

What should I do??
