Ok sorry that i didn't finish my modifications in time.
I encountered some problems that i hadn't expected.
But good news is that i solved the problems.
Still there are some things that remain to be done.
For now i will put the virtualgirl and virtuagirl interactive cards into the product filter for virtuagirl and will not make a seperate filter for vg interactive. Same goes for deskbabes
That is on my todo list however.
I will add the command next clip to the systray menu as that should be quick to make.
So with 24 hour delay you will find the new version here. But if ever a version was beta then this one. I did some testing which was one thing that costed much time today as i have to watch at least 3 clips in a row to make realistic tests.
But this new beta has many internal changes in the source code i made over the last year. Mainly to make the code easier to maintain. You will be my beta testers if you will use the new version.
One interisting thing is that my addon is able to play the transition clips at will even in full size.
Theoretically it should be possible to use the fitting transitions to connect the clips. but that will be a hell of work so this is more of a long time goal.
For the beta version the transition clips will be filtered out as otherwise they would be played one after another and that makes no sense at all.
so thats for the status update folks. Tomorrow your wait should finally be over.

@SweetAngel - Your goal of 750 cards is very close, well done! I too hope to reach double diamond status, but you will beat me to it :)

Finally it is almost time there I am only 10 cards to get my goal of 750 cards for Double Diamond has achieved status, I always had to open a theme to because this is my first big goal at Virtua Girl and DeskBabes, my next goal is to then have 1500 cards and because to achieve triple diamond status whether they are normal Vg cards, Classic Vg cards or DeskBabes cards, this is of course subject to my letzes Double diamond status I hope you annoyed that not a bit but it has been as said above my goal or rather my dream and now I am only 10 cards up to the age Tuesday I'll probably have reached at the latest!

My grand total for now is 1915 cards made of VG, DB and *one* Classic card. I do not think I am near any next theoretical level yet, but since Totem always makes the levels so that there will be no retroactive bonuses for crossing level barriers it would be rather nice if they announced next levels NOW. Didn't get any bonuses for any diamond levels and while I am 'fine' with it I would not want it to happen again.

In summary, Anna Tatu still holds a slender lead over Melisa, with Caprice now well adrift in 3rd place. Melena Tara has moved to 4th ahead of Sabrisse. Tess Lyndon has moved into the top 20 and consolidated her place there. Lola, with 21 points and in equal 22nd place, is the highest placed model to have not been given 3 points yet, but 16 members have voted for her.

First, let me say that I have most of the models. I also believe that there are so many great ones that I cannot justify giving any one model more than 1 point (not even my favorites). No not finished yet. right now Melisa is dancing for me in the last clip of a 3 clip playlist
It all looks good so far. Replay is implemented.
Also the function to play a different clip while a playlist is active.
It will now start instantly and not wait until the current clip is done.
In fact many things are much easier this way.
I always know which clip is playing now and which clip i will put into the queue next. so for a replay i just tell to play the clip that is playing now again instead of using the clip that should be next. after the replay it will be the next clip unless you order to replay again.
Play clip is similar i just replace the clip that is playing currently with the clip the user used the play clip button on and the next clip to be played will still be the one that i already selected before.

Now only next show, next scene, next cliptype functions need to be adjusted. and i will add a next clip function that will just make the next clip already chosen and shown in the tooltip as next clip play instantly.
Thats so simple now its really laughable. so I give you that new feature too. But you have to wait til tomorrow. You US / Canadian folks should find it, when you have had your breakfast and the europeans in the early afternoon tomorrow.

Also so far i only tested with old shows no interactive shows yet. once it works for the old ones that will be the next test. Maybe i have to remove the intermediate clips from the playlists. Have to make some tests once the old shows work as before (in fact better than before)

I dug up an old thread with yet another option that I hadn't considered. Seems like 5 or 6 years ago, there were a group of musicians chatting about creating their own music for sharing with other members. There are a couple of links to an upload site they were sharing, but those sites are either no longer in use, or in another language. Yet another site referenced in that thread has had it's URL replaced by a chat line.

Quite honestly the finger beckoning by every friggin model anymore is just annoying!! how can totem possibly think that this is sexy or makes me want to buy $50.00 worth of cards right now this second?! it needs to STOP totem! I'm sure there are many others who feel the same, and is the main reason I just don't buy cards anymore. it simply takes away the fun having every damn model act the same. this started with the dorcel cards and has just gone too far, imho.

@The3LeggedMan Good to know. I'm guessing that Totem holds a license for the music, but I don't know the scope of that agreement. Obviously, the length of a song is edited by Totem to the length of the clips. Certain songs seem to be similar, but at a different tempo, in different videos. They wouldn't ***** the tunes without a license from the author. I know that I could just download generic porn song titles from anywhere, but I thought I'd check this option too. They're good tunes. Totem has done well. Maybe they're available free from Totem. (shrug)

@ET: The use of model name perspective was inspired by @No.6. I was trying to figure out a way to angle the names and after seing a scene from @no.6, I accidentally put in a wrong parameter and realised that we can skew the names! Thanks to No.6 for that one :D

For the brave coders out there, it's quite simple:

To get the same effect, in the .scn file, for the clipNameSprite, type this:

scale: 6.0, 3.0, 0 //x,y,z parameters
rot: -90, 90, -90 // Rotate angles thru all dimensions, x,y,z
source: clip // Obviously the current playing clip :)

You can play with these paramaters to achieve a larger or smaller effect too :)

Hi guys!

I started to implement the necessary changes today.
I am not done yet. The basics are working but the special functions probably not.
It's all a bit complicated as i still want to be able to show the next clip that will be played as tooltip.
So for starters i have to select 2 clips at the beginning as one will immediately start to play and the other needs to be shown as next clip.
I have to check every function like next show, next scene, replay to see if it still works.
Thats the part i plan to do tomorrow after work.

If all goes will i might finish tomorrow but no promises.
Otherwise i should be able to finish on the weekend.

I don't think Totem makes the music from the bonus videos, I'm not 100 % sure but I think I've heard the same songs on other videos elsewhere. Its just generic porn music, so it would be kinda hard to track down the artist/song unless a Team member provides that info or even better, a download link.

Taylor Sands looks very attractive. Men's Club, Night Prowl, Hoedown and Midnight Treat - those will definitely take place in my collection. About the rest..i'm not sure yet.

The Uniques page was an afterthought, Rita. I have adjusted my copy so the columns match in both Master and Uniques pages. I'll upload an updated file each Sunday and include the correct link in that week's update. That is assuming there are new votes for the week.

Me I always have to see the demo first. But the pics are promising so far...

That's the plan. I've already gone that route, but thanks for adding the advice to this thread. I found a conversion tool that works. I don't want to implement that option yet, until I hear back from Totem about the license/legality issue.

Incidentally, the ripping option isn't the best. Videos which contain both music and sound produce mp3 files with both together in the sound output. Not exactly the desired effect. A clean copy of the music direct from Totem is perhaps the best for me.

My guess is that if you'd like to listen to this music just as a song or add it to your VG shows as mp3 file, you must download the video first and then rip the music from the video by using third party software.
Make a search: how to rip audio from video .. to find more info ..

Allegedly it can be done with VLC Media Player as well, but as I've not done it with this program, can't say anything about it.

i'm not really sure, but i think the music in the videos is made by Totem themselve. and i'm not sure if they're willing to add those songs to the software.

I like the songs VG has chosen, but don't know how to find them online without knowing the song titles. Maybe they're free right here on this site and licensed for my personal use with the software?

I searched the forums. There is chatter about music, but I can't find anything on this particular subject.

I may want to play them with this software from time to time and most certainly don't plan to share them or use them on any other device. Canada is on a crusade to wipe out software/music/P2P piracy right now, and a trip to Versailles to answer to a summons isn't on my agenda.

Feature #414: Follow Registry to play clips: Behaves as a user click on the clip.
The program checks every 250 milliseconds if the registry value 'parameters/ForceAnim' contains a clip name (ex: a0001\a0001_0101.demo or a0001_0101.demo). If yes, the program plays this clip and clears this registry value.
The program stores in the registry value 'parameters/CurrentAnim' the clip name (ex: a0001\a0001_0101.demo) of the first girl on the screen.
The program stores also in the registry value 'player/currentClips' all the clip names (ex: a0001_0101.demo a1000_0101.demo) separated by a space.

A pretty water rippling effect with a slow moving fire in the background :)

In your Fullscreen preview window, you will see an odd effect of a reversed, upside down mirror image of the models. This does not happen in the Fullscreen mode. This weirdness takes the clipNameSprite, enlarges and mirror images it in the middle of the shader! The water ripples distort everything so you don't notice it so much :)
