Only 5 cards a week and no remasters for almost 60 days. Looks like a lot of cut downs

I am liking this verson! ... great idea with the preview management!

I decided to take a look at the Live tab on my program today, and I just assumed it was the same as when you go to buy credits, that it'd automatically log you into the live site the same as it does to reload your account when it comes up in the browser.

Instead, it requires me to login, but when I try to log in with my regular account information, it tells me its an incorrect username or password.

My question is if the live site is indeed linked to my iStripper account, or would I have to create a new account especially for the live site?

Good Question - I don't know...
The Reason for limiting 720p to gold and above, was so that New members wouldn't
have their 1st experience with lower resolution cards.

Totem wanted newer members to see the best quality 1st.

So I'm not sure if cards remastered from 720p to 1080p are available to non-gold members or not.

I know In windows 7, it does not show the Select Folder Dialog Window.
This is a bug??
In Windows 7 it only shows the Add Folder dialog Window.
I have Windows 7 64 bit, and also have the same issue.

but on my Windows 8.1 and Windows 10, I do see the Select Folder Dialog Window.

not sure why you don't see the Select Folder Dialog, as it looks like you have windows 10

The problem for Totem is that remastering takes a fair amount of effort. The only additional income Totem gets is from new sales. For those of us who already own a card, it's a free upgrade.

Some Existing cards such as 1080p, can be Remastered, not to a higher resolution, but will gain
color and bit rate from the new encoder process.
So yes, even remastering existing 1080p with the New encoder to 1080p will be an improvement.

Thank you for the explanations...but yeah I find it odd but interesting that some shows at the same resolution which were apparently recorded around the same time appear different in quality...like for example Jessica Joy's 1080p resolutions are really good compared to other shows recorded with the same resolution at the time...or maybe it's the fact that she is one of my favs and my eyes are POPPED OUT WIDER O_O :P

It should also be Noted that Totem Never produces a card at a higher resolution than the Original Recording.
So if the Camera that was used only recorded in 720p, then that is the MAX resolution the card will be in.
There was a period of time, when the Camera was recording in 4k resolution, but the Software and User base was only capable of 1080p.
Around march of 2010 Totem started to use a Higher resolution Camera. Around card a0655 I think.
Once the User base caught up, Totem started to Produce cards in 3K.
They also went back to the Original Recordings, and remastered cards in 3K
The same thing happened with some of the 720p cards. A new Camera was used that was 1080p capable.
So some of the 720p cards were remastered to 1080p

Since the Encoder software had evolved and become better, Color Quality and Bit Rates improved as well. So not only did the remastered cards
get a resolution increase, they also got better color saturation and higher fidelity.

Re: Remaster

After making the initial recording of a model's performance, the video is edited and encoded for display by the iStripper software. Some of the more recent 1080p cards were recorded with the same type of cameras used for 3K cards, but at that time Totem was not creating 3K cards. Now it is possible to go back to the original recording and recode it as a 3K card. Totem is doing this for selected cards. They have also discovered that their current techniques produce better quality results even a 1080p cards, so these reformatted cards are better quality overall than the original versions.

Can someone please explain what it means to "remaster" a card in detail...I appreciate it thanks! :)

So one of my Alizee cards got deleted. I thought I backed it up correctly but apparently not. (I know, I should be more careful).

Obviously I can't download it again. What are my other options? Can I get the credits? Or do I have to be content with earning a lesson? How does this work? Any ideas?

Unlock 720p ..and its updates will although un peau limited in quality

So I just woke up from a nap (sort of) and got my computer out of hibernation mode...and when I opened iStripper and clicked on my collection I noticed one of my cards said "New Format"...ummm what does this mean??? The card is Anna Tatu "Sweet Love"...has her love for me changed in some way? If so I'd like to know :P

I don't understand the reasoning here. They need to sell cards to make money. Cutting 104 cards a year can't be better for business...regardless of quality, unless they charge more.....uh oh! Me thinks they are going to increase "quality", while increasing price, because , hey, they increased quality. They really screwed up by playing with the pricing stuff, the old way cost me a lot more money but was way better business. Offer a card at discount the first 7 days, that is standard. People will buy it on first impulse because they will be kicking themselves if they decided to buy later, which we all do.

Apparently this is to be a regular thing with some new cards. There's a new tag, "glass" which I assume means window washing :) I also remember this mentioned in another thread by a Team member :D

I said before the scheduling didn't bother me but thinking about what's left on the incoming cards thread right now it would take a month just to get through those.

This is were the old saying patience is a virtue comes into play. As i mentioned before (i knew it would happen) a card i was hoping to get this week got put on hold.

Hopefully this quality girl search works out.
