I have seen posts wth (edited) next to them and somone said about starting a poll, how do i do these things! thank you for your help :)

When you create a new subject, look at all the options you have under the text box and you will see the one to create a poll in this new thread.
You can edit your post, only if nobody has added a response. Click on the down arrow at the right of your post and you will see an edit option.
