I would say it depends on the girl and the outfit she is wearing.

Some girls might have beautiful feet and it goes with the rest of her body. Other girls maybe not so much.

If a girl is starting in an outfit that has thigh highs and heels, that is a far bigger turn on for me than if she takes off the thigh highs and heels. But, to each their own. So maybe just toss in at least one clip of naked feet in each card.

Cards I dislike the most are the 'swim' themed cards... Where the girls do not wear shoes for the entire card.

I love seeing the girls strut around in heels, so sexy, a win for my taste. Everytime.

Having said that, the one place that makes more sense for bare feet to be shown is the over task bar close up stuff, where the feet can be more prominent. I wouldn't mind some cards really showing this off, but not every card, and the label would really need to reflect that this was the situation... because "naked feet" can be really vague. Foot love. There is a time and place :D

I didn't realize that I cared that much about it, but I see that I tend not to buy cards that have all naked feet clips. The spa robe or beach series ones come to mind. I may buy one if it's a model I must have, but I find it gives me a reason to save money. I'm still surprised I haven't broken down and bought the Anna Tatu card where she's in a spa robe. (It still might happen :) But I like to have cards with models wearing heels, at least for part of it.

I voted "I don't care", but I guess I should say as long as it's done well. I don't want to watch a girl fumbling around trying to take her shoes off for half the clip (some of them seem to be rather tricky). And high heels in a pajama themed card for example would seem a bit out of place.

I also don't care to watch a clip focussed specifically on feet, but wouldn't mind one or two clips in a card for those who do like that.

Otherwise, whether or not there are bare feet doesn't matter to me.

I like women dancing and strutting her stuff in sexy high heels or stilletoes, and it is really disappointing when she takes off her shoes early in the beginning or during her dance routine. I prefer she keep her shoes on the whole time during standing and strip pole scenes, and during "task bar over" scenes; it's OK if she takes shoes off at the later stages of her task bar scene. I realize shoes and outfit goes together, and high heel shoes with a beach outfit may seem out-of-place, but girls look great in them (e.g., girls in swimsuits for most beauty contests wear them).

For above reasons, I've stopped buying cards or shows featuring bare feet, and shows where the girl is wearing clunky wedges, sandals, flops, boots, bedroom slippers. Lately, it seems very few cards (less than about 1 in 10 cards) have the related features that I like.

I love naked feet! Bare feet gives a sexy natural look, an integral part of her beauty. Some shoes are so ugly, so I can't buy the card! Reducing naked feet in the cards is not necessary.

I bought more than one card with nice shoes, only to see that the Girl takes them off in less than 30 seconds in almost EVERY clip. It's just sad when a girl with a nice evening dress does this.

The ratio of clips with bare feet vs. shoes on all the time is not in balance. Of course people should get them in Bikini Cards etc. but not that much with normal outfits as it happens now.

Also Some feet have a nice Sexy shape, and some feet have seen better days..
The Pose of the foot is also important.

As one of the original founders on the "Barefoot List" thread from way back I feel obligated to say something.

I obviously like the barefoot clips and would ***** to see them become the rarity they once were. We used to be lucky if we got a few barefoot clips across a girls entire collection. Some of the original VGHD girls had no barefoot clips at all. Morgane for example. The rarity was why the list started in the first place

I also feel that a girl isn't really naked if she still has shoes and or nylons on, plus I love watching them take them off. It's part of the stripping for me. Watching a girl slowly peel nylons off is absolute bliss to me. I also think there are girls that dance better barefoot or shoeless as I'm sure it's a challenge in heels for some.

Does it need to happen in every clip in every show? Of course not, but I do thing it should be part of most shows.

Theres alot of card I regret buying lately because the girl ave a nice sexy outfit but take off her shoes early and then shes bare foot for the rest of the card. I am trying to avoid these cards but the bare feet tag is not really helpfull. Its seems with the new format of the card since alot of the clips follow eachother then if she takes off her shoes in 1 of the first clip then they are gone for the rest of the card.

I woul'nt mind a few clips on the taskbar, but I really dont like it with the standing and pole dance clips. Also I guess im in the minority here but I do like the stipper shoes.

AS far as I can judge by my experience of strip club, showing up all naked without shoes is part of the experience on stage. There is not such a rule as not taking off shoes off when the stripper performs pole dancing. Shoes are an accessory but not an absolute condition.

If she's going to wear shoes please don't use those awful platform shoes or boots. I am not a fan of those big clunky shoes. A nice high heel, slipper, beach ***** flop, or barefoot makes me happy.

Notwithstanding any discount deals the girls may or may not enjoy with Parisian shoe stores via Totem, I can't imagine why there is such a plethora of new shoes appearing on recent cards. I used to buy some high heels tagged cards, thinking there may be a mistake in the tagging. Now I'm reluctant to buy any which don't offer a "Full nude show" at some point as advertised.

I think EVERY part of a woman's body (armpits, not so much!) can be beautiful, including feet, but I don't have a foot fetish, concentrating chiefly on feet in admiration or for sexual pleasure. It's just that ANY beautiful aspect of a woman to be always or usually covered interferes with my enjoyment of their beauty or attitude. To me, always wearing shoes is rather like always wearing gloves (hands can be so beautiful!), or, shudder, a mask (although not quite as extreme ;) ). Don't misunderstand me, I love the look and effect of a sexy pair of high-heeled shoes on a woman. A sexy pair: i.e. thin strappy sandals or classic pumps. That rules out boots for me (horror: thigh-highs!) and usually clunky or weird shoes. I almost never buy a card with boots unless ... I KNOW they come off.

But, by all means, I would encourage an iStripper woman with totally flat feet or cankles to never take off her shoes or boots. Otherwise, just as VG or iStripper never has a card with no nudity, so there should probably be SOME showing of barefeet in most cards.

One thing I wouldn't enjoy so much is for you Totem Folks to confine all barefoot scenes to the taskbar. Some of my enjoyment of barefeet is in the attitude it can portray or in the unexpected. Example: a woman in heels and a ballgown dancing who suddenly kicks off her pumps and dances even harder. Or a woman usually barefoot in her bikini who decides to put on a pair of high-heeled sandals for a scene or two to give you a taste of her sexy pinup girl routine.

Too, there is the fact that dancing in bare feet has an effect on how a woman dances and I enjoy that difference. But, most of all, a woman who is totally nude, from head to toe, is just so incredibly erotic and a huge turn-on for me. Set that nude woman to dancing and WHEW! , words fail me at this moment! No words, just my senses and feelings!

I'll weigh in... I find that I'll skip a card or not purchase it if it doesn't have the "naked feet" tag. It's a deal breaker, and it seems natural to include at least a few clips with naked feet on every card. If I do purchase it based on many other qualities, I'll still be frustrated on the card that says "Full Nudity" and she's still partially covered in the clip. A more appropriate tag would be "Shoes Only" but definitely not "Full Nudity".

Outside of iStripper, when viewing "the arts" I will generally skip content that has the model wearing socks or sneakers or high heels or whatever by the end of the clip or photo set. I find the beauty of a woman to include the continuous curves and bone structure of her legs and feet. It's just a preference. I guess that makes me a foot guy, but the focus is on being fully uncovered to appreciate the beauty.

@Rex, thanks for asking the question. The topic is pretty high on my list. You posted this quite a while ago but there are still a high proportion of recent cards without any naked feet clips - did you change the strategy? About 50% of your voters selected "Bring them on" "A few on every card" or "One every card". Thanks again.

You must realise by now that the "Full Nudity" level of eroticism is not a description and is best regarded as an arbitrary name that as defined by Totem does not mean "devoid of clothes" - indeed there are some clips that are, by Totem's definition, correctly classified as "Full Nudity" that most people would describe as fully clothed! We may think that "Full Nudity" is a poor name and I wish Totem would explain just what it implies, or change it to something less ***** (the best I have come up with is "Explicit Nudity", but I don't really like that either).

P.S. Strictly speaking "Full Nudity" is not a tag but is encoded in the clip file name. Adding or changing tags, which are defined at card level in the XML files, is a relatively simple things for Totem to do but changing the meanings of the "Level of Eroticism" encoded in the clip file names would be rather more difficult as is any change that affects the file names. I would be all in favour of abandoning clip classification based on file names, but it is not something that we are likely to see in the near future.

@TheEmu is 100% correct.

As an ex-member of the QA team, we had to learn Totem's definitions of the clip levels, 1 to 5 so as to correct any errors. pre-release. Very occasionally, some were missed and were released with incorrect level numbers.

I won't post the FULL definitions here but loosely, they are as follows:

Level 1: No nudity. No nipples showing and no pussy showing.

Level 2: Topless. This can mean a brief nipple flash or full-on topless. Can also mean you can see the outline of a model's pussy thru her panties as well as her nipples.

Level 3: Nudity. This doesn't mean completely naked. It means we can see her pussy clearly. (There are quite a few more bits that go into these rules that I won't go into here):

Level4: Full nudity. Again, this doesn't mean completely naked, necessarily. It means we can see a model's pussy clearly, usually showing some of the inside (Pink). This includes heavy rubbing, over or under panties for an extended period.

Level 5: XXX. This almost ALWAYS means insertion of fingers or dildos (Or other objects) into pussy or anus. The model may still have most of her clothes on.


So can you see that the level definitions can easily overlap with other clip labels? I've left out quite a lot of detail in Totem's definitions because it would be a nightmare to go thru every card and clip then try to create a new clip label that woud fit every level definiton.

We are talking 100's of thousands of possible combinations to absolutely nail down one clip type exactly, exclusive of all others. Frankly, I don't see anyone wanting to take the trouble to do that. Possibly could be done with a DB program but personally, I think some members are just CREATING work for somebody to do. Seriously? Is it THAT necessary???

I did always wonder about the distinction between Nudity and Full Nudity, so that helps... basically Full Nudity is "even more naked and naughty but not explicit".

Funny, I actually thought about volunteering for that perfect job, but I already have one. I'm a data manager, so my brain just works that way.

Regarding the card categories, that is a little more hellish as they're a mix of outfits (firefighter, cowgirl), prop types (cage, bike, cream), girl characteristics (tiny tits, big boobs, skinny), and more recently porn star status (and they're all beautiful porn stars to me!). Basically just tags that helps you filter down to your interest.

I didn't intend for this to become a tags discussion. I'll modify my earlier quote to: "I'll still wish the girls were fully naked (shoes and all) on a couple clips."
