It appears to me that this has been hashed out well enough so I will be closing the thread for now. If the starter of the thread wants it opened again he can feel free to send me a PM and I will gladly open it back up for him.

Every one can learn from this, provisions are in place here for users to report offensive posts and avatars, everyone should feel free to use those. What every user should not do is send a PM to other users ( any user ) telling him or her that they have offended them, that would only piss someone off. Trust me, it even pisses them off if I do it and I am a mod. Again, not taking sides, there were two very wrong here and they got dealt with.

If Patrick says fair treatment was used in this incident, I have to believe that, I have seen nothing from Partick in my time here that would sway me to believe otherwise.

It looks as if the thread might be going in the wrong direction now anyway.
