At a scale setting above about 70% a 4K card will look a bit better than a 3K card on a 2560 X 1600 display. On a 4k display it's a whole lot better.

It really depends on what type of work, physical work I'd require no concentration for, but for creative work I to give it all and can be both physically and mentally exhausting, but yeah, I've worked up to 8 hours without taking a break, also hours after doing 4 hours of woodworking prior (I'm unable to work a full week for personal reasons I'm not willing to go into), it's not a job it's all personal time but hopefully I can turn it into a career someday, it's art though so no money to be made unless you become famous somehow, maybe I should paint porn, I heard sex sell haha.

Possibly. But I vaguely remember a few years ago there was a survey done by a member on ages of members. If memory serves, it was a fairly balanced spread from 18 to almost dead 😉 I guess most of us start early and never stop. I certainly won't unless I one day go completely blind 😕

It's no problem really, I think this type of entertainment messes with anyone's productivity really, I tend to paint 5-6 hours on a day if I have the time and energy but in order to do that I need to reach a flow state, so that's why. I need to turn off my devices once in a while and practice my patience, that's all.

Which gives me Kaisa in slo-mo whether I want it or not.

Time to buy a new processor!

At the least a 9th Gen Intel or a 2nd Gen Ryzen. Everything else is obselete and probably won't be too future proof. The 1st gen Ryzen stuff will be super cheap but don't buy it. It took the fight to Intel for multi core but the single core performance just isn't there and I always had weird lagging on my 1700X no matter what I did.

I have a 4 core /8 thread Ryzen 5 2500U I can throw iStripper on and see how it handles 4K on 1080p display.

Preview clips are a requirement of how iStipper promotes the cards that are on Sale in the store.
Every card on Sale must have Preview clips.

During shooting of the show, there may not be footage that can be used to create a level 1 preview clip.

So any clip designated as a preview clip with Above Level 1 content will be classified as Level 2, regardless of the actual Level content it might contain.

Level 1 clips are the only level that will not have content above it's level designation.
( there is a Level 0 designation, but no card to date has been released with level 0 clips )

While it doesn't happen often,
there are some preview clips that do exceeded Level 2 Content,
but they can only be classified at most, as level 2.

The Team does it's best to make sure that No Level 1 classified clip, contains content Higher then level 1.
And the Team does it's best to properly classify the other clips to match the Content Level.
But on clips of Level 2 and Higher, it is not as strict.

The Level classifications above level 1,
are approximations of,
what is the Maximum Content level that can be expected to be seen.

The Words assigned to the Levels are just that, a word to to describe what might be in that level.
there are actually, a written set of guidelines that describe what content fits into which level.
and the Guidelines go beyond just that single word.

iStipper could have just called Level 2, Level 2, with no descriptive word..
but it is easier to understand and call it Topless,
even if level 2 encompasses more than just topless nudity.


Hope this helps to understand the different level classifications.

I know for a fact that a great many of the iStripperXXX cards from the earlier generations (this was especially the case when duos were king the second or third year or so since the XXX cards' introduction) have demo clips that are accurately classified.

It's not at all clear to me why the functionality would have to change for later collections but not retroactively.

If that is indeed built into the code, it's a terrible functionality idea, as it conflicts with the ability to accurately set the displayed "Levels of eroticism" setting in the Desktop section of the settings (uncheck "Progressive hotness" to activate).

The amount of Memory used depends on 3 things.
Resolution of the clip
Length of the clip in seconds
Streaming of the clip

If the Last two, are the same

then an Increase in Resolution will cause an increase in the amount of memory used.

Currently the App itself is developed as a 32 bit app.
It can use a Maximum of 4GB of ram.

So you will need 4GB of Ram Free for the iStripper app to use.
above and beyond what all other apps are using.

a system with 8GB of ram should be ok.


When / If the App is released as a 64bit App
I would say that 8GB Ram for the App will be sufficient.

So a system with 12GB or 16GB or ram.

Thanks Popeyed. I've been looking at the performance stats and with iStripper open it is taking 5% CPU and 580mB memory. With one girl up and running that has gone to 25-45% CPU and 800 mB RAM. I'll try upgrading a card to 4K, run it and look at the stats - which may point to what power I need.

I am using a display port cable for the 165Hz

I can run ten 3K cards without any stuttering but I never actually watch that many at once...at most 5...

It's a Lenovo Ideapad 110-151BR with an Intel Pentium 1.6GHz processor, 8GB RAM on a 64 bit operating system. I can connect via HDMI cable to a 4K TV.

Well I'd imagine you need a 4K monitor to truly enjoy the 4K quality (obviously)...I have a 1080p/165Hz monitor but still 3K shows on the 1080p res look noticabely better (to me)...more crisp/smooth... (placebo effect?)

I have downloaded 3K cards to my laptop and the poor thiung has slowed to an absolute crawl trying to run them, so I am currently stuck on 720p resolution.

i have played a few credits each day since Friday... I usually pop about 5 cards a day, and keep playing with the credits one, then pop 5 more. Total so far, I have played 57 total times since Friday and here are my totals

255 credits won back total
9 regular cards (one of which I didnt keep in collection, others are okay, but all older cards
BUT I did tonight FINALLy got a SEC, my first from these games.... it was Melena so happy about that.

Not sure if I will play more this week, pretty happy I got a SEC, usually not that lucky in all the times I have played in the past... Overall, not down that many credits from the start plus I got SEC plus 9 other cards to add to collection, so over all, not too bad, but usually not the norm for these games..... but Ill take it....
