I believe there were some server lag issues, causing the Not Found, and missing cards.
It should be fixed now, as you already Posted it is OK.

It happens from time to time.. Server issues..

It would be "sour grapes" to not congratulate Mandy Dee for her victory over the fashion trendsetter of the known worlds the Vivacious Angel Kiss so wel dun MD. :)

No model pointed a gun to her head again, right? So maybe there is a guideline in place about that for a long time now.

But there is a long way from discouraging an action that might ***** someone's sensibility, like pretending to shot oneself (and that only pushing something that was made as a jest to extrapolating it to something "deadly")to ban a prop or limit it's potential, funny or erotical, cause someone don't like it or feels offended.

Each time someone, anyone, surrenders a piece of his creative liberty because someone says so, that someone ends up losing much more than just one thing. At the end that someone will end up being the slave of the views of a few people and there will be no chance for innovation or any possible evolution. Just the ***** to not being politically correct.

I don't think that this topic is very productive and has become less so as it went on.

Hum. There's no such thing as a "new" guidance. As Rex said: "It has been changed for a while now".

And if it was changed was cause someone, back in 2008, was crying for censorship out loud and demanded a clip with a gun to be deleted. Shockingly, but not for the only time, that someone was heard by Totem and here we are again, talking about restrictions and liberties, safety and political correctness in the surface, but just beating the old horse of "if I don't like it, nobody should see it".

As WA, I wonder what thing would be the subject of a "guideline" next. "Don't run with scissors" makes sense to me, "Be very careful holding a toy gun" makes not.

i have now Virtua Guy skin in the VG software but i have some problems with it. First i could not on the side of VG or Desk Babes with an URL error that could not be find. Now i can on the side of VG again but downloads of my own cards are not more possible and crash always. Demos are also not possible they crash too. Synchronize with server end with an error. I want Virtua Guy no more and should be happy to load my own cards again.

Let me start this post by stating that I firmly believe we need moderators and guidelines on how to behave in this community. That said let me play the devils advocate for a moment.
(and pleas read the whole post before going all bonanza over what I write)

Why do we need moderators? Aren't their task just to censor free speech in this community?
(note: this is a rhetorical question)

Now, bare with me and remember English isn't my native language. (even if I'm pretty good at it *s*)

Just as the Team have set up guidelines on how members should behave in this community I find it natural for the Team to set up guidelines on how the models should behave in order for them to be safe and for Totem to earn as much money as possible.

REX posted above that in the beginning the girls had no guidance when it came to guns, and that resulted in some clips certain members found offensive. Me being one of them. If the Team now have set guidelines, concerning guns, for the girls to follow I think this is a good thing, just as I think it's a good idea to have guidelines and moderators for this community.

To go and yell censorship isn't a productive approach. Instead we should wait and see what these new guidelines really mean AND if we don't like the result raise our voice and ask for them to be changed. Just like the person starting this thread did by making a poll.

We are all here to enjoy the girls and personally I think the Team is doing a great job bringing us the most beautiful and charming girls to our desktops. Let's all try and remember that to keep things in perspective. =)

You're comparing Rambo movies to a small percentage of shows on VG. See where your logic fails? People are much more easily influenced by Rambo because lots of people want to BE Rambo.
