if no new girl appears that sounds like a bug. But I'm not able to reproduce it. On my installation
girls dances randomly like the should.
Maybe you could give a bug report with your technical details and a screen-shot of your settings in the categorie Bugs & Fixes for the developer to help them to find the problem.

Ok, understand, but I don't see something to fix here.
the last played clip(s) is(are) saved in the Registry key "currentClips" for this reason.

If you switched off the software for some reason maybe people want to continue the show later when switching on???
You say you don't - others may say they like it that way???
a matter of taste.
and you don't have to choose a new girl, after the saved clip it randomly goes on like your settings are set.

The On/Off Button is not made for switching girls, it's just for turning the software on and off. 😉

@Rex: I don't feel as vehemently about this as the original poster, but I agree with part of what was said in spirit. I often feel like Totem picks up on some sexy move and the first time you see it, you think "wow!" But then over the course of a month or two of cards, you keep seeing the same move again and again, either across all of the model's cards, or across different models. In addition to the "come here" move (which I think is fun for the demo clips given that the model is trying to coax you into buying, but seems out of place in full-length clips where there's no way I'm going to get any closer to her), the other one that gets me is the "I'm pointing my finger up and licking it" move that started becoming popular at the beginning of the year. The first few times, I thought "Wow, that's hot!" Soon after that my reaction became "Oh, that old move again..."

If I had a ton of great ideas, I'd start my own business, but I have to think that with all the strippers and strip clubs in the world, there must be a ton more moves than seeing the same one in just about every card for a few months before moving on to the next one. Even going back and looking at what some of the early VGs did would be instructive -- many of them remain favorites, in psite of the low resolution.

(I continue to think that having VG models speak on camera would be great, though I understand the technical and acting challenges, and the varied quality of the DB cards testify to it).

That doesn't fix the issue Virt4B. The problem that is going on is that when you have the shows on and then turn it off THEN turn it back on the same girl(s) show back up and restart the same clip that you turned the performance off on. Unlike how it was before 3k and 4k pics and vids were ever a thought. when you turned it off for a bit and then turned it back on. a new girl shows up. now we look at the current version of the program. when you do that you get the same ones back again. and personally, having to click on them and having to select a new girl shouldn't have to be done unless you want to skip the girl. but with this version of the program you have to do just that if you want to go to a new girl after turning the shows back on.

@Virt4B using show duration only determines how long a single girl will stay on... what happened to a random girl playing after each clip? when i have it set to a single clip and select a girl, once she finishes, no new girl comes up. everything stops. i have to manually select a new girl. solution?

Which i think is the biggest hurdle next to keeping it in place safely while girls are up against it working their magic.. xD

The camera can just be on the other side as usual..

I have had this for a while. But when I started upgrading my comp I haven't used the program for a long time. I just DL'd it yesterday to start enjoying the girls again. I like how we can have up to 10 shows at one (think 3 is more then plenty) BUT when I turn of the program for a min to go deal with something and come back. The same 1-3 girls come back on. Back when I used to use this, anytime you turned the shows off then back on it went to a new show. Not the same girl(s) as in this case. Is there a way to fix this problem?

Very nice @Number6. Just goes to show what variety @TheEmu's Tunnel A shader can be put to. Love the graceful tilting movement of the rondels and the shadow effect. Spent quite a while watching this, great depth effect made the models mesmerizing.. Thanks lots.😉

OK - I had been playing with a number of shaders and I had been trying to get them in some sort of order to upload.

Thanks to @EverthangForever and @TheEmu this has all gone on to the back burner as I have now been playing with the tunnels for the last month or so.

Since @TheEmu posted the solution for using "animate" effects with the tunnel shaders I have been playing around with this psychedelic scene.

It is only one scene but I was quite pleased with it so I thought I'd share it. In the meantime I am going back to finish some of the other shaders scenes I have been working on (although they are a bit tame compared to this).

If you already have the "No.6 Fracedelic scenes" then you can extract the zip file to the same folder. If you don't have them then you can extract the zip to a folder of your choice. The scene doesn't require any of the previous files/folders and will run just with the included files/folders. The zip is around 17MB

For reference, the new scene is called +No.6_Fracedelic_Scenes - Psychedelic Art 00.scn

Enjoy and feel free to modify as you wish.

What more could they change other then new girls and different clothes? This product is all about girls dancing and stripping, im sorry but i cant really see what more they could do other then to improve the quality which they are constantly doing and also have done one hell of a job on so far.

I disagree 100%. I don't find anything the same in the shows. If there is one small complaint I may say of late there has been quite a few shows from the same girls. But that doesn't make them identical. If I recall right Totem is going to start making more shows in Vegas with US girls. I look frward to that.

Due to what seems to be my norm, I've had problems installing The Player, surprise! It started when I realised that I wasn't seeing new shows on it. You the ones, The ones where the girlies hang around when you pick them of the bar. I have one, it's Stella Cox. I downloaded the newest version and went through the clear instruction given by Wyldanimal http://www.virtuagirl.eu/userProfile.php?usLogin=Wyldanimal. I even had to change my un-zip program and make a new (The Player) folder in the Data file in user VGH. So it's now up and running, finally, after many issues. Not sure about that new taskbar, seems much more fiddly the just pressing play on the interphase. Not sure what the stage is for either.Anyway I'm going to study the thread today, to get some answers. Anyhow, if anyone knows how to get the new shows to work in The Player or has a link, that would be great. I've tried to click on the various options and just get error messages. On another note, do you know the link for the discussion about them girls hanging around, it would be enjoyable to read that thread. The next step would be to make the girls interactive, dream on.

I'm a collector since virtuagirl 1, The product is cool and I know its difficult too bring us everytime new stuff but I agree with the topic starter after so long time its not unique anymore only difference is the girl and clothes but it give us not so much new every week.

At second place since totem has decide too remove the month subscription the cards are too expensive in my eyes ....

I think you can do much better bussiness when you bring back that option .... The high price is the main reason i was stopped with my collection .....

I'm with @Dorsai6 here. VirtuaGirl is Strippers and DeskBabes is Sex. Less touching themselves, and more teasing me that I might be able to touch them, if I throw enough money at them. (Figuratively, of course).

Overall, though, Totem seems to be doing pretty good work.

Edit: Forgot to mention, one thing I'd like to see more of is regular shoes. Most women don't walk around in 6 inch (15 cm) heels all the time. Just a thought. :)

You know I always look at girls hips. More than ass or tits. Also Pepito is very curvy. She is kinda unnusual girl and at first you may not like her since she is quite exotic. Lastly.. because of the way VirtuaGirl is recorded and edited it can be difficult to judge a girl on their actual proportions..
I've come to realise a girl on a screen can differ greatly from the way she looks in real life "face to face"..
Sometimes they look smaller, bigger or even less beautiful..
Other times they are way more gorgeous then on screen.

From the Interactive releases we have Sharon Lee, Lucy Heart, Lucy Li, Paula Shy, Stella Cox, Viola, Anissa Kate, and Lia Taylor. Petite? Plastic? Lacking in natural curves or full breasts? I'm afraid I can't agree with you, Rebel84.

I don't like every VG girl that comes out. But I think Totem is doing a great job with bringing us a wide variety of girls and body types. Compare Amber Cute, Viola, Melena Tara, Anissa Kate, Isizzu, Lucy Heart, Kyra Hot, and Taylor Sands. Variety!

I have had vg for a couple years, but I only recently returned. After updating my software, the girls no longer shuffle. Has this feature been removed? When I play a girl, it will show 1 of her stripteases (or all depending on what I set the duration for), but once she has finished and disappears, a new girl doesn't start like it used to. It's just the same girl again. All my cards are activated. I have looked over all the settings repeatedly and can still not find a solution. Any help?
