Does anybody else has downloading problems with version?

I think they usually have music playing for their dance routine rhythm, but if they were inclined to add something, just a nice little intro like the xxx cards have would be nice.

Could you all possibly add sound to normal Istripper then? I do not know about anybody else but I truely enjoyed hearing the voice of the Model/Actress.

I agree with you. I really like to hear the model's speak even if they are speaking in a language I don't understand. However, I understand that there are technical difficulties in recording audio in the Totem studio. There are also some production problems: many of the older Desk Babes cards had the audio out of synch with the video. All that said, I'd like Totem to try and I'd pay extra for a card with audio in synch with the video and more than just "Hello."

'Totem's policy'.. insertion of Anything, fingers included, is considered XXX

If you do away with triple x and therefore ALL insertion, you are denying the right of models to demonstrate their sexuality involves a G-spot. This is fundementally dumbing down sex to a male fantasy viewpoint that female bodies respond in a similar way to their own (all external). I was hoping iStripper's clips would focus on informing men generally on a range of ways a woman can go about achieving climax without all the ***** about some occasional insert finger play. Any emulated climaxing in regular cards is gonna look fairly lame in future without it imho.

Once you get the XXX cards rolling again, we could use a filter to find them. The current interface doesn't seem to have one. Even doing a search for xxx just brings up Miss Roxxx.

Duos made some of the best triple x cards ever imho.

Problem for Totem would be management cost of all the risks these days.
If you think about it..here are just some risks of Duos that come to mind :

What if customer likes one performer and not the other, will they still buy cards ?
What extra costs ($ and Time) will arise for @Team co-ordinating 2 models ?
What is the risk of one performer not showing up ?
~ don't laugh, it happeneded with one of the first USA cards !!
Will the extra model fees, travel, accomodation, makeup etc be recovered by increased sales?
What if the models have an arguement or one gets sick or changes her mind ?
Longer shoots: Who does what to who ? Lighting & shadows. Retakes due to bloopers?
Complexity of contract/ insurances.
Double the model fees or more.

Inspite of all this, I have faith that one day, we will once again see a dream duo card like the old days 😊

I know that you are a programmer. In 2008, on the forum you wrote about what made their program to play clips.
In the video you demonstrated the capabilities of your program.
Remember version 1.1.0.84 (and earlier). Girls saved position. They moved not from the start screen. Clips with two arrows began outside of the screen.
Programmers Totem know how to do it, because they've done it before.
I'm asking to add the option, when activated the clips with two arrows will not snap to the edge of the screen.
Earlier I made two clips, which showed the problem very clearly. I'm waiting for changes and will not back down.

Hope for Duo's to come back... but unfortunatly, totem seems to take another direction...Same lack of istripper's XXX (ex Deskbabes)... Maybe in the future, if they found a way to earn more money with them... Fingers crossed for me for them to came back, but i'm not very optimistic about this...

Due to cost of production, not very often. I don't think they are completely done with them.

I use my Virtual Stage to Establish a Saved Start position.
then I drop a clip on to the stage. Notice the Circle with an X in the center. This is the saved start position, and it is Attached to the Stage.
If I move the stage, the Start position follow the stage.

With the start position saved.
I move the Stage to make the Position either Right Or Left of the Screen center.

Then I enable an In/Out clip.
Notice how the Clip Starts on either the Left or Right Screen Edge, based on What Side of the Screen Center the Saved start position is.

Then I start a non-in/out clip ( I used a cage clip )
See it goes right back to the Saved Start position.

Also notice that when the In/Out clip plays. The saved start Position Does Not Move. It's Saved.. It Stays where it last was.

You added very useful option "Use hanging clips".
Please add the item "save position for the clips with double arrows".

It is fixed and It Does save the Position.
BUT, all clips of the IN/Out style will ALWAYS, ALWAYS start at the edge of your screen in small mode.

When that clip is finished, the Next NON-IN/OUT clip will start at the saved position.

You can not change how the IN/OUT clips work. They always start at the edge of the screen. Regardless of where the saved position is.

If the saved position is closer to the right side, then they start on the right edge.
If the saved position is closer to the Left side, then they start on the left edge.
Then the next Non-In/Out clip will start at the saved position. ( unless you had ***** that In/Out clip to try and re-position it. )

Any time you ***** and Drop a clip, this sets the New Saved start position to where the clip was dropped.

Crap, No more free non nude added to "My Collection" you have to buy full vertions No mater what.

When I download this file, Norton automatically deletes it :( ???

I just want to give the team my thoughts about this new version issue.

I'm more or less in the same situation like WA.
But lucky me it wasn't necessary to find me a download solution.

I had an older backup and with a little folder synchronisation I got most of
my purchased clips back. For those I've lost I maybe will do a re-download
of the complete cards or if offered from the demo sometimes. I also have no download-limits.

But first I will wait what Totem will do to solve this issue so I went back to an older version for the moment.

From my point of view the team made the mistake not only in programming, they made it
when they decided the way how to do this.

1) It's absolutely clear that they want to limit the amount of previews for non-paying users.
I completely agree with that. It's a business decision. Maybe a not so good one to do this for all members.
They could use the member level to distinguish carefully.

2) for the purchased clips:

If some members are ***** about their disk space you can do a lot without annoying anyone.

You could inform the user within the software and on the website about the file-size for shows before downloading.
This would help them to realize how much space they will need.

and acting like a professional software and

provide a button on the card to delete the demos card by card if you want to.

or/and provide a button in the settings to delete multiple or all demos if you want to.

or right mouse-click options ....

....

(don't forget the possibility to offer a re-download only for the demos)

But always with prompting the user to decide it by themselves.

You never have to decide to delete anything from my harddisk without my permission!

if you dont have the resources to do so you could maybe
teach them how to use their windows explorer - do a little .demo search through the models folder to delete
them on their own or provide them offers for cheap external harddrives, whatever...

but again - never delete anything from all user-harddisks without permission! That's the annoying point.
only viruses acting like this. A trusted software always ask!

I will not install any further version without asking me before deleting something...

The problem of card download looping comes from the presence of a custom card in that same folder. Removing this custom card while it is looping, stop the looping and displays the original card in the software. So by removing all custom cards or marking cards readonly, solves temporarily the problem.

Continued getting the bumps out of animated gifs on fullscreen,
I've made some headway getting these to work in a linear way without needing to rely on
pingpong repeat mode for the smooth movement on fullscreen. ..hope da code is helpful :-)

The first time it tries to re-download a card, it replaces the card, so read only attribute must be set after it is replaced. After restarting the program, this process start again. But the read only attribute seems to work for demo files though, but need more tests on this.

I thought my post was pretty specific to just the card images.

Yes, you could mark all the DEMO clips as read only, but I think that would not work to prevent them from being deleted though..

You can't mark the VGHD files read only, as it will error out before it downloads the .Demo clips.
The .Demo clips are the LAST clip type it downloads, so It Must download, without error
all of the VGHD clips first.

I've got my own Method for Downloading JUST the Demo Clips.
using my own software. I can't share it, as I've not got permission from the Team to do so.
And since it's Downloading and Using their Servers Bandwidth.
I won't share it unless I had Permission to do so.

I feel justified using it myself, as I have the rights to download and use the files.
But my rights to my collection, don't pass on to other members.

I can explain how I do it, and if you are skilled enough, maybe you too can do the same.

I had an archive copy of the model.lst file
which contains a list of every clip name that is in my collection.
I extracted the file name of all of the .demo clips

Using my list of clips,
I wrote a short program to create the URL to download a demo clip,
And write this out to a HTML web page.
So I now have a web page with Links to All of my Demo clips.

I can find and clip I want, and Download it. ( sample of webpage attached )
this can be repeated for as many clips from the list as needed.

It would be only a simple modification, to download the list, rather than make a webpage of links.

But I like the webpage, as I can choose which ones I want.

Now that I know I've also lost all of my _IT demo clips.
I may modify my program to automatically re-download my missing _IT clips

When I download this file, Norton automatically deletes it :( ???

The card will probably be slightly more expensive than Christmas surprise but I do not care I want them all right now

that confirms it is NOT a P2P bug. but something is causing a steady redownload of the card images.
It only starts, after you go to My Collection, and when you hover your mouse on a card image, that seems to trigger it.
often times your mouse is just setting in the card image area, so just switching to the my Collection view, might trigger it.

I have found by using the Resource monitor, just like your Picture shows.
checking DISK activity, and then selecting Just VGHD.EXE
i can See what card image it is...

If I open that Data folder, and right click on the card image, I can set it as read only.

That will cause the VGHD.LOG to record an Error in the LOG,
but it also Stops it from re Downloading that card Image, and it moves on to the next one.

After marking a bunch of the card images as read only, I did get it to eventually stop.
So I'm probably going to write a script, to mark all my card images as Read only.

I don't car about the bandwidth, I have an unlimited plan...
but I don't like the constant writes to my hard drive.

Marking all the cards as read only, will cause it to record an error in the VGHD.LOG, if it tries.

Pantyless upskirts and fooling around with stockings on or nylons (never can keep the two straight) are a real treat when they come around.
