Good conversation everybody. @Orclover, I like your ideas. Not sure what would work. All I know is that I would definitely pay more for an American girl if I was a fan of hers -- Jayden Cole, Natalia Starr, Jelena Jensen, Jenna Sativa, etc. I like the European girls too -- don't get me wrong. I just think that guys like variety. African American girls like Misty Stone or Ana Foxxx would be great on this site also.

Anyway, didn't mean to start a world war here. If we can't have American girls, talking about them is the next best thing I guess. Again, I would pay more. The reason I asked what the count of members by country is, is because if there are many more U.S. members that would pay for the American girls, that would be an incentive for Totem to get them. Another question I would be curious to know the answer to would be how well did the American girl cards do when they were offered?

1/ Remove the qt.conf file in bin folder of iStripper (By default : c:\users\...\AppData\local\vghd\bin).
2/ Restart iStripper.

The zoom done by Windows will be disabled.

I also remember this option, but I don't think it exists anymore, maybe wasn't in much demand, or simply got scrapped on the way to istripper. Maybe someone else has more definite info on it.

And welcome back! I also returned after a long vghd break to istripper last year, and can say that you get used to the changes. And, I for one, got really into the whole thing again. So, enjoy!

For _me_ most of the Ukrainian girls are worth much more than most of American girls - I enjoy their show more.
Should Totem start charging more for these cards based on my judgement?
Also: special cards were most of the time for iStripper stars, not baloon-size porn business names that simply didn't deliver anything special (or in some cases - nothing decent).

I do see why cost for studio could be different depending on country of residence (not the country of origin - that hardly makes any sense - you earn where you live, not where you were born). But seein we get fresh girl like Valeria from Switzerland... I don't really think that is cheap country to live in, do you?
Also: card is worth more when people are willing to pay more, not when the cost of production is higher. If you start charging more becasue production went bananas, people will simply ignore the cards. If you hire big names that smart people preview and decide not to buy - you are loosing money.

In my opinion the problem is not the country, nor nationality. The real problem is that recruitment is not able to hire diverse girls. I seriously don't see any value added on diversity front by US office. That's myth US folks are repeating for a while now, without any hard prove. When you filter out US Stars (I believe that's the only way to get a clue on who worked for US studio) - how many Asian girls do you see?

Wat? If Totem wanted to hire an English teacher they would have to pay an American from LA a lot more than they would have to pay a University student from Kiev. It has nothing to do with ethnicity or race, but is has to do with standard of living, expectations, and the GDP of the nation of origin. Totem hires girls from Kiev because the average Ukrainian makes 4000 a year, the average Parisian over 40k. The average American makes even more...they had to pay the good American performers twice as much, and Rex stated this...so are you calling Rex racist because he paid American girls twice as much? I just want diversity, adn I don't want to totem to go broke so I proposed an idea, which has been floated...remember the Estonika card that cost more? Specialty cards should cost more and flying a girl in from America, or hiring a top performer from France is a specialty for a site that predominately shoots eastern european girls. And please stop with the moral arguments, you are on a forum for a porn site that requires you pay money to watch strippers and porn stars.

why wouldnt you treat it the same as athletes? the better or more popular athletes get paid more and and therefore totem would charge more while newer girls or less known girls would get paid less and therefore totem would charge less. I do not think that a persons origin should matter just as it does not matter in sports. Just my two cents...

I think a tiered cost system is our only hope to get really good performers or extremely hot girls on a regular basis. I don't blame totem because they are hiring "workers" from multiple countries with multiple GDPs and multiple cost of living situations. If I was a dancer from paris I would want four times what a dancer from Kiev wants because the GDP in Paris is 10x Ukraine, and it is so expensive to live in a world class city. The girls from Paris are some of the best on the site and so paying twice as much for them would probably be worth it...there would basically be three tiers. Platinum, Gold, and Silver cards,

Girls from Eastern Europe and Baltic States would be in the silver category and would 75% of current cost.
Girls from Spain, Italy, Czech Republic, Hungary would be in the Gold Category and cost 125% of current cost
Girls from America, France, Britain, Northern Europe would in the platinum category and cost 200% of current cost.

I think this is only way we are going to get a diversity of girls because the girls from richer countries just cannot afford to work on a Ukrainian salary.

I'd pay double for American girls/pornstars. Not saying they are better than European girls but as far as star power, they are defnitely top tier for obvious reasons. I'm a big fan of the most of the European girls that work with 21sextury and DDF Network. i.e. Eve Angel, Zafira, Sandy, Connie Carter, etc. But you have to realize, for most people, it's all about the NAME. We're all fans of someone and regardless of what they do or perform in we watch! There are a ton of cards I bought without even previewing just because of who the girl is. If you were to tell me you were releasing Alexis Texas, Rachel Starr, Sophie Dee, or Dani Daniels cards, I would pre order them if I could! Even if they stayed fully clothed the entire time and just stood there haha. Names matter.
