It is something that has changed in the last couple of months. They made some changes and for a short time it was impossible to read any text in the forum with particular skins. I think at that time it was the dark skins.

@frae had a look at it at the time and fixed the main problem by making the main GUI forum text use one of the palette text colours. I think she said at the time the forum colours were a sort of gradient based on colours within the skin. Unfortunately we are left with this very pale text that is almost unreadable with certain pale colours. I haven't managed to find a way around it other than avoiding particular colours which just spoils the process for me.

Even more frustrating is that skins that used to work fine now have the same problem and I just feel too disheartened to go back and edit them all. I still have a few that work OK so I am sticking with them.

sorry, there is no parameter in the palette.txt for your mentioned text in the forum.
the same issue is in the 'last posts' section. when you have a skin with a darker base color the text in the posts is unreadable.
only workaround for now is to set the colors that all is readable (yes, i know it took a while).

only Totem can fix this issue by themselves.

I agree lots of things was much worse in the past... but the main point is that if we don't learn from History we are bound to make the same mistakes... just wait until ISIS or some other disgruntled a-hole get their hands on some nukes... We are not that far from it with North Korea!

Also, selling out education is a great way to dumb down a whole generation... and it will probably take more than a generation to correct the problems we create today. And it's not just the USA... many countries in the EU are following in the same direction. Today, getting information isn't the problem, it's learning to see through the information overload and get to the core of the issues at hand. Lot's of smoke and mirrors at play!

@Bezerker & @shodan084 I see your point about choosing similar pix for all the girls, to make a fair judgment, I assumed the voters, here would be familiar with these gals and make their choice based on much more than the examples I posted in the poll.

In order to be truely fair, if people were to vote on just the posted images (please wipe their memories clean, as this will influence them) you would need several photos of each gal, as no matter how beautiful a person is, they have different stengths and weaknesses, so one shot each, all full frontal, would not be any more fair than all full profile shots.

I just threw out some pix that I thought were good examples of why I like that face. As an artist I am probably biased toward the 3/4 portrait because it gives some sense of the profile and depth of the face that you don't get from a full front portait.

Please feel free to post more pictures of your favorites, as I feel it is completely fair to try to influence voters. If my favorite was doing poorly, I would try to find all the most flattering images of her face as I could find and post them. Have fun, as this isn't meant to be taken seriously, as that would be too judgmental.

@Wyld: I agree 100% about dumbing down our generations since we were in high school. We are nearly the same age. In the UK, it all changed the year after I left high school.

I think, anyway that in 1980 or very near that year, the British education system merged two types of education standards into one, effectively dumbing down the required pass standard.

Many years later, in my early 30's, my gf at the time (same age) wanted to study a course at university but needed two more GCSE passes to get in, maths being one of them. I offered to help her as maths wasn't her strong subject. She showed me the syllabus of 50 chunks of maths topics and problems, designed for 16 year olds of the day. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I was taught this stuff between 8 and 12 years old. I aced this whole thing with 100%. I KNOW I did. It was just too easy for me.

Here in Spain, it's even worse. I've met a handful of very smart Spaniards but most others can't do simple addition in their heads. They HAVE to use a calculator for something as simple as, '100 +75 +30.' WTF???

I think it is appropriate to say that we must do better, but it is very dangerous to imagine that there was a past time when things were better. I simply could ask you to go back and look at media and science over the last 200 years and find a time period where ALL HUMANS had a much choice, health, and prosperity as today. More people do better science today because of technology, freedom, and education. You can't just focus on one small arbitrary nation like Britain or France or America, but the world as a whole. Just last century 200 million people were ***** in class and race warfare, and issues like domestic violence, *****, ***** *****, mental health were ignored or even punished. The fact that the above are visible, may give the appearance of a desperate world but by revealing are wounds we have a chance to heal them.

Actually, I know quite a bit about the fight for independence against the British rulers of the time. If I'd been around during the late 1700's, I probably would have been on the American side! I've always been on the side that fights for justice and freedom from tyranny 😇

1st I have to Ask Why?

If you are asking about 2 different Windows Users.

on the PC each User has it's own set of Local folders.

c:\users\USERNAME\AppData\Local

Each User can have it's Own iStripper Account
and All of that Users Data and Models will be kept in their Local Profile.

if you use an External HDD, then each User Must have it's Own set of Folder on that Hard drive.
You Can Not Share files between Users.

If you are asking about the Same Windows User, But that users has 2 iStripper accounts.

There is no Automatic way to keep the accounts separate.
So if the Same Models folder is used, cards can be overwritten.
The Totem Server will keep track of each iStripper account Card purchase so you can always re-download them, But the Local Files might get all corrupted.

You can use different iStripper Accounts on the same PC User, But everything must be Separate.

Well sadly i have to break your bubble but every single photo is photoshopped but besides that you say Gloria got a mug shot i say that was the one picture that was able to capture the true beauty of the entire face while the rest look like they are hiding the less apealing side of their face.
The only reason why i have chosen for Heidi is because i know her face from other photo's and have my very own opinion that she has a better construction then that of Gloria but only by a hairs margine i might add.

Its about the definition if your looking for the most sexy face or most beatiful one.

I'm not saying that it's not a difficult task... or that it's difficult to do. However, you have to make sure that all the pictures are from similar angles and are not photo shopped.

I just feel that Zafira got a glamour shot, while Gloria got a mug shot and Nikky was pulling a face... :)

Does anyone happen to know what parameter in palette.txt controls the colour of the text for the Forum Titles of topics which have been looked at?
It doesn't matter which skin I use, such topic title are such a pale blue colour that I struggle to read them.

I dislike that cards can be removed from the servers. However, I understand why they are removed.

But as mush I dislike cards being removed I dislike keeping them even more if the model has requested them removed. I do not want to have a models card if she is not comfortable with her cards being available.

In other words, I do not want a model dancing on my computer screen if she doesn't want to dance at all.
