I had hoped to make very-few-further posts, but this thread/post left me quite dismayed! I am not sure how these `awards' are determined. Perhaps this has been explained elsewhere, in which case I sincerely apologise. I guess I have been much more opinion-aligned to the previous choices - so remained `silent' on the subject.

It is the disparity of my views this time that makes me question how these decisions are reached. Being a devout iStripper fan I seek to learn more of its mechanisms and its decision-making processes. This enables me to prepare for its future course (as it appears to me) as suggested by those processes.

I am extremely happy to number all of Zoe's very few shows amongst my collection. I thoroughly enjoy these shows and outlaid the credits immediately on release of these cards! So in no way do I seek to detract from the lovely Zoe. I would not surrender up those shows. But I used to analyse all sorts of stuff before retirement - performance measures, sales figures, feedback tracking, etc. So it is second nature for me to question - based upon those alternatives listed below.

I decry - as have others - the passing over of Kristina. Commercially, it must be conceded that she has been scheduled for a second tint at iStripper - as well as having already co-revitalised the Duo card (with the sensational contribution of Dianna)! Zoe can only have an extraordinary `sales' tally, with her too-few-to-date cards, to overcome Kristina's recognised continued appeal and compliment-laden fan-base.

A few candidates, for whom I cannot `understand' their not receiving more favourable consideration for the month's award - and this seemed buoyed by comments about the shows and strewn through Forum remarks - are:
Luna Corazon, who despite (the first time as far as I could find) not having the usual promo-push of a `Backstage' and/or `Fansign'). Again I refer to the first two cards. Forum threads have been lavish in praise and clamouring for her very rapid return (thank you for that, Totem). She, also, had been restricted to XXX cards the first time, which by no means appear to have wide appeal!
Hilary C - whose praise in the comments have almost been universally raptuous. Granted her smile over her last two cards seem less evident - but her performanced has never waned! Her beauty knows no peer!
My absolute personal favourite - Marilyn! Her sultry smile and seductive eye contact is unlike anyone whom I have ever seen - not just on iStripper. Her athletic and fluid moves are right up there with Kristina and Dianne - the new `guard' of iStripper models. And long may they reign!
Carolina Abril - who, of course, has already been acknowledged by this award - but has there - as far as comments are concerned - anyone received, on a return visit, more raucous approbation and adoration?

So based on my doubts - and those expressed by others - may I, please, ask for advice as to how the selection is made? We all have some `investment' in our support of the models we follow!

Is it a vote of all or some team members - or an individual's decision? Is it simply show up-take tally (`sales' totals)? Is a reflection of the new member card `purchases - they paying both the full-price and having the widest selection/choice base (with very few purchases under their belts)? If I was cynical - and just for transparency purposes simply raise it here - is it possibly a commercial/promotional choice?

I do not know about others - although I suspect others will really want to know - but if this is considered a `news' item, it would seem important to explain as to how it is determined.

@MrJacky - I am glad you found it useful. I agree with you that reducing the number of girls visible in this way is more realistic (though how realistic a derelict factory full of strippers is in the first place is another question). I have two suggestions that you may want to try

1) Do not keep the strict pairing of clips, instead give each animate a different period. That way the number of girls visible at any time will be variable which is even more realistic. I tend to use prime numbers (or co-primes like 14 and 15) of seconds or tenths of seconds, for my animation periods to get the longest possible overall repetition period while still keeping each individual clip's repetition period quite small.

2) In my example I used a large positive or negative initial opacity coupled with an equally large opactity variation on the animate clauses. This means that the transitions between opacities of 0.0 and 1,0 (i.e. between fully transparent and fully opaque) are almost instantaneous. If you divide each of these by some factor, say 10 or 100, then you will keep the same overall behaviour but soften the transitions so that they fade rather than suddenly switch on and off (there will still be jumps at one end when the simple loopforward option is used but if you only use pingpong then even these jumps will disappear.

Keep on experimenting and enjoy scene making.

Thanks Emu - I run most full screen modes with multiple girls, which I probably why I didn't notice the primary girl was pulled from the playlist. It seems Totem is especially focused on the primary girl since that is the position that can be changed with Right Arrow now as well. Oh well, it's better than nothing. Thanks again.

@TSYMajic - The S key also works in full screen mode, it does a screen capture putting an image file into your scenes folder.

I thought that playlists did work in fullscreen mode, at least for the principle girl, i.e. the first clip declared in the .scn file.

I read that using Right Arrow during full screen now switches between girls. This is a great feature and made me wonder, are there any other hotkeys that can be used during full screen mode? Also, is there a way to use a playlist for full screen? Full screen currently will only play all active girls in my collection.

To treat all users the same, you can only count the cards that every user can buy. Thus, the 34 cards which are no longer available can not be considered here (filter: Release - unknow).
In the counting the gay cards (VirtuaGay, series Bxxxx) are not counted because most of the users are not interested in these cards.

The counting of the cards in your collection should already be displayed correctly by the software.

An alternative approch to that I showed in my previous post is to have something like a curtain, shutter or door in fron of each performer and move those to alternately hide or reveal them.

Below is a simple test/example scene with 6 pole dancers of which only 3 are ever visible at any one time. The 6 are treated as 3 pairs of which at any instant one will be visible and one invisible. The same overall period is used for all of the pairs but the phasing is varied so that they switch at different times. In the case of the third pair one girl is visible tho thirds of the time and the other for only one third. This is all very crude with the girls just switching on and off, but it shows how to do it.

Instead of 6 seconds for total cycle try longer opacity total cycle time like 37 seconds
Instead of inoutbounce for easing curve try some of the other easing curve names in the chart above.
Instead of starting opacity of clipsprite 0.2 try -20 then animate: clause opacity change like +30 etc.

It takes a lot of trial & error 😊 @Emu can make this work.

clue: check out in below scene what I did with fading in and out the Clip_Namer & apply similar animate clause to your clipsprite starting opacity & animate: opacity change in your scene. Do it for one set of models. Then you stage the opposite opacity starting and change settings for the other set of models. Like half on and half off alternating each pingpong cycle, and so on. Tweek, tweek ,tweek opacity threshold settings for the agreed common total cycle time until it works

yep the counting systems seems to be in a right mess
in store it currently shows that i have 15/3577 cards available to buy
in my collection in the software it shows 3579 cards owned
in my profile here in forum it shows 3562 cards owned

i got refunded on some of the removed cards, and thought they had been removed from my collection total, but guess not

You have to use clipsprite node animate: clause for negative opacities and time each clipsprite to become positive opaque separately within the same overall repeating time cycle for all.
