The earlier card 321 Carmen Gemini Majestic View is currently rated at 8.90

In reply to the earlier comments regarding new cards and their rating, I would have thought that all cards should be listed with a 10 rating then as they get more ratings that 10 would slowly lower to a truly representative level.

I don't think so, they are just giving the second pass of the new releases. It's common routine and the popularity doesn't affect those. It happened before with the Shabba's and Kayla's card. The floor is 8.70. There's no mystery involved in the special offers, other than why they don't let the rotation uninterrupted from start to finish. After the effort of some users to search for cards above the 8.70 mark never offered before, some of the cards in that list started to pop up in the rotation. Let's see if they incorporate the remanent. Unless Totem decide to go below the 8.70 threshold, there will never be other cards at a lower rating as specials.

I think you are exactly right. This is simply the second rotation of the new cards (it will be interesting to see if Andie appears next, since she was skipped on Friday). Other than new cards, the 8.70 mark is clearly the floor.

Does TOTEM think that cards rated below 9 or 8 won't sell well? I, for one, would love to finish my collection of lower ranked cards. ALSO - Do they put that much confidence in the user ratings for each card? Some of the low ranking cards are still pretty good. Sorry to ask 2 questions in one posting. I would like to see more LOWER ranked cards go on sale too. Although, most of the high ranked cards are quite hot.

Interesting questions, @Txmetalhead82K. This is what i think. First, as suspect as the rating system is, most of the high rated girls deserve their popularity status. Some girls have undeserved bad ratings, but i don't think the top ones are badly rated. That said, i think the special system is aimed to lure new users and to motivate the ones with modest collections to purchase cards. The rest of the users are not relevant to the company regarding the specials. Platinums above 200 cards get the worst part of this repeated cycle, but there's the motivation to reach for the VIP status and partially regain the benefits of the old calendar system. You'll likely be ***** to subscribe or spend more. That's good for business. VIPs have little use for the special system. If you run both VGHD and Hustlergirls, you'll get about 60 cards as specials per month + the occasional website deal. The chance to get all at 1 ticket is a VIP privilege.

What makes you believe that? Those cards were not on special neither on VGHD nor HusterGirls (which at that time had already merged it's special with the main site).
