1. I don't think Totem is going back to the old XXX-format, but probably there will be more of those old format XXX-cards since there is demand for those and Totem follows the money.

2. Totem should give information of what you can expect (cliplist). If there are no Standing and Pole clips in the preview you now already more or less that they are not in the card.

3. My preference are f-cards with Standing and Pole clips and a maximum of 10 minutes XXX-table clips.

The amount of xxx has been highly variable for a while now and it's really difficult to know how much you're going to get when you buy a card. Kay J's Victorian Secret was only about 7mins, where Liya Silver's Silver Lining was 21mins. And the actual striptease element is highly variable - some of Angelika Grays' best dance clips were on xxx cards. And I find that sometimes the xxx seems to be a natural extension of the strip act, sometimes it's pretty much independent.

This thread suggests that some xxx lovers are reticent to buy a card that might not have much xxx, where striptease lovers are reticent because it might have too much. I suspect that Totem are shooting themselves in the foot by restricting access to the clip list to people who've bought the card.

The solution, in the ***** of action from Totem, is for more people to include the clip count in the comments section.

I prefer XXX cards with as much XXX content as possible.

Solution is simple: just create a new definition and label, "XXXX" or so, for the few cards who have mostly XXX clips, in order to make them even more desirable for some people, and also to avoid complaints from some others.

If you Have P2P enabled
and there are Active P2P downloads.
when you QUIT iStripper, it will keep the Active P2P connections established till the download is finished or the connection lost.

In the Past, the Desktop app, and the Downloader App were two separate processes.
Both are combined in one now.

In the Past the Desktop app would quit and close,
while the Downloader remained active if you had P2P activity.

What is iStirpper doing when it's Idle?

iStripper is never really Idle.
it is constantly scanning the registry
It phones home regularly
It checks your data folders
It downloads news and updates
It downloads card images and info if checksums don't match
it checks and updates the standard set of full Screen Scenes
It checks and updates all of the Featured tabs.
It's performing P2P functions if you have P2P active
It's updating Previews if you have them Enabled.
So It is always busy in the background, including Disk activity, Internet Activity
It might even be Making you Lunch in the background.

Ok, it's not making you lunch.. just kidding about that.
But it is almost always busy.
It shouldn't be using 50% in the background though.. a few Percent now and then.....



I did experience an issue once, where iStripper kept repetitively downloading the same card images over and over.
and CPU use kept ***** in the double digits, but HD usage was at a constant 100%

Not being able to Write to a file, and Not confirm the checksum, was causing an endless Loop
Download, check CheckSums, CheckSums not match, Download, check CheckSums, CheckSums not match......

that issue has long since been addressed though..

Can't agree here. I prefer XXX cards with as much XXX content as possible.
So this is a great card for me. If you want striptease buy the standard cards and not XXX ones.

I've been using Live Jasmin for about 5 years, beore iStripper made their deal. A lot of models charge 1.99 per minute but many charge more. 2.99 and 3.99 are common and I've seen a few at 5.99. Recently Live Jasmin has started charging extra for cam-to-cam. This can be 1 or 2 credits per minute. Live Jasmin customer support has told me the added charge is up to the model. It can be very expensive.

I'm running version 1.2.243 of iStripper on a 2013 Mac Pro under OSX 10.14.6. I don't see a process mediaanalysisd using Activity Monitor. I did an internet search. This seems to be a Mac problem related to facial recognition. It doesn't seem to be related to iStripper.

Was pretty disappointed this morning to see Liya's new XXX card has NO standing or pole clips. I know this community has had a lot discussions in the past and agreed that a model sitting on a table the entire time does not fit the definition of i"Stripper".

Problem was in Windoze - reboot after making sure no viruses, got iStripper back on the right track.
Puzzling thing was, that the problem only existed for iStripper.

@Z22 Correct - and I did "Quit" from taskbar. Things are called very differently in my language, so I often interchange wording for taskbar and systray. 😉

To create an account, they want an e-mail address, username and password.

if you browse as a guest (no account), you have limited interaction.. and it times out after a minute.
as a member you can chat for free. but if you want explicit you'd have to have credits.
From what i see, buying credits is a little like here (but way more expensive) ... see screen-grab for pricing. They also have special offers for first time buyers (like half price) but you'd need a fistful of cash you can spare. (too much for me)

I have seen onscreen messages showing the model is in a private show.. sometimes it reads Exclusive or Join the Fun so i guess answers the 'other people' question.
dont know any more so ....

Anyway ... it costs nothing to look around.

Hi, I'm not looking to make adjustments do to sound but to improve video quality and to improve scaling. When I change dpi awareness to 1 the UI is unreadably small. That is the reason I have windows set at 300%. Is there a way to let the apps UI use windows scaling and have the clips ignore windows scaling, or to chnge the UI scaling in app? Thank you.

It works correctly for me. If I use Task Manager to monitor the behaviour then using Quit in iStripper's systray icon then the app first moves from the list of active apps to to the list of background processes and then within a second disappears completely. And I have no difficulty restarting it.

If I use "Close Window" from the active iStripper icon on the main part of the taskbar then it moves from the active App list to the background process list - just as it does if you use the normal window close X icon in the title bar. There is no problem in re-opening it.

In all of the cases the CPU usage by iStripper drops to 0% following the Quit or Close. When the app is active, but with no clips playing, the CPU usage is less than usually less than 1% (most often 0%) with peaks of up to about 3% as I cover and uncover parts of its window, but these peaks only last for a couple of seconds. These measurements were done on a 9 year old laptop, not a souped-up high performance system

It looks like whatever the problem is it is not one that affects all systems, maybe there is something odd about yours that is preventing proper shutdown. What version of Windows are you using?

EDIT: I have just seen from your first post that you are running Windows 7. I suspect that is the root cause of your problem. iStripper should run OK under windows 7, but I am not surprised that there are problems when doing so.

No clips playing, disabled, no downloading and P2P off, it uses a fair amount of RAM - around 200Mb - acceptable as a lot of graphics is involved.
But CPU use goes up and down between roughly 10 and 50%.
The is quite a lot resources to use to do nothing - and it is effecting other uses of the PC.
Have restarted and reinstalled, with no change.
(Win7, dual CPU 3.5GHz, 16GB ram)

iStripper Live is an entirely separate product, run by another company, but with iStripper banners. Different girls. Presumably Totem gets a cut.

You may get a certain frisson from knowing that the person you are watching is doing it live. You might get turned on by specific beautiful models, or by certain acts or by girls that share your cultural background. They are all available on webcams and you can use a basic text service to interact with them. If you want them to perform just for you, or even to respond to your messages, the price is a different order of magnitude to iStripper (way higher). You get what you pay for.

I don't see any reason to expect that somebody who enjoys iStripper will pay for iStripper Live. It's like strip clubs or escorts - don't bother unless you've got a fistful of cash to ***** and a specific itch to scratch.

What has been your experience with istripper live? I've never signed up for a webcam show and firstly I'm wondering how much do shows cost. Second, if you go to private show are other people able join? Do you think istripper live is worth looking into?
