After a lot of hard work, and tips and tricks from the lovely members here, I finally have this achievement. And on the lovely Rebecca Volpetti Demon Midi card no less!

In my case synchronizing doesnt update, but restarting the software does, at 9:54 UK time for those who wish to know. And even then, only in the Girls Store.

No changes to shaders, as was not throwing critical errors on my rig.
The thick black border remains intentional so models are 'leaving'

So just a question, not sure if it applies. I use discord now for gaming, etc.. do not plan to ever use it for istripper.. just not a need. BUT with that being said... discord limits the file size of uploads for its free users.. it will increase that file size if you pay a monthly fee for its services (nitro i think its called, not sure). WITH that being said... since discord has a paying options that takes credit cards on a reoccuring basis... im sure mastercard is one of them... are they not subject to this same rule and wont it have the same issues? if you post a pic, they have to verify what ever BS they want verified????? anyone have any insight on this? Because i know as of now, you can post any pic you want as long as you select that you are an adult and its adult content....

Absolutely it will work.
You Must have all of the Data folders, and all of the models folders duplicated.
and in the exact same path as the Original.


1st
when you Connect the Other drive, it may be assigned a different Drive Letter.
You Would have to do one of two things
1) edit the Data setting in istripper so the Path now points to the new Drive letter.
or
2) Use Disk management, and ***** the Drive to use the same drive letter as the original one.
of Course you couldn't have BOTH connected this way.
But that would be in the case that the One failed, and now the Spare, has a Different Drive letter.

2nd
after the Spare drive is connected and you Verify that the Drive letter and Pats are the Same.

Then you would use advance setting, rebuild collection to let iStripper take an inventory of what is on the Drive.

Just a question I was reading through this forum and part of the discussion mentions that an external drive that is disconnected for a period of time may cause the clips to become invalid for some or all of the shows. I have 2 external drives one with my entire collection on it connected at all times and another with the entire collection copied that is never connected. The purpose I had hoped is if god forbid something ever happens to my computer and I lose everything I would have this backup. Is this ultimately not going to work ? I thought maybe I would reconnect once or twice a year to update with additional shows that I have bought.

Same folder on your PC which contains vghd.exe always contains also unins000.exe - even in the case you don't see it on Start menu.

Addendum:

Last weekend, I installed the available Ubuntu software updates that were presented, as usual. When they were complete, iStripper would no longer run--definitely NOT as usual. Uh-oh.

To make a long story short, after a week of troubleshooting, repeatedly re-installing iStripper, Wine, and Ubuntu itself, and debugging with no resolution, I finally came upon the answer: the OpenGL driver had been updated to a version that has a bug that makes it incompatible with older graphics cards. I'm running this on a positively geriatric Dell Optiplex with the onboard Intel graphics chip.

It was surprising that even re-installing the OS would not correct this; it must have been grabbing the latest OpenGL driver during the install. The good news is that there is a simple fix.

If iStripper crashes at launch and your Wine log shows an error that says GLXBadFBConfig, then try editing ~/.pam_environment (create it if it isn't present):

MESA_GL_VERSION_OVERRIDE=4.5

Also, another lesson learned: ALWAYS TAKE A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR SYSTEM BEFORE ALLOWING A SOFTWARE UPDATE.

I repeat: ALWAYS TAKE A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR SYSTEM BEFORE ALLOWING A SOFTWARE UPDATE.

If I had done this, I easily could have reverted back to the previous snapshot and saved myself a lot of grief. Timeshift is a great tool for taking whole system snapshots on a schedule or on demand.

That's just the sort of unique selling point that will establish the iStripper community on Discord. At the moment, the only reason for users to shift is the pictures, which a lot of people can live without. Totem needs to deliver some content, or the whole exercise will dribble to a halt.

And why isn't this topic pinned to the FEATURED area!?

I would say,
The Discord iStripper server is still somewhat in it's beta stage
So it's not been added the the Featured area, until we have all the learning curve and tutorials worked out.

Discord Threads were only released Today the 17th.
So there is a Learning curve to know how to implement them, and to manage them.

I don't need a chat room instead of a forum.

Discord is First a FORUM
but yes it also has DM ( Direct Messaging or Chat ) capability
But that is not how iStripper uses it,

it is almost a direct Copy of this Forum setup.

As a young men and a gamer I'm already on discord for a long time. I've just created a new account especially dedied to iStripper server.The team did a great job. The server is great and easy for newbies. I think the most difficult is the thread mechanic but totem did a tutorial to help you. 👍I encourage the skeptics to join the server. You will be able to communicate with the community and follow the news directly on your smartphone thanks to the app.😉You also can join other servers according to your interests (movies, video games, sports, politics etc...)

Create a New Discord member just for iStripper and Adult Servers
I did not do this, so my Discord member has all my gaming and Adult stuff Mixed together.

If you are new to Discord just for iStripper
but later want to Explore all the Other Discord Forums ( Servers )
Then again, I would give advice to make a new Discord member for these Other Interest
to keep them Separate.

I Have some Friends that would not accept me, if they New I was a Moderator for a Porn Site.
And with Discord, Luckily, I can prevent them from Seeing all the Forums I am a member of.
So they Can't spy on me to learn that I am a member of the iStripper or other adult Forums on Discord.

I set it up to see how looks/works. I've been pretty much done with istripper as a whole about 2 years. I think this just sealed the deal. Discord won't be for me. I don't like any of the thread setups/view. Opening 1 to sift thru many things to find something...Nah not for me. Only thing I see worth it is one on one instant conversing and that's about it.

I have to remember to go through this thread for more awesome music. 😎
