Can anyone check if clip 6 on the Mia Sun - Hot Like The Sun card plays in 4K. As far as I'm concerned this clip skips and doesn't play in either small or large mode? I have downloaded the card twice, according to the procedure. Thanks for your help.

I haven't checked the other resolutions.

in 4K clip 6 - e1539_6144203.vghd has the Bad file size of 33,554,432 bytes it does not play.

it plays in all 3 of the other resolutions, 3K, 1080P, 720P
In 3K it has the Good file size of 45,711,027 bytes
in 1080P it has the Good file size of 34,721,423 bytes
in 720P it has the Good file size of 27,546,638 bytes

Some useless information:
in the data folder, most cards have an XML file.

you will see a section like this:
<id>e1539</id>
<version>2</version>
<resolution>720p,1080p,3K,4K</resolution>
<resolutionSize r720p="622464" r1080p="787942" r3K="1042089" r4K="1534942" />

the resolution size is in KibiBytes which is equal to bytes divided by 1024

further down in the XML file is this section
<show>
<duration>60499</duration>
<size>637403611</size>

size is in bytes for the 720p resolution.

this is the size of the files in the Models folder.

Both the ResolutionSize and the Size, include ONLY the files ending in .vghd
do not include any of the .demo files or other files

so to check the file size.
select ALL of the files that end in .vghd, right click on them, and check the properties.
it will report the Size of all the files combined in Bytes.
then divide that number by 1024, and that gives the size in KibiBytes.

for the 720p card the size in bytes is: 637403611
(637403611 / 1024) rounded up is 622464 KibiBytes

Thats about all you need to know about the file size and the XML file.

Clip 6 is unplayable for me too at 4K. I deleted and redownloaded the clip and it still refuses to play.

I just tested and same thing with my 4K download. Clip #6 gets skipped here as well :(

I can confirm. 3K resolution doesn't play the card Mia Sun - Hot Like The Sun and others. Now I download 4K again to see.

Not sure about 4K but Mia Sun = Hot like the Sun clip 6 @1080P works for me. (I just downloaded it) It appears to last the 91 seconds it is listed at.

I save in the lowest ( 720p) for my Potatoe laptop
and in the Highest Available for the card, for my Desktop.
(some in 720p, 1080p, 3k, and 4k )
and of course the classics in 480p

So mostly two different resolutions per card.
720p, and then whatever is the highest resolution that card has available.

Do you save your cards only in the highest resolution or in all formats: 4K, 3K, 1080p and 720p?
I can say that it requires a lot of space to save in all resolutions.

You will want to backup the card folders from BOTH models and data (data has the displayed static images for the cards). The folders you want are e1537 through e1542.

Have you tried the passthrough and transparant options in Virtual Desktop when using in VR?

Yes I tried this, I think @WA commented on similar. I found that dark parts of the model were being read as transparent and with a Quest 2 the passthrough is low quality black and white.

So for now I prefer creating many different 3D background locations for the models in full screen.

One thing I would like to be able to do is to increase the size of the display in Virtual Desktop beyond the current maximum without bringing it closer.

I bought all her shows in the past. I suppose I will have them forever in my collection.

These are regular shows that have been projected onto a 3D VR background.There are lots of posts on the topic in here; https://www.istripper.com/forum/thread/27449/160and other threads.

Have you tried the passthrough and transparant options in Virtual Desktop when using in VR? The transparant plus passthrough makes black desktop background completely seethrough. I set my desktop to solid black with do not show desktop icons, also make sure no direct light behind model, works best in evening or fairly dim room with closed doors/windows. the result is your regular iStripper show being shown in your living room in faux AR. You can then place the show whereever you want in your space using various move and resize options in virtual Desktop and have the girls (with no background or fullscreen screesaver) dancing in your living room in human size. You can even shrink her down and place her to dance on your physical table or chair.

I always buy the New Years toast card so no surprise that card is on the list.

Very understandable, especially for a younger model (18 at time of shows). Good luck to her in her new career. Kudos to the iStripper team for the prompt notice and time given to customers.
