The process you outlined is how it is supposed to work - and which worked for me the first time I reinstalled.

However, depending on how many installs you already have then you may first need to uninstall one of the old ones (or have it cancelled by a moderator). Or you can copy the Models folder first, uninstall the old version and then install on the new computer. If you do this you can then either move the copied files to where iStripper wants them or can use the settings page to make iStripper use them wherever you have put them.

Copying the models before uninstalling and reinstalling also has the advantage that you can still use your old installation while you copy the files so there need be no extended period when you don't have access to your whole collection.

I now have my models folder on an external drive (with a second as backup) so I don't need to copy the models folder - which can take quite a few hours for a large collection.

Remember to also copy any user created fullscreen scenes that you may have, and any picture sets and bonus videos that you may have downloaded.

Thanks for the info... is it a problem to download istripper on the new PC and log into that account with my user name and password to get my account, even if i still have it installed on the old PC? Just concerned that would look like two profiles on two computers and wouldnt let me access it...

My thought process was this.
Download the Istripper on new computer and logg in with username and password.
See my account on new computer
Move models folder over to where I have Istripper installed on the new computer
Then click rebuild collection, it should then see all the models i have and shouldnt have to download.
Pray it works....

While I appreciate Wyldanimal all your info, i am hoping not to have to mess with the registry if at all possible... IF i run into problems... I will watch your videos and follow your guide to a T. I will try the above way unless you see a major problem with doing it this way or if Totem wont allow this to be done this way... I will be attempting this over the weekend as my new PC just came in today.....

If it is a Standard Install where the Folders for the Models and Data folders are NOT customized.

Note: This is for Advanced Users, it's my method of duplicating a working install on to a New PC.

On Current PC
use regedit
export the current Totem Branch to a file

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Totem

export the Version branch to a file

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Stdin2

use regedit to Import the files to the registry

You will now have a copy of all of your iStripper settings on the new PC
Use regedit to delete the values stored in the following Keys
in the branch

Now Copy All the Files from the Data Folders from the Old PC to the New PC

We will Copy the Models Folders after we install and Get iStripper Running.

Now that the Data has been Copied
lets Install iStripper
make sure you know your Username and Password.

Now your Entire Collection Will Show as NOT downloaded.
We will fix that after we make sure all is working.

Select a single card and Download it.
Then make sure it will Play.

Now that you know the card plays and the Installation is Working...
Quit iStripper
Copy All of the Models Folders from the Old PC to the New PC

This could Take a Really Long time ( days.. even more than a week )
So you can do this all at once, or in Small Batches...

After you copy the models ( even after a small batch )
Start iStripper
go to Settings, Advance Settings
then Rebuild Collection. Wait How ever Long it takes for it to finish...

It may do the rebuild all on it's Own... Like it just did now...

The Models you Copied will Now Show as being Downloaded.

WHY I use the Registry Export and Import:
Over the years I have done the Install of Test Accounts on Multiple PCs many times.
I have discovered that I got the Best results by Coping the Registry from an Existing Working Install
to a New PC, and then Delete the Installation Key Values eliminated many of the Issues that I'd have if I didn't start with a working registry.

So when ever I duplicate a working copy to a new PC, I copy the registry.

I also make sure that I edit the PATHS before I install iStripper, if I'm using Custom Paths on the New or Old PC.

If you ONLY use the Standard paths, then you don't need to edit the Paths...

Now that you know everything is working on the New PC, you can remove the files from the old PC

On the preview card/image, Totem should add a contextual menu with delete.

The only things that you need to copy is the Models folder and any of the bonus items (videos, picture sets and fullscreen scenes - especially any user created ones) that you have downloaded. You could also copy the remaining contents of the Data folder but the data there does not take long to download anyway so there is little point in doing so.

You can do the copying berfore or after installing on the new system - its slightly less error prone if you do it after installing as you can then make certain that you are copying the files to the right places, but if you are copying anything from the data directory be careful not to overwrite the newer files with the old ones.

If you keep the models folder on an external drive you do not even need to copy it at all, just point iStripper to the external drive.

I do not create my own backgrounds - I am a terrible artist.

I mainly used pictures that I find via Google image search after restricting it to only display royalty free images (I see that they have changed that area of the program since I last used it so now the choice is between Creative Common and Commercial licenses, the choice used to be worded differently).

A search for "free image sites" will also turn up some useful resources.

A few of the backgrounds are my own photographs (such as the Woodland Border).

I use Gimp to edit them - sometimes adding objects found elsewhere to an existing image (e.g. the sentry box in the Woodland Border scene).

No, its only on one computer... and i am using windows... and Yes.. Wyldanimal has helped me many times in the past with other tech problems.. this is just the first time i will be moving everything to a new computer...
but thanks for the help... I just dont want to screw anything up.... like not moving a folder i need to move before i format the old PC....

If you're using a Mac, I can provide some help. The expert on these matters is @Wyldanimal. If you aren't using an external drive to store your collection, all you need to do is copy the VGHD folder from you old computer to the new one and sign on to iStripper from your new computer with your current user ID and password.

If you have iStripper installed on more than one computer, you should uninstall it from your old computer before signing on to the new one. However, the moderators can fix this if you forget to uninstall.

Not sure if this is the right area for this question, but i know we have several people that help with istripper tech questions and I am about to get a new computer and this will be the first time i will be attempting to transfer my files over so i dont have to redownload everything... what I need to know is... does someone have a guide or steps on how to do it? I will be hooking the two computers up to each other, but what i dont know is how to exactly get my istripper account over to the new computer. Do I just download istripper on the new computer, log in (will have to find my username and password which i should have). Then transfer the model folder over? Do i transfer other folders as well? I just dont want to have to redownload every single model I have so if anyone can let me know what i need to do to make this as painless as possible???? And if this is the wrong section, please feel free to move it to the proper section to ask this question...

I have been experimenting with shadows doing as you suggested with the rectangle (a quad) instead of the clip sprite and you are right it is much easier to ***** the shadows and it's placement but it is still very tricky to get the effect needed. Mind you with a little more tweaking I may find a solution after all. I also like your suggestion about using semi-transparency and using different colors instead of the black shadows I've been using. Unfortunately Sandi's friend flew down from Calgary for the weekend so I won't be able to continue experimenting until Monday as we will be very busy unless I can find a little free time to slip away lol.

Sandy does all of the graphic editing for all the scenes even with some of the royalty free pics we found online. She did an amazing job extending the deck and filling in the gaps in the treehouse series and re-editing the Lesbian Orgy scene as it was just a rectangular single bunk bed pic that was a smaller with the pole directly in the center of the bunk beds and she did a great job creating the Naked News scene from scratch using Gimp in which was her 1st attempt while learning that software. But after checking out some of your files we noticed the 3D rendering is what we should be more focused on as the quality of the pics you used are outstanding compared to what we have been designing.

We are learning Blender 3.1 mostly because it's free and there are a lot of free textures and objects but there's still a lot to learn and the textures and objects we really wanted comes at a cost unless we learn to create them from scratch which is very time consuming. She managed to create a bedroom scene following a tutorial on Youtube as an experiment to learn how to create rooms but the elements and objects we had didn't really satisfy what we wanted to accomplish but at least we now understand the basics on how to create rooms using Blender. We really want to design a futuristic strip club and so forth. lol

We also plan on creating some other futuristic sci-fi scenes for some future projects we have in mind and was inspired by Miwd scenes with the blue and green aliens which we thought were really cool. Finding the right textures and objects with Blender again comes at a cost unless we learn how to do it ourselves. Out of curiosity what rendering program did you use when creating scenes? Like in your house series the graphics were amazing and super clear. We sure could use some advice when it comes to creating 3D background pics.

Hopefully we can finish fixing all of our scenes by the end of next week hopefully sooner. I'm still having issues with the water shader for the camping scene and I can't seem to get the proper slightly rocking motion wanted for the boats especially the one near the shoreline because of the tall grass in front of it but I am still working on it. We may have to cut the grass hehe and replace that boat. I haven't really had the chance to tweak it out yet as we have been primarily focused on fixing all of our scenes one at a time. Our next fix will be the Naked News scene as we are going to add more backgrounds for the center screen but we kind of want to add something extra for that scene. Maybe we are trying too hard and overthinking it for that scene but it still looks a little flat to us especially in the foreground. I was thinking about maybe adding some studio camera's in the foreground and possibly changing the flooring which may be the fix we need for that scene. Would you have any advice for us to make that scene even better or do you find it is fine as it is? We did fix the name sprites of course. What did you think about the lighting? We tried to make the little white lights change at random times but maybe we could have made them a little brighter. The spotlights are cool but the lighting of the image doesn't give it justice for the effect we desired.

Sorry for all of the questions! We just don't want to have to go through what we have been through within the last few weeks with fixing everything we submitted lol. We learnt a valuable rookie lesson that won't be repeated in future releases. All of our scenes are free to modify if anyone desires to do so to make them even better. That is what they are there for and considering we are just in the learning phases of scene development we can learn from any modifications done to any of them. Just let us know so that we can enjoy them even more and learn from the modifications.

I have been having a lot of fun watching Ellie's card for a day or so. She is really enjoying herself in this card. I have seen her do some explicit finger and dildo stuff, strip naked, and wash the window.

Did anyone notice what she does with her tongue while washing the window? That is a first for me.
I have no problem with that activity and like seeing it.

She has a beautiful and perfect body that I love seeing over-and-over-and-over.

I have played nothing but this one card (desktop mode). I really am a bit impatient for her next card and the one after that. I hope none of her cards become SEC.
