I had a big laugh recalling this scene... especially because I was in a little corner of the stands, back in 81.
At the time (sigh... happy young memories...), I had a Scottish girlfriend who was also an invited student in my university, in Lille.
As I discovered later, she had a wealthy and distant father (her, absolutely not mine). She knew I was poor like most students are, and totally in awe of Borg but could not see him, no seats. She invited me for the only possible match with McEnroe, and I sneaked to London from Calais, crawling on my bicycle - not enough money for my 2cv car on the Sealink ferry - , and it was one of the peak memory in my life...

2 geniuses - especially one - playing a dream tennis. And the "gasp" from the very distinguished noble royal perfectly-mannered totally-frigid a-nice-cup'o-tea British crowd.
Now, this kind of burst (and the umpire totally lost!) is something rather mild and seen repeatedly on tennis courts, with many many more destroyed rackets. But at the time, it was like Nielsen sliding down a table on his belly until stopped between the legs of the (actor) Queen.
For many there, it was *****. A pure shame. An absolute no-no. A devastating experience. The Alien ***** emerging from a live stomach would have been less disturbing...

I think I lost my girlfriend toward this time. I could not stop laughing at what happened, and it was sooooo shocking for her... that she quickly understood staying more with me was not appropriate for a Nessie clan...

First I would prefer a direct communication with the buyers and not just an announcement in the forum, where everyone has to check themselves if they bought a set.

I agree. At the very least there ought to be simple and obvious way to check if you own any of the withdrawn cards and if so which can still be downloaded and which can not.

I say simple and obvious because the current ways of checking are neither simple nor obvious. There used to be a simple way of performing the first check (using the None option for the release date filter) but that is no longer available and even when it was available it was not an obvious way to perform the check, nor did it distinguish between those that could be downloaded and those that had gone forever.

I also wish that when a card is withdrawn that the card image was not deleted from the data folder as happens for some of them. I don't think that this is deliberate choice by Totem but is just a side effect of how the program handles regular updates to the data in these folders which seems to detect differences and if there are it deletes files before downloading their replacement.

I have two things I don't like about the removal.

First I would prefer a direct communication with the buyers and not just an announcement in the forum, where everyone has to check themselves if they bought a set. I mean, you can send advertisement by mail, send notes in the app for achievments and offers, but not when a bought set will be removed?

And with the removal, customers who bought the cards do have disadvantages. While other sets you can download anytime again, for removed sets you always have to take track which sets were removed and carefully make your own backup.
Personally I would prefer that only the sale of the set is stopped or a general refund of the costs. As the downloaded content is still there, it's no complete deletion of the content anyway, but only wishful thinking of the model.
Or how should a refund work if I lose some of backups in 5 years? Some sets I downloaded other sets are currently not on my disk, so I could only say, I want a refund, but you have to find out for what.

As nice as it is for models to back out of the erotic business, as many problems it brings for customers of the content.
The announcment a few days ahead is ok, but could be handled better.

legendary #1: 25201 Dolz (right now as I watch)
= 25201 Dolz * $0.01176 = $296.36
However, because you cannot buy dolz with dollars, you must first buy other crypto whose exchange rate changes
You have to convert this to Dolz (and Matic for fees). Or buy Matic right away if you succeed.
So how much dollars you ultimately paid for it depends on various transactions along the way and fees.

The people with lots of Dolz (who invested early on in the launch phases) are coming in high with the aim to win the rarer levels and give themselves something to sell later. Some people have bid multiple times across all levels.

We are already seeing the "cascade" effect - if a bidder has seen their bid eclipsed at the higher level, they are cascading down to the lower level and bidding high at that level (if you were willing to pay 1000 at Legendary, you are probably willing to pay 1000 at Epic if it improves your chances of getting the card).

Lots of different strategies in play 😊

@WyldAnimal was out quite quick from the blocks and went straight into third place with a bid of 3350 white elephants but he's starting to flag now and has dropped out of the running.

Big whale Filathiel is currently the front runner with a bid of 13000 Flying Pigs

Over in the little leagues there's a real tussle in the Epic race with all 15 spots taken. You're going to have to dig deep to join them. 750 Spanish Flies just to get a mention.

The other races are still looking a bit sleepy, the jockeys aren't jockeying at all but it's a long race and there's plenty of time yet.

If you want to change it on your own copy it's quite straightforward just edit the scn file and remove the first two clip name sprites on lines 953 and 974 and leave the second two permanent ones attached.

scenes 19 and 22 are very demanding

Indeed. When I'm reviewing shaders for inclusion it's a playoff between canning ones that run slow or putting up with a few seconds of slowness to enjoy their awesomeness. When the background fades into a new one, your PC is having to run the full code of two shaders fully at the same time whereas the rest of the time it's just idling along doing very little.

Is the problem throughout those scenes or in the first or last second when it's fading in/out ?

If it's really a problem and you don't mind getting your hands dirty you could swap out those scenes from the scn file for a repeat of a different one

...or chop the last two scenes so there's 48 instead of 50 and paste the shader file names from 49 and 50 over the offending ones at 19 and 22

If you did reduce the number of scenes you'd need to use a text editor to search and replace all occurrences of this :

uniform: maxbgnum, float, 50

and replace it with...

uniform: maxbgnum, float, 48
