I have never wanted a full collection. The price increase will make me more selective in my purchases such that I suspect i will spend no more money here than before the increase.

With over 3,000 cards in my collection, I sometimes think about just enjoying those without further purchases.

I think Totem will be fine in any case as they reap profits from those who buy SEC and NFTs as well as huge gains from outfit auctions.

I highly recommend adding a "card recycling" function.

This as been requested, in various forms, several times before. It is unlikely to implemented as it would not appear to benefit Totem to do so. You could try looking for the old forum threads to familiarise yourself with the perceived pros and cons of this idea.

I highly recommend adding a "card recycling" function. I have many cards from events, but I don't like them. So I don't participate in the events now even though I really like the SEC. Because I don't want random cards anymore. The possibility to recycle a small amount of credits (10-20% of the purchase price) and remove cards we don't like from our collections would probably be welcomed by many users with OCD. And "Card recycling" could motivate users to participate in events to get SECs.😉

If you want to know which of your cards have been withdrawn then go to your Collection tab, disable all filters and then use the View menu to cause them to be sorted by their Date Of Release. The withdrawn cards have no release date and are displayed at the start or end of the list depending on whether you have them displayed in ascending or decending order. Once you have identified them be sure the files for these cards in particular are fully backed up.

No they are not. Every week 7 cards are released for sale, if the SECs had been released as regular cards then an equal number of other cards would not have been released.

I look at very simply. It's not about the price of the card sold or the number of cards sold; it is about the revenue a card generates and the time it generates revenue. In other words you can sell 10x of a card for $1,000 and have $10,000 in revenue or sell 100,000 of a card at $1 each and generate $100,000 in revenue. Totem has to figure their way on the curve selling the max number of cards at the max price. I'm not sure what my max price would be but it is well below $1,000 and even if the cards were $0.01 (1 US cent) I wouldn't buy the all because I don't want all of them. That's just me, quite obvious everyone will have their own limits.

And really it has nothing to do with the shows themselves but the credits required to buy them. It's not complicated if they are adding buyers and current members are still buying then revenue is increasing organically and if not then revenue is declining or stagnant and possibly not keeping pace with increased expenses .

I don't care about the price increase; in fact if it made the exclusives go away I would welcome it. As it is for me now, it simply means I'll skip a show or two I might have bought or spend a small precent more to get all the shows I want. The exclusive cards do annoy me so I'm not buying anything right now.

Getting back to the topic, why would Totem keep doing exclusive content if it's not generating enough revenue to avoid having to raise the price which if obviously is offending more than a few members. They are taking many of the best cards out of the catalog so those of us ***** to participate in the 'games' (for lack of a better or nicer word) can't buy them at all and shrinking the catalog. Loosing members and limiting the catalog probably isn't good for revenues so one has to hope the exclusives can compensate,

I have no insight to the balance sheet so maybe loosing a few members or some members buying less but getting more per card will work out. What is offensive is the possibility they need more revenue to pay for its latest 'game'.

With a full collection, I got every card
365 cards in a year.
I got a 45% discount and the Premium Discount on top of that.
I got credits when they were $99.99 for 1100 plus an extra 20% so
1320 credits for $100
or 0.075 per credit, 7 and 1/2 cents each..

so it would cost
25 x 0.55 x 0.80 = 11 credits x 0.075 = 0.825, 82 and 1/2 cents per card
and for a full Year of cards
0.825 x 365 = $301.125
round it up to $302

$302 for a full year of cards.


Now with the Increase...
30 x 0.55 x 0.80 = 13.2 credits x 0.075 = 0.99, 99 cents per card
and for a full Year of cards
0.99 x 365 = $361.35

an Increase of $60 per Year..

I think that the effect of having the SECs available only as prizes has the effect of increasing the participation in the games such that although when you play the games the users may, on average, end up paying something like the normal rate for any cards that they purchase they also, on average, end up buying more of them than they otherwise would - we know thatthere are people who ***** about winning cards they would never have bought directly.

The average cost per card via the games may not be more than when buying the same cards directly, or it may even decrease, but if more are "sold" as a result of the SECs then that makes them profitablet. Of course if the average cost of winning a card is greater than that for buying one the effect of SECs will be even higher.

I don't have a problem with the price increase but the only tolerable thing about the exclusive cards was the thought that Totem was using those to crank up profits. If the exclusive cards are not extremely profitable then why do it?

I haven't bought credits in a very long time but think I will when the offer and my feelings about Totem improves; I was thinking by Christmas or New Years there will be enough shows I can't live without and a offer that compels me. It looks like even if there is a deal it will now cost me more in the future than it would today. Most of the cards I want are DOLZ cards (many are not yet released) and that's never going to happen so there is no urgency to buy now; I will pay more per card later and certainly buy even fewer cards. I plan on making my next credit buy last me at least a couple years.

The increase (to me) will be 1.25 credits (25 - 45% = 13.75. 30- 50% = 15) so ... 12.5 cents per card

I bet you all still go and fill your car with gas/petrol even when the price increases 35 cents (or more) OVERNIGHT.

Buy what you can afford and enjoy ... dont blame Totem for passing on increasing costs, it's how business works.

Some people seem suprised that others are a bit upset at the price rise. I will qualify for one of the new levels, but I will still pay more for each card.

For mine, it's an unwelcome reality of life. I don't think the product has fundamentally "evolved" for years. That's not a bad thing - it's a great and unique product. Sure resolutions have improved, but the basic product of shows on your desktop hasn't.

I agree with some that trading cards etc. are dumb and not core product (I wanted the option removed from the UI!), so it doesn't sit well with me that the money spent on "evolving" the product into this area has contributed to the price rise (maybe?).

I read that as it being a bonus when having the removed cards in your collection. If you don't have them, you just need to get all the cards available. So, according to you, almost every business that I have interracted with over the last few years is indulging in the poor business practice of raising prices to counteract rising costs. Well *****, good thing I didn't renew my Premium Status @ $60 the other day. I thought about it but this hobby is hard enough to afford as is and I'm not in the best of finacial status. I keep up my collection because I don't want it to get behind. All I'm missing of the Istripper cards is some SECs but I still have a bunch of old Virtuagirl cards not collected yet. Standard cards cost me 13.75 currently with the overpriced "special" cards costing 16.50 (many of which leave me questioning why they command the extra price). So now in order to keep up with my collection I'm now going to be paying 15 credits each and cosplay will be 17.50? Are credit card and paypal buyers going to be given a better deal than the 600 credits for $50 on bonus sales? Because this is starting to sound like something becoming unaffordable for the same standard product already being offered at a lower rate. It just seems illogical that your company costs have inflated considering there is no physical product or shipping. It's all digital and can be deleted at the push of a button. Are we getting bigger porn stars like Angela White or Lana Rhoades? Or is it because the big bosses in the company need a second yacht or a 4th vacation to Dubai next year? The 50% off thing is better than my current 45% but is it really when it will cost me an additional 37.50 credits per month? When I had premium I was paying 11 credits each so this is going to be an additional 4 credits each or 120 per month for the same product offered at current rates. Let me try to answer all your questions :

1/ No change for the current Premium offer

2/ your VIP levels have always taken the Special Event Cards into account. It will also be the case of the level MASTER et the honorific title of Elite

3/ For the honorific title of Elite which will unlock for free a membership to iStripper mobile : it will be re-evaluated every 10 days and cut in case you don't own max cards. It will then come back once you reach the max again.

4/ the cards removed from catalog but in your collection are taken into account in the counting. Some of you have more cards in their collection than the # of cards available, and will see for ex in their profile: 6100/5900. This will grant them the Elite title.

I don't mind the price increase and the new levels, which means I will pay a credit or two more than before. That's fine.

I do hope that the NFT-focus will get re-evaluated and we will see exciting new developments for the core product.

Now to that "small downside" i have talked about before.

Prior the iStripper Client Version 1.2.376 i have used this "rebuild Collection process" several times already,
and aslo for testing purposes to makes sure that it will work every time the same way, just in case.

The issue was that some of the Shows which are only provided in 1080p resolution,
were crashing the Client with a specific Clip during Fullscreen Mode.

I loaded this specific Clip into the "Next Playing area" to reproduce/Bruteforce the error,
and it was happening again.

From what i recall it was the case for two Shows from Little Caprice "Into Temptation" and "Red Is My Colour".

After the installation and rebuild Collection process with the Client Version 1.2.376 it was also the case and
the first time for a 3K Show, and the one was from Paula Shy "Provocatrix".

But the solution was not that far away for it.

I deleted the Show in the Software by using the Trash Can icon on the Card image.

I navigated to the location with the Animation Files to delete the whole Folder for the Show,
which is still there even you delete the Show in the Software.

Back to the Software and using the "Synchronize with Server" Button in the Settings.

Then i Downloaded the Show again, and that specific Clip nor the whole Show was not crashing
the Software any more.

First of all i always synchronized my Data Directory with rsync since i started to modify
the iStripper Client wit Custom images, Skins and Fullscreen Scenes.

Install the Software and start it.

Go to Settings, tick the "Advanced Settings" Box.

What do you think discounts offered by any business are for. It is not to be nice to their customers but to increase profits by increasing the number of sales to offset the reduction in price. If a business concludes that the the increase in sales would be small, particularly if it was too small to compensate for the price reduction, then they should not offer the discount.

You analogy isn't accurate. You do not have a subscription to totem. You make a choice whether to buy a card or not and even the premium is with explicit knowledge that you may not want all of the cards in the month, although totem is nice enough to tell you what is coming for the next 40 days. If you were running a company and there were slight to moderate variations in quality you would have to make a choice...give a discount and acknowledge that the hard work of your studio is subpar and create a culture in the office and above that honest mistakes cost the company money. Or you tell the customers that the cards are not to normal quality due to an honest mistake and they can make a choice or not to buy at full price. Choice 1 costs the studio money guarenteed. Choice 2 give the customer a choice to skip the card or pay full price as many customers may not care about slight variations in quality.
