LAXXX

This is my first attempt at sharing a full screen scene. The scene is set for three
girls preforming in an almost empty LAX terminal. There is a main center performer
along with two background girls on the left and right. The main central lady is
also displayed on two LAX monitors. Both of the background dancers along with the
monitors have their reflections mirrored on the floor.

There are just two main images. The background (which I shot at LAX and modified
for the monitor use in Photoshop) along with a mask image. Also included are the
two LAXXX logo images.

The scene and images were setup for use on my 1920 x 1080 PC display so not sure
how they will work out when used on other size monitors. Feel free to modify and
use in any way you wish.

As you can see, my favorites have boobs and no f**king tatoo. Very rare now
unfortunately.

VG will add Models to the End of the Path you select.

So when Picking out an Existing path that Already has a models folder,
you would Pick the parent, or the folder one Higher than the models folder.

If you picked the Models Folder, then VG would create a Second Models folder
and you end up with what you experienced.

D:\Virtugirl\vghd\models\models\

Getting a 2nd Models folder...

I've managed to solve the issue. Even though when setting the new storage location in the software it would go to that location if you clicked on the button to change storage location, The path it wrote to the registry was a little screwed up and when I changed it to what it should be everything is now working.
The path that it wrote to the registry was something like this
D:/Virtugirl/vghd/models\models\ where as it should have been D:\Virtuagirl\vghd\models

Hi All,

All my shows were stored in the default location C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\vghd\models However my C drive was running out of space and I moved all the contents to the model directory to another internal drive
D:\Virtuagirl\vghd\models and then set the storage folder to the new path.
I've rebooted the machine, updated the software synchronized with the server several times but none of my shows play.
Have a missed a step? what do I need to do?

Many girls on your list were on my original list but were cut to make room. As I transcribed your list, each name was like a dagger in my heart, "oh, why did I leave her out?" I am astonished that Angelica Kitten has received no votes so far. She is not the only one.
I may have to do yet another revision, simply to ease my conscience.

Only 1 card from Ria Rodriguez, what is the deal with that? Will she be back for more VG shows? If not, why not? She is one of the most sexiest models since Melissa, in my opinion. If she has only one card it would be very disappointing. Ms Lynna and the return of Anissa Kate and Isizzu almost make up for it, almost.

Your idea is good. I've posted it as a suggested improvement in the Ideas forum.

I don't know of a way to search on the hotness level of a card you don't own. If you own a card, the .xml file in it's data folder has a numeric hotness level code that indicated the highest hotness level for that card. As an alternative, you can examine the third digit from the right of each clip number to see the hotness level of that clip. Doing this can give you a count of the number of clips in a card at each hotness level. I wrote a script to do this on my Mac and load the results into an Excel spreadsheet. Here is a very small sample of the results.

I find this to be an impressive endorsement of Totem's choice of models to feature.

@member84392371, my first impression was a little off. 3 of your unique girls were cancelled by another member choosing them, reducing your unique number to 11. Meanwhile, new voter Vette99 has 9 unique girls himself, to be breathing down your neck.

As more new voters post though, it will be ever harder to retain unique selections.

@lezardo I did not know OSX was case sensitive in the coding. I will have to change my shaders folder from /shaders to /Shaders..

As mentioned by Lezardo, be careful of your Use on Integer Numbers 5 100 -10 Integers have no decimal points.

Most of the formulas require floating point number and it's always best to include the Zero.
5.0 100.0 -10.0 0.1

If I make use of Variables that you can adjust, they are all Floats unless I note that it should be an Integer with No Decimal point.

The MAC will error if an Integer is used where a Float is needed.

But it seem the Windows version allows it in same cases.
Get in the Habit of using the Decimal point and the Zero.

@Beast: Thank you so much for that. I just had a quick look at your changes and played around a little. NOW I can see much more potential with this. You are a star!

@lezardo: Thanks for the info too:) I thought it was a little strange using backslashes but just about every scene I've looked at uses them so I thought it was the standard. I tried switching to forward slashes a few times and yes they do work fine on Windows :) From now on, I'll use forward slashes (/).

@ET: displacedVertex.y = 100.0 * sin( u_Elapsed len *5);

I speeded things up by changing to 100 x sin and the u_Elapsed plus len x5.

You can slow it down by deleting the x5 and/or reducing the 100 to 10 or so :) If you change everything to really low numbers, you just get a flat line!

3D cameras and shaders, huh? Nice one buddy! You REALLY like to zoom out I see ;)

Gonna have a play with Beast's tweaks now. Laters :D

A great first start @Hombre ! i wish I had more time at the moment to get into this but as I said in my PM things got a little pear shaped here lately. I tried to slow down your movement a little using float time = u_Elapsed 40.; but to no avail. I don't like having to specify 2D camera in the scn file because I like to get right back from a scene Zpos when composing scene textures together.

Being able to run TheEmu = ZZZ Testing - Flame.fsh fragment shader in a Quad worked with 3D camera. Oh well..Keep on testing changes, thats the key sure ;)

Edit: tried to type a plus sign between u_Elapsed and 40 above here but for some reason the plus doesn't show up :(

@Rita: ET, ZZ, No.6 and myself have made quite a few tweaks to this scene. The best so far imho is the animated floor/shader version :) This takes ET's scene without the chairs into a whole new dimension! Zebrazuk added a shader to the floor and it's a great party scene! Scroll back to page 7...

Ok. Been playing some more with mixing fragment and vertex shaders. Again, this is far from perfect but for any newbies to this stuff, it's a fun place to play!

I've added notes in the .vsh and .scn files. You just need to play with all of the parameters to see what happens. Some are tame and others are wild! This looks like a graphic equalizer with the vertex shader intruding on the fragment shader.

From the simple code supplied by @lezardo, it looks like the vertex shader needs a background image to work. You can change this to any image you want :) Play with it.

Yup, you're right, buddy! What I made yesterday wasn't worth sharing for a good scene. I switched out the grass.png for another starscape background and got some really nice effects but still it wasn't good enough for a really nice scene.
