you can still use the VGHD/DeskBabes sites to do the same thing until such time iStripper for MAC is better equipped. iStripper uses exactly the same database servers and reads the same user records.

I downloaded iStripper software last week. It worked fine in the beginning, and then I bought new cards, tried downloading them but failed. The message I get is 'queued' and then download '*****'. It did download the free preview clips, but not full shows. I tried using different IPs using a VPN, to no avail. Can someone from the team help?

Tough question that I think very few people will be able to answer definitively. Personally, I have a standard 40" Samsung LCD 1080P TV and I always download everything in UHD/3K here. Some have said that using 3K on a 1080P screen gains nothing in quality. On a 40" screen, I beg to differ. I CAN see a difference in image sharpness and will continue to download in 3K.

On a 4K screen, I'm betting that the clips will look even more awesome! So, I would say buy the best you can afford and download the highest res available for your favourite cards :)

And i dont mean better quality at different resolutions on the same monitor i mean different resolution monitors at the same resolution option in the software.

example

UHD option choosen on a 1080p monitor compared to UHD option choosen on a 4k monitor.

What will be first?

I asking this becuase atm i am using an 1080p 3d monitor. Im thinking of upgrading to either 1440p 144hz or 4k 60hz Monitor.

I am wondering is the quality of models ON SCREEN at different resolution 1080p/1440p/4k any better.

What i mean is like playing certain games at different resolutions. For example playing a certain game at 1080p is fine but playing the same game a 4k the quality sharpness is ALOT better.

Is the sharpness of the mobels in 4k or 1440p alot better than in a 1080p resolution. And if some have a 4k montior does the models go all the way to the top of the screen when in UHD mode.

Basically someone which has had a 1080p monitor and now has a 1440p or 4k and comapre the difference in sharpness/quality.?

I was wondering if anyone could help me with this.

I recently got a new computer, and reinstalled VG on it, but the way the shows play now is different.

On my last computer the shows were small clips, max a minute or so, and then they went away and next girl started however long i had the intervals at.
But now its one continuos show, the same girl playing one clip after another.

So is there some setting im missing where i can limit how long one girl is on?
I mean so that after one clip of a girl ends, the next clip is a new girl and plays at whatever interval ive set it to later?

Yea, two bad things too I did discover.

1) I had gone through all the Full Screen folders and clicked on the ones that worked for me. In iStripper, all the folders are clicked ON. So I would need to go through all the scenes again and organize which ones I want on or off.

2) That affects this: I was saying the Full Screen option works better now. It does. However, that is when I go from the outside-in: I am playing a model and right-click and choose Full Screen.

But if I instead want to start at the Full Screen collection, to play, or organize it again to my liking... The iStripper Full Screen Collection/Directory is not user friendly at all.

Instead of like VG and just listing the names of the folders, and only having one scene option on display... iStripper stupidly opens them all up. I have a lot of scenes. So iStripper takes forever opening up each scene. It takes forever that way. Plus it slows down / makes playing Full Screen from there lag. Because it is using my computer's resources to display all the scenes. What a literal *****.

I will report this in the general "new istripper" thread.

Hi MikeDreams, there were some earlier bugs with use of these forums in iStripper. Some peeps reported not getting past the first page of some threads. Last time I was in there, it would not send PMs and one could not buy credits.
@Rex said they are looking at reworking to making download easier as a priority, but nothing about fullscreen, which leads me to think further fullscreen 'engine' development may be a whole project in itself.
I noticed that the models comments section was much narrower in iSt so wordwrap left a lot of white space between lines. However fullscreen image quality seemed a lot better and smoother running than VGHD , so I guess something was done to improve the player platform.
From scene makers perspective, the current iStripper release is not very FS author friendly because it will not group scenes by name, hence you can't quickly make a name group of try-out scenes and let them cycle play non-stop to compare different tweeks of the same scene. Also the way random works is a little too restrictive imo
Unlike VGHD Player, you cannot as easily make to cycle randomly:...

• one card ~ new random scenes from anywhere based on a selection
  
• one card ~ selected scene group headings only
  
• multiple cards ~ single scene
  
• multiple cards ~ same scene group
  

...and so on.:-/

For me so far the Full Screen has been working better on iStrip than it was on VG.

Before often when wanting to exit full screen, my computer would often freeze. That has not happened with iStrip. And the full screns seem to work even better.

Will this thread and the new background download threads be moving over to forum at iStripper? Or can you already access this the forum from the iStrip app itself? I will have to explore.
