Weeeee! Neither ridiculous fading censure, nor dull content. Made it to please the viewer. Too bad i'm not talking about VG, but the american competitor.

See you when the DeskBabes project is up, dear Totem fellows. I'm done with VG till you improve the customer experience both with the product and the treatment. ;)

I think calling "DeskDancer" a scam is going a bit far actually, since their content seems genuine enough. They just don't seem to be very honest with potential customers.

Apparently they charge annually for their complete content - which is fair enough, if not a particularly good business model. The problem is that they ask potential customers to provide their credit card details before telling them about the annual subscription or how much it costs. From reading another thread on this forum it apparently costs either $139 or $149 dollars per year, depending on who you believe.

Actually quite competitive when you think about it, for a year's subscription to content that is much more varied than vghd. I think the annual fee and the perception of dishonesty in the way they charge will do them no good whatsoever though.

Wonder if Totem came up with the Deskbabes idea before or after they heard that "DeskDancer" was coming and would be a potential rival?

@Oquijan - thanks for the info. 4 payments of $35 is a bit better, but the fact remains that it's not good to ask for credit card details before telling potential customers their subscription options. Subscription options should always be stated up front before asking for details. There's certainly no way I would provide credit card details before I knew exactly what I was signing up for.

I can't see them becoming anywhere near as popular as vghd unless they drastically change their business model.
