IMO -- The whole process of obtaining Special Event cards needs to be rethought. I don’t play games that tell me there aren’t enough cards to play for discounts or cards i.e. playing the slot machine. I’ve stopped purchasing daily cards in order to try and build up a reserve to try for the Special Event cards. I can’t even fathom the marketing approach to these cards, “Let’s punish the loyal members that buy almost every card.” WTF? I suggest management rethink the Special Event cards and their perceived value of preventing their purchase right away.

Ok so I will wait for winter, because I'm not gonna buy a card at 1:20am.

Cashback is the only sensible choice for a picky collector. I spent a lot of credits on the slot machiine just to get the joker cards which is great when I did win. But I lost a whole lot more credits trying to get a jackpot to which I still ***** myself for being so greedy.

I may be being too clever / devious here, but look at the picture of the award (posted by @wyldanimal). Two things stand out (no not THOSE two things) - the background is a *****leaf and the girl is Carolina Abril - and Carolina is Spanish and "Abril" is Spanish for April. Also, green-witch is another name for cannabis. So *****is the underlying cryptic clue.

And 4:20 is not just a time - it can also be 20th April which is (according to Wikipedia) "April 20 has become an international counterculture holiday, where people gather to celebrate and consume cannabis".

So - like the "May the 4th be with you", is it possible we can only win this achievement by purchasing on 20th April?

Exactly. That's why i don't even bother with them. It will probably cost over 200 credits that i could use to just buy over 15 cards at the normal price. And with cashback it would be over 20 cards.

If it is about April 20th, it must be that of next year because I did buy a card on April 20th (9 days ago) and that doesn't show in my achievements :)

I ***** random special event cards. Now if it's like in December where you buy whole month in advance - that's not random so I dont have an issue with it. But when it's just random chance that turns into a money pit, I end up getting de-incentivized in continuing to buy new cards all together. Because I throw so much money at one card I really want I dont have money to buy cards down the road for a bit

Yes, that's true. i didn't even realize this. It's says Greenwitch, not GMT, and there's one hour difference between. But asking to hit the exact :00 second it takes almost impossible precision and training, not to mention lag issues. I tried it today and i hit it at the :08 second. It should be between :00 and :59 seconds of that minute at that still undiscovered hour.

I bought a card at 4:20pm GMT today and didn't get the achievement for it. The time shown in the screenshot is Paris time.

You get only the badge if you are at 4:20pm personally in Greenwich and buy a card.

@duras Yes, and AM or PM... that's not given either.

Even more effective pro-tip

1) reload your credits with 20% bonus whenever they are available. DO NOT SPEND IT!!
2) wait for until cashback promotion is available (every 4-5 months). Meanwhile, whishlist all the cards you want

When cashback is up then,

3) buy 3 cards of your wishlist that are in the lowest tier price
4) buy the most expensive card of your whishlist, if none, then purchase 1 card of your whishlist that is in the top tier price. This card will be cashed back.
5) repeat step 3 and 4 until you are broke .😂

@pickle1 Thanks for the info on the "Outfit". So that is the 1st or 2nd most rare achievement so far.

I also commented on the "Lucky Bastard" above (0,36%). According to Wyldanimals' earlier post the 4:20 is 0,01 % at the moment. Will be a real hustle to get that one!

@ckvghduser - check your account history, it should show the proper buy four and get the fourth refunded pattern. If it doesn't then I suggest raising a ticket. Also remeber that you do not have to buy the four cards at the same time, or on the same day or during the same run of the app - perhaps you had three previous purchases made yesterday, if so you would have received a refund on your first purchase today and again on your fifth.

I just added the last profile Information I was missing...
I didn't see the Badge added till I quit and restarted iStripper.

On the other hand when I filled out my profile the badge turned up immediately without me having to do anything. However, the app does sometimes seem to miss updates to more important pieces of displayed data (such as your credit balance) even though the data has been properly updated on the servers so it is well worth trying a synchronise with servers or a stop and restart of the app.

I just purchased four cards, but my credit balance didn't stay the same after I purchased the fourth card. Isn't that the way it should have worked?

Never mind. I see that I buy four and get the fifth purchase free.
