I use a TN panel from Samsung, because it's 4k and I'm a cheapskate.

The 32" supports AMD Freesync (the PC has an AMD chipset) through Displayport and has a 1ms response time, so motion is well displayed and there's no ghosting. I had to calibrate the color settings, but it was so much better than my old monitor that I've never worried that VA or IPS might have been a better choice. It's not HDR, which I guess could be better. The viewing angle problem with TA doesn't apply, given that I work straight in front of it.

4k videos run through PowerDVD18 are better than iStripper, so I think that I'm currently limited by Totem's video player technology. PowerDVD has lots of settings tweaks, which allow me to optimise replay for the monitor. Maybe the colour would be better with VA or IPS, but I guess I'll never know....

I'm using a 42inch FullHD TV because i like the abillity to arrange several Windows on that Big Screen.And it's also pretty Handy for Videocutting, when you need to arrange bigger projects in your Timeline.But for a 42inch Display it should be better a 4K Resolution, specifically when you are sitting so closeto a FullHD Display with that Size.

Try to register again with your actual login&pwd. You find the button at the top of the setup tab of the software.
Then Synchronize with server.

I'm using a VA monitor because of the contrast (deep black is very nice) and the fidelity of the colors.

in the last years I have not used istripper. In the past I used virtuagirl and had about 50 shows. Virtuagirl was transfered to istripper some years ago. But now all my old setcards are lost at istripper.

Yes, that should do it - assuming that you are refering to the pos value for the sprite node for the background image, You may also want to adjust the positioning of the other elements in the scene which is easy enough to do for simple scenes but would be a bit of a ***** for more complex ones. For the complex cases you can introduce an extra node contruct that encloses everything within the camera node and use its pos to shift everything left or right,

You have to edit the scene's .scn file and change where things are placed. Just what is needed will vary from scene to scene.

Most scenes using a 3D camera should not need any adjustment as they normally establish the origin of the scene's coordinate system at the centre of the screen while those using a 2D camera have the origin in the top right corner of the screen.

I do not have a widescreen monitor, mine are all 16:9 though of different resolutions, so I can not test anything for you.

Do you use an IPS, TN, VA monitor... or do you use a TV?

For me most of the fullscreen scenes available are at a narrower resolution, since most fullscreen backgrounds does not work in ultra wide monitor.

iStripper fullscreen mode does not center the background if it's smaller than the monitor resolution, instead it pushes the fullscreen scene to the left of the screen, and I have a large black bar for 1/3 of the screen on the right side, it's really bad to be looking at this all the time. Does anyone else with ultrawide monitor experience this?

Does anyone know a way to fix this so the fullscreen mode is at least centered, or point me towards some ultra wide full screen custom scenes.

Unfortunately there is no Filter Option for the Price in the Store.

I have two Scripts that I used.
One Makes a backup of the Disabled Cards
and the other
restores from that backup all the disabled Cards

after the restore, you just rebuild your Collection.

I never worried about the Inactive Clips, as that wasn't something I did very often.

It would be easy to modify the scripts to work for the inactive clips.
Not sure the form will allow the Script code to be posted...
