@tretor - I believe I may have seen other posts that suggest that it is a synchronisation issue. Can I suggest you trying closing iStripper completely (from the taskbar), give it a few minutes, restart and then re-synchronise (go to the gear symbol top right, click on it then click on "synchronise with servers".

How can I see all my models on the mobile? I can see only 4 out of 48.

@sansanych75 - for a model to be visible on the mobile, the show has to go through a conversion process to turn it into a mobile show. As mobile has not been running for long, there are a lot of shows that need to be converted and this is being done at the rate currently of three per week.

So - the 4 shows you see are those from your collection that have been converted.

Don't be fooled, these games are surely not done in the favor of the user, everyone would be playing them otherwise. You must be lucky to get something worth your money. But gambling games are designed in the way only a few players are the lucky ones. The majority of them will lose in such games. So I fully understand OP with his comment.

As a new member, not me, but some of the comments, the 25 game is pretty close to even money. (from comments anyway)

if you "bet" 15 and win a card, that is a good deal for anyone "new" and you even get to choose the card. you can also win other stuff credits too. yes, you can lose, but most of the comments seem to show the credits, cards, etc, seem to be a wash or work in the favor of the user.

I am guessing totem opinion:
a person who pays 20 credits for a card but plays 25 and wins a free card is winning a discounted card. the sale is still made.

just my opinion. (most games are set up for newer members since they allow for "large" amount of purchases.)

Once people experience wireless, it's hard to go back to wired.

I think the big difference is resolution IMO. I would also say Wireless is possibly going to have a potential of a slight delay although I haven't looked enough in to it. Best thing is that you likely can get a Quest 2 from a normal retailer where you have the ability to return the headset if you don't like it.

That's true, but it doesn't include that Quest 2 can be used wired or wireless. Once people experience wireless, it's hard to go back to wired. Wireless also means it can be used anywhere. PC VR wireless at 90 hz can be done today using Virtual Desktop.

The Quest 2 seems to be the headset of choice right now with many VR YouTubers, the freedom of being wireless and the versatility is a big reason.

Another tip, don't hesitate to read the user manual include in the software. Just click on the "i" with a circle at the upper right of the GUI and you will learn a lot about the software.

When you buy a card you do not own the card. You have only purchased the "right" to play the card. Ownership of the card remains with Totem.

The point of the Winter Sale is like any other sale.

You get offered something you don't really need at a discounted price. It is up to you whether or not you wish to purchase. The fact that you have to play games to get a discount or possibly a free card is neither here nor there. The decision to play or not play is yours and no amount of semantics about the use of the word "sale" is going to change that.

Question about customizations. What exactly is the dimensions for the avatar??

There is nothing called "Logout" for the app, though there is for the web interface, instead it is called "Quit" and is available by right clicking on the systray icon. However, you do not need to explicitly logout to login to another account, just login to the new account and that account will be used automatically for any subsequent times that you run iStripper.

So I just got a new computer, and wanted to install Virtual Girl again, I installed it and everything, and was too fast with my fingers, so it logged in itself on my computer, on some random account it just created. Even though I have my own profile(the one I'm posting this thread with) My question is, how do I logout from Virtual Girl on my computer? And log in with my actual account. Thanks.

Select Login with another account - login with your correct information

Tracking is going to be a little more personal but I do know direct light is not a friend of the G2 so avoiding direct sunlight or open lamps is suggested. Quest 2 I haven't come across much on the tracking. One thing with the G2 though is that you can choose to migrate to another option for tracking long term if you wanted with Quest you are stuck with its tracking only.

Yes. That indicates that iStripper believes you need to download that card.

To which I would add that its belief is not always correct. I do not know the details but the system uses more than the presence of the actual clip files to determine if there is more to be downloaded (though any discrepancy should get automatically cleared up during program start). Also, though you may need to trigger a download to get the process to finish there may in fact be very little that is downloaded if you already have 99% of the clips.

Posting a screencap showing the contents of the card's model directory contents as @Dorsai6 suggests will help in diagnosing what is happening.

I've been running iStripper on a variety of Macs for 7 years. If you have any Mac specific questions, just ask. Unfortunately, I have very little experience with full screen scenes because I usually do other work will playing cards in the corner of my screen. For years, I've noticed performance problems with iStripper on my Macs. However, the latest version of iStripper (1.2.277) seems to have mitigated some of these problems. I'm currently running OSX 10.15.7 on a new iMac and a 2019 MacBook Pro.

i think yours is different possibly because of a newer computer and access to the latest apple updated platform.

Yes. That indicates that iStripper belives you need to download that card. Before you do, post a screenshot of the contents of the models folder for that card (a1312). Also post a screen shot of the contents of the data folder for the same card.

Do the following:

1. Be sure iStripper is not running

2. Examine the contents of the iStripper foldler in your root user folder (LONNIE). You should have only one folder there, the data folder. If you have a models folder
a. copy any folders in that folder that are not already in the models folder in your Virtua Girl folder on you external drive to that folder.
b. Move the models folder in you root user folder to the trash.
c. Empty the trash

3. Start iStripper

4. In the Data section of the Advanced settings click the trash icon nest to the path /Users/LONNIE/iStripper/models

This should remove the needed models folder safely.

Depending on what you screen shots show, you may not need to download your collection or you may only need to download part of it.

Maybe you are looking for this.
In your scene directory, there is Background 2D.
Hover your mouse over it and an adjustment wheel appears.
Click.
And then you can add any backdrops you like

I thought a scene was a background that one can choose when going full screen with a dancer.

That, almost, is what the simplest scenes provide - namely the 2D Backgrounds - and are like a simple desktop wallpaper except that they will block out your desktop. These and other simple scenes should not be a problem for any system made in the last 15 or more years

However some of the other scenes, particularly mine, can make very high demands on the GPU and other users have contributed scenes that use 4k images that may tax less capable machines.

Apparently these scenes require a lot of processing -- when I try to start one I sometimes just get a blank screen,
and my MacBook goes hard to work -- the fan goes full blast.

The Reason for this is that the Fullscreenmode is using your GPU and the Desktopmode your CPU.
So i guess your old Mac Book has no dedicated GPU ?

Running iStripper on some older Hardware is not always a good Idea :)
And the iStripper Client will get more and more Improvements in the Future.

Thanks for all your suggestions. I realize now that scenes aren't what I thought they were at all. I thought a scene was a background that one can choose when going full screen with a dancer. I finally -- for the first time -- actually mananged to play a scene. Apparently these scenes require a lot of processing -- when I try to start one I sometimes just get a blank screen, and my MacBook goes hard to work -- the fan goes full blast. When I get the black screen I've waited what seemed like a reasonable time for the scene to load but finally have given up. My poor little MacBook is getting on in years. (BTW, before you ask, it is maxed out on memory.)

Thanks to your advice I've browsed through the scene folders (including one of your that I downloaded) and have found some excellent images that I can set as a "Desktop Picture," as Apple calls them, and simply watch the dancer full sized against that screen. While it would be fun to run the scenes I'm pretty happy just to have some nice backgrounds for the dancers.

I truly appreciate all your generous advice and information, and the help of others who have responded to my original question.

Thanks for the answer/confirmation. I was 99.9% convinced you couldn't miss them but the mechanics of getting them after the 25th eluded my memory :)

but most of all I would like to get the dancer off the beach, which is the only scene I have, um, seen, so far.

If that is what you most want to do then simply use your system's file browser to move or copy your alternate images to the folder that currently contains the beach image. You don't even have to match their sizes to those already there, for 2D scenes they get scaled automatically.

It gets a bit more complicated if you want to position the girls differently the different backgrounds - but that is the next step along the way to creating your own scenes. From here on the best way to procede is by reading a some of the posts in the discussions thread and to download a selection of scenes from the Share Your Scenes thread which you can simply install and can also study. Obviously when creating your own scenes it is best to start with simple ones which can be made by modifying some of the simpler examples that can be downloaded.
