Version 2.7.4 is available

Changed since 2.7.3
Cage clip with the model entering or exiting the stage are now also supported
(They are part of the show Lena Love - 1273 - Take me)

Ahhhhghhh....I don't need VG weather girls...I've got good sources of weather I'm happy with. Don't want sports, tunes, etc.
Totem should use these "extras" to focus on what they do...provide sexy entertainment & get people to spend $$$ on VG DB.
Getting the "freeloaders" (no cards) to buy some cards would seem to be most important.
If the pop up girl could offer a "buy me for 1 credit by clicking on me here (or "clicking on my tits" even) action that would get the party started for newbies who are not yet willing to spend $$$ yet.Get really sexy girls/cards with Xplicit action (Natali Blond, Zara,Cindy Dollar style performances)so Newbie gets a WhamBangZinger right away & can be tempted to get more!
Newbies should maybe not be able to disable the pop ups (about 6 at least)UNTIL they buy at least one card.(perhaps the girl can have a board that says "Click on my tits & get me for 1 credit to make this pop up go away")Or maybe it can be clearly stated somewhere that the way to not have the pop up is to-"take advantage of our introductory offer".
Later on, after newbies have bought at least 1 (more?)cards the "pop up" girls" can come on maybe having suggestive things on their board...("Enjoying the way I wiggle? Let me show you more."-"I'm lonely here....take me home with you!" Model could look down & be surprised with a board that says-"Oooweee...do THAT with me!" Etc.)These would have to be able to be disabled as they are ads & cute 'tho they may be, can become tiresome over time.

Alarm can be a voice over...Imagine Jana Cova, Aletta Ocean,Ariel types popping up to say the message..."Hey sleepyhead...Wake up & shower with me.' or "Hey look at me now, you've got to go..(later you can come back & look at me & Cum)"
Well Totem can water that down as they do according to their "taste".

Keep them on topic, clever, & above all SEXY!
Don't waste resources on stuff we already have & don't really need.

In fact most of my captions, are plays on words with card names. Like Mirka's Hard Homework card or Andie's Army Fan.

Adding to the brainstorming... why not reintroduce the alarm function connecting the signs to Android and Iphone calendars via Google or Apple =)

I've been asking for the alarm back since VGHD was first released in 2007... I love that function in the classic version.

For the Next Version, we need a Button to Manually Activate the Last Informational Clip.

seeing it once, isn't enough, what if you missed it and want to play it again?

or you could select your favorite sports scores, and the Model pops up to announce the Scores on her card.

Or if you are Listening to Music, when a new song starts She Pops up to Display Song info. name of Song, Artist...

Girl Pops up, and Photo's from you selected Folder are displayed on her board. Click on the Girl and the full size Photo is opened.
then Next Girl, next Photo...


Totem will need to Film More Girls Holding these Cards, Maybe even a Little Dance across the Screen..

This is a bit off the topic as my posts pretty often tend to be, but... this weather app exists already on Windows _ Desktop gadgets _ Weather... so IF VGHD could run it in compatible mod, it would be possible. This way every member would see the weather of his/her own area reported by the desktop Girls...

Man, I'm going to like this idea!

A "weather" app would be awesome, although it could prove to be a daunting task for Totem, since members are from all around the world. They would have to program it to display the weather in specific areas. Great idea, though!
I wonder if they could do something entertaining that would not require global adjustments.
Anyhow, I am quite impressed with the new "information clips", and the possibilities for it's use are almost boundless. It should be interesting to see how Totem can put this to full use.
There are some very cool suggestions already!

@Jashoda: i agree with your point, that's why I've asked in the 'new ideas needed' thread and in a thread about WA's player that Totem build a clip based playlist manager instead of a card based one. Shouldn't be much work. Of course renaming the files would be great too, as would being able to filter on clip length and and and .. {blablabla etcetera}

I love the new Info-girls, it would be cool if they can have the day's weather/date or something like that on their sign. Then if someone accidentally opens VG on my computer I can just tell them "oh thats just my weather app."

I agree that it is not "adware", and if you don't want the "information clips" it is very easy to stop them from showing up on your desktop...as has been illustrated above by CyberVixen, and explained by Wyldanimal. The simple act of unchecking a box in adanced settings...pretty easy.
I decided to leave the information clips active for now out of curiousity, and I find the models providing information to be a cool way to see what's happening on Totem. I certainly don't mind a beautiful woman showing up with a sign. :)
