I posted this in another thread yesterday. It might help you :)...

As something along the same lines already exists, I thought I'd post this here. Bear with me, guys ...

A few days ago, my PC went awol and I couldn't get it to boot. This had something to do with Windows Update being ***** during a power glitch. Took me 2 days to finally fix it with more than 50 tries at System Restore and Restore Image. I finally got it to work, obviously and didn't cost me a centimo. Lost a few hairs tho :(

So the Disk Image that finally worked was from an auto update of the Disk images from July, this year. So, I lost quite a bit of info relating to what I had downloaded and installed during the past few months, including some of my favorites in IE11. Anyways, I got all that stuff back up to date and everything was cool. EXCEPT iStripper!

All of the demos were now showing from June/July and earlier. Nothing new. Hmmm. Why was that I asked myself? So I tried sync with server and got error reports on the download button. I was synced ok but new downloads wouldn't start. So, I re-installed the latest version again, 12138 and it was still the same no matter how many times I tried the same thing. l know. Crazy huh?

I took a deep breath and decided to wipe out ALL of the VG/iS software from my system EXCEPT the Models folder on my external drive. All gone :(

Now for the fun part and this never worked so well before, I swear...

I re-installed version 12138 and had to login as an existing member with my User/Password... Fine. Did that.

I had NO cards till I checked the advanced settings and RESET my external drive's location for the Model's path. I didn't need to rebuild anything or register again. ALL my cards just re-appeared in glorious colour.

Also, now the carousel is back up to date with no download error messages :)

I'm not trying to teach anybody anything here. I'm just illustrating the path I took to get everything back to normal. Maybe it'll help somebody else :)

11th November : Experiments with animated gifs.

On this day after Remembrance in Australia & also with Super Moon next Monday & Leonard Cohen's passing yesterday, I wanted to celebrate the work of one of our most inspiring visual artist members here on the iStripper forums @Lunarpup.
Lately I've been exploring with @Lunarpup, ways of making animated gifs work better with music as fullscreen backgrounds for our models.
By tweaking scenes into music effective moving backgrounds, we hope to preview here some of @Pup's recent work. It does not require any shaders to run. Unlike regular smaller size gif frames, Pup's new animated artwork is high quality 1920 x 1200 pixels per frame. It will be appearing progressively on his own website at http://www.lunarpup.com/animations/animations.html as the site undergoes further development by Pup. Keep an eye out at www.lunarpup.com for more great inspiring artwork to come. This includes folio grade HD jpg's ready for popping straight into your texture directories (in my case the location is..scenes/ET Scenes/ETImages/ ).
This scene uses the 23 frames of Pup's original animated gif AcidWow.gif incl. one juxtaposed repeat frame to make 24 progressive changes per 1.77 second cycle. We hope this movement, music & color will enhance the whole iStripper performance for you. It may also be a useful template (see .scn code //comments) for experience by members wanting to make their own iStripper fullscreen backgrounds from HD animated gifs such as these.

Members are welcome to reuse/share the work, provided that doing so is non commercial & distribution is limited to members in this forum. Zip size = 141 MB. Extract into your ..scenes/ folder. The extract to location is an icon called 'browse the directory..' on top left of iStripper's fullscreen page.

Edit: Note that http://www.lunarpup.com/erotica/vgirl/vgirl.html is non-commercial. It is NOT a Totemcash afilliate site, so no commissions are ever earned. Pup's work has always been purely his own cost and those who occasionally care to contribute. To me, it embodies Art for Love's sake. Bless your efforts Maestro-mentor & may they continue to inspire many :-)
