agree, I never see a small teen(+18), with a large head and doll like features with a bush. The reason being the bush would ruin the young "teen" appearance. Those who argue against that are oblivious. My best friend can't stand bush and admits it probably because he prefers younger looking girls. Not necessarily illegal age, but newly legal.

Okay so I have a second question...I remembered that I don't actually need 3K on my computer since my maximum resolution is 1080p so I replaced it with 1080p but it's still in the "NEW FORMAT"...is there anyway to get the previous format back so that I can have both formats of the same card?? (as a backup)

If you want to keep 1080p version, you must backup the card before updating to 3k. The update replaces the previous one, you can't have 2 versions at the same time.

Thank you for the upgrades. I got 4 upgraded to 3K and two to 1080p.

If I have a slower computer and I have to download new UHD cards just in 720p format, I still must pay the full UHD price. So, I find a consequent right thing that a owner of an old updated card gets the update for free. Please go on like so. Thanks for updates!

well, for now every upgrade has been free for members who have already bought the card.
I can't assure it will always be like this, but for now you've got the upper available definition as it, by a simple download.

I have definitely seen many of the same girls cards parade past my preview section several times in the past days. If I didn't buy them the first two or three times, then....?

I got 600 or so cards left before I can't get any more and would like to see some different ones pass through the preview section.

Recently it seems that Totem has been identifying users who buy the most complete sets in a month but I am not sure what the exact criteria are.

I have many of what I consider to be complete sets as they are all the girl's solo cards available but there are duo cards that have that girl in them which I don't have yet so I am thinking they don't count as complete sets as far as Totem are concerned.

However, I have many complete sets (including the duo cards) and have yet to get anything more than just that after I complete them.

I saw yow previous post about renaming so I was aware that it was possible, but it is not a good general solution. As I mentioned if you rename anything you need to track down anywhere that uses the name, such as playlists and backups, presumably your collection would be somewhat out of sync with what Totem thought it was. Introducing a level of indirection via a database avoids most, possible all, problems. There is an old programming aphorism along the line that you can solve any problem by introducing an extra level of indirection, except the problem of too many levels of indirection.

Indeed the xml file would be a suitable place to keep the clip characteristics. I personaly do not like the habit of using xml when much simpler file formats would do the job, but given that the file is already there and has to be processed (or a previously cached version of its data has to be used) whenever a card is accessed then it might be sensible to use it.

I understand that your resources are limited and this can't be a top priority. On the other hand I'm extremely grateful that you are continuing this effort. I've got nearly 300 720p cards that, based on the card number, are eligible for remastering. Many of them are from superb performers who I miss being able to play regularly. I haven't suggested priorities because any upgrades will be appreciated. However, it might make good business sense to start with the cards with the greatest number of sales.

I agree. This fondness for "smart" codes goes back at least to punch card days where data space was at a premium. It may well predate automation. In Totem's defense, since a card's staging can not be changes they may have seen no problem. As you and others have pointed out while the staging may not change our need to describe it has.

There is also a very human desire not to add new categories to a classification scheme when an existing category can be stretched to "fit". I've been guilty of this myself and often learned to regret it.

Totem already has an excellent vehicle for this -- the a9999.xml file in each card's data folder. This file already contains a great deal of descriptive information about each card. It would be easy to extend it to hold clip information including tags. Conceptually, easy but a considerable amount of programming and testing.

Be thankful all the cards that I would love to see re-release go way back, even back to Rebecca, through to Suzie Q.

No I know that the media that were shot with is that old (especially Rebecca) there is no chance for me.

Be extremely grateful for what you get and its for FREE, most other places would charge you again for downloading the upgraded cards

@Arseneo : there will be proportionnaly more 1080 than 720 cards to be upgraded for now (and keep in mind quite only half de 720 collection can be updated, due to the old format of the rushes). Hard to work on everything and to satisfy everyone at the same time...

I wrote this in another thread. You Can rename the Clips on your own.
The New Name will Affect how the GUI selects the Clip to be Played.
But changing an In/out clip to a table Clip, wont change how it Plays, only how it is Selected.

Since we know only the 3K in/out clips are the Ones with the Half Image.
you could write a bit of Code, to Locate all the exxxx 3K in/out clips and rename them.

this would then prevent them from being Selected as In/out clips.

you can do this for any .vghd clip in yur Collection. You can't do it for .demo clips.

I have long been of the opinion that Totem made a bit of a mistake when they decided to do this as it means that if this is the only source of the clip characteristics then if a clip needs to be recategorised then the clip's file needs to be renamed and any references to it by name (e.g. in playlists) also need to be tracked down and changed if they are to remain valid.

A better scheme, in my opinion, would have been to have a database of some kind which provided a way to look up the actual categories for each clip. At its simplest this could be one extra file per card containing one record per clip. With such a scheme translating from file names to clip characteristics would be done by via the database. This would allow categories to be changed or added without having to rename any files and this would allow the various meanings of "in out" to be disambiguated.

The space overhead should be small, one file per card, one record per clip comprising a file name and a 32 bit or 64 bit integer with the decoded clip categories. There would be a small time overhead, but this would be minimal if the file for a card was read just once when the card is first accessed.

I could envisage such a sceme being introduced incrementaly with the software decoding the file names directly if there was no clip categorisation file for a card. To avoid impacting existing scenes you would probably want to keep the current meaning for "inout" but add something "inoutentry" "inoutedge" just as we currently have "table", "fronttable" and "behindtable".

We have released a new version of iStripper and it comes with some useful features.

NEW FEATURES :

• One click purchase : Once activated, you'll see a "1-click purchase" button instead of the usual button. This function allows you to buy the show without clicking the confirmation window. You can enable/disable this feature in settings > controls
• Better "Featured" page synchronisation : Featured tab synchronizes and you don't need to do it by yourself anymore. Now you won't miss our weekends sales anymore.

BUG FIXES:

• Bug #1582: 11 previews instead of 7 previews.
• Bug #1627: Empty cards (Without clips) should be marked as "Not downloaded" when the user rebuilds all.
• Bug #1629: The notification should not be displayed if user is idle.

DISCOUNTED SHOWS IN PREVIEWS TAB

Last but not least this version includes the ability for us to discount pushed cards in previews. And the good news is that we want to test it badly :)! So, from now on and for at least a few days, 1 preview out of 3 will be discounted by -12%. This discount only applies to previews pushed by the software, not those you add manually.
