Maybe playing the card or at least some clips was required? I just stopped the card now and did the update once again and indeed, now the sticker is gone.

Are all the cards to come out these days (Crystal+) to be saturated, unbalanced in colors and barely regardable ?

Had that update sticker too, but now it's gone again.

This was a nice promotion - Liya Silver's new card "Let's Hit The Road" became card #4,000 in my collection, but there's something strange with it:

The card downloaded ok, but it already has the "UPDATE"-sticker on it right after download. When I update the card, the update downloads ok as well, without any errors but the UPDATE-sticker just won't leave.. not even after several updates.

I started the card with "Play all clips"-option and it has worked so far without issues. Maybe I just ignore the "UPDATE"-sticker for now...

Even if you can't see the discount, the price has changed and if you try to buy the show, the price will be instantly updated. You can try to re-synchornize the server too (in setting > advanced settings).

Yeah I can only echo what's been said. If a game like the slots was reliably profitable for us, everyone would just play until they had enough credits to buy everything. But they can sill be a good way to outright gamble on getting a lucky bonus (that is what it is, no questions) or to build collections at a discount if you just want more cards and aren't too picky which ones.

More concerning is when the stated terms of the gambling (the discount levels per bet) differ from what is happening with the actual machine.

As @TheEmu said, Totem uses the TGIF offers to increase their overall sales. However, some of their offers are a bargain for at least some customers. For example, they sometimes have a 4 for 3 sale. You can buy 3 cards of your choice and get a fourth card free. The preview often offers a discount price for a card, but only for a short time. These offers are like a lot of sales, they offer a bargain to get you to visit regularly in the hope that you will buy more than just the bargain. Like any shopper you need to be carful about buying something you don't need just because it is on sale.

Yes, of course that is what they did and the same is true of all of the other TGIF special offers. Totem is a business and as such the special offers are primarily ways of making extra profit, not ways to give things to customers.

Since you quoted what I written I will try to answer some of what I was seemingly being cryptic about.

The clip 'one free ride' which you asking about has not yet been released. I had only named that card because another forum user had asked, perhaps in jest, which one The Red Fox's soon to be released next set of shows will be a 'special event' card. These 'special event' cards cannot be purchased from the store in the normal way, but can only be obtained by jumping through some hoops that the company sets up. Completing these tasks gains the participant the offered 'special event' card. It is also possible to win these cards in the TGIF gam of chance.

There is a thread in the 'Platinum' section of the forums that users post images of the girls soon to be appearing. The creator of that thread placed it in that section for reasons of her own.

The link in the post above this goes to a good source for upcoming card images.

There is a folder buried in the software that contains the names of all the that have been produced and will soon be produced. That is where I found the names of the cards that I named. I am also being as straight-forward as this girl can be.

It's okay to be a 'noob' and ask 'nooby quesions'. We were all noobs at one time, and in some ways many of us are still quite nooby.

Go the website on the bottom if you want to see upcoming cards. It isn't as useful as it used to be because they are behind on their processing. You use to be a able to see a preview dance and all of the pics up to a month before the cards came out.

Are you saying the clip I am asking about "one free ride" has not been released yet and I cant view the preview section because I am not high enough level? Yes, I have some of her clips (they are great, esp the new VR clip). But that still didnt answer my question about the "one free ride" clip. You have to buy all of the girls in the slot machine window to get that discount. There is a buy button on the slot machine itself, lower left corner, if I am not mistaken, which has to be used to complete the slot machine transaction.

edit: I just had my first fullscreen freeze in the 1.2.228 version btw..
Had to resort to task manager in order to ***** vgh.exe which was stuck at twice the size as normal
in memory. (around 500 MB). Yikes !
