I have a Acer Laptop using vista home basic what can I do to get new skins for my vghd setup?

You can do a search in the main forum for skins this will result in several threads.

The skins are created by members of this Forum. Any problems you may encounter by using a custom skin can only be addressed by the users of this board, not by Totem. Generally you should not have any issues. Use at your own risk.

If I may suggest, avoid them for now. Totem is about to release a new version of the VGHD software that will most likely render any existing skins pretty much unusable. Sometimes skins get released for beta versions of the software as well, but why bother when a new version is right around the corner that will probably render those obsolete as well?

Just to add, that was NOT a dig at any skin creators. These guys put a pretty good amount of time into them and they deserve their credit. I'm just cautioning that any existing skins are about to be rendered unusable very soon.

The skins will need to be tweaked for the new version once it has been released just like it needed some when version 27 came out. Have you tried the skins with the beta version of 29? If you haven't then it is wrong to assume that the skins will be unusable.

It will most definitely have to be fixed. The "Coming Soon" tab has totally changed. Version 1.0.2.30 is now whats in testing and most likely be the version released. Its right around the corner. It will be a ***** update since they have revamped the whole calendar system and I am sure they will want everyone using the new calendar.

No, I haven't even installed the beta 29 software due to the current issues with it. In this particular case, though, I haven't really assumed anything. The skins won't be compatible simply because of the change in the interface layout (to accommodate the new calendar system) and because of the way the program uses pictures to build the interface.

I will retract my use of the word "unusable" though. It'll probably be usable, just not necessarily fully functional.

hello, i made some skin, but i must wait the official link for change all my skin before place it on my site. for the moment i stay with the version 1.0.2.27 who is the last official version of the program VGHD.

when totem finish the version 1.0.2.30 or more then i update. then of course when the new program is ready you must use the official skin proposed by totem, the time of we change and update all your skin.
