On the web site, I have found twelve cards that have moving animations.
Check out the wide screen shot to see the twelve. The one in upper left is most recent; the one in lower right is oldest.

The cards are as follows, in chronological order by date uploaded to the web site, most recent first:
515 Ariel Sexy Rodeo
535 Shabba Happy Ship
539 Jennifer Max Italian Pub
555 Jenni Gregg Agent 69
528 Alexandra Sex Trip
509 Nadine Sexy Socialite
520 Trisha Black Pearl Bar
548 Susan Snack Time
493 Natali Blond Indy 500
467 Krystel Guava Drink
545 Tarra White Emergency Room
523 Diana Doll Black Moon

Are these ALL of the cards in the new format? I found that the six most recent cards uploaded do not have moving animations.
The twelve here are the only ones, unless I missed something old.

I believe that the following cards (listed above) are the old format.

535 Shabba
548 Susan
493 Natali Blond
467 Krystel
545 Tara White
523 Diana Doll

I don't think Totem have stated.

I agree, it shouldn't take more than 2 seconds to respond with a yes or a no, unless they are hiding something again.

Guys two things:

1) Its Sunday AM in Paris at the moment.
2) Totem staff have other things to do during the work week than spend their whole day browsing these topic pages just in case someone posts a question or comment that they should answer.

The question was posted by JonC late on Friday evening. The Totem staff had started their weekend.

bobblegg & Pianogrinder, you have both been around long enough to know better than to try and expect answers within a day or two and never over a weekend.

It doesn't make either of you look good, especially with comments about hiding something because on not replying immediately, especially on the weekend

@pionagrinder,

Your point? I am merely a mod, doing what a moderator does & when I see someone (I don't care who) accusing Totem of hiding something because they have not responded within two days and over a weekend at that, then I will bit.

You have been here long enough to know Totem's hours and given your time zone proximity, you do not even have bobblegg's excuse.

If you were attempting to be "funny" then your humour fell flat.

Please some respect.

@Pianogrinder,

Guess what, even moderator's are allowed opinions. I do not use my weight as a moderator to shut down or close a topic or an individual unless they step outside the rules.

I will however use my position as a mod to coreect someone's statements if I believe that they are incorrect or misleading.

If you have specific instances that you wish to dispute with me fine, you know how to find me, but the appropriate place is not here.

And in this specific instance your comment about Totem hiding something was indeed outside the rules and could be deemed to be insulting & ***** given the time frame you have given Totem to respond. You know their hours of business as well as anyone else and to delibreately comment that because they have not responded (well outside business hours) is misleading in the extreme, hence my first post in this topic.

@Cartref: We really need to find a way, where we can be sure that Questions to Totem will be answered.
Maybe a seperate section so they don't have to browse through the whole forum. But that question here or similar ones have been asked in many threads before. In the whats new threads you can find them regularly.
But i still haven't seen an answer to this in any thread.
Isn't there a way that you or the other mods can point out questions to Totem crew that arise that often that they really deserves an answer?
I alway thought of the mods here as a kind of interface between the users and Totem. (I come from software development so excuse the term interface please) So it would be up to you and the other mods to tell them if something goes wrong here.
I'm just feeling power- and ***** seeing all these unanswered questions here. Its like wanting answers from a wall. And that truely frustrates me.

@Starryk,

I will take your comment onboard and pass it to Totem via another channel.

Belive me when I say I DO appreciate your and other's frustration when your posts/questions seem to be ignored.

I do know that when some (generally speaking) of them are aimed at specific areas of Totem ie bug fixes, that the particular team member may be under preasure and has no time to read the topics. In such a case I or one of the other mods will escalate.

In other cases it is really something that TotemRex must read and address and like all us mere mortals, he has only so many hours a day.

As I said, I will bring this up, but patience is required by all. The total number of posts here on a daily basis can easily overwhelm any one individual. I know I have the opportunity at the moment to check throughout the day & I can still miss things, as those "explicit avatars" have demonstrated. :)

@Cartref; Thanks for that.
If your on it you can ask them about the beta test card;-)
With the downloaded view in the collection we got a chance to ignore it better. But it still bugs me somehow. I didn't thought it was permanent when i installed it. Otherwise i wouldn't have done it.
Thanks again!

About finding out if a clip is new format.. the new format needs more size You can see the MB-Size written along with the length on the show overview page. Compare that to an old clip with a similar size:
Example for Suzie Q's new card:
This is the info for 'No Gravity'
Over 32 mn of show (20 clips) - Size: 259 MB
and for 'Wild Dance its this:
Over 27 mn of show (18 clips) - Size: 319 MB
I think that speaks for itself.

We're working on a new version of the website so we had to put on hold small modification like displaying if the clips are in the old or new format. IT'll be all included in the new website. And no, I don't ahve a date yet... ;)

Thanks TotemRex. Until then i don't think it will cost much time to write it in the Whats new section when announcing new shows if they are old or new format.

I'm happy that i found a way to find out if a clip is old or new format.
Just wondering why Totem releases shows in old format like Shabbas ,when thinking about reprocessing old card. Thats more cards to reprocess later.

@cartref: I was not implying TOTEM is hiding anything. I never even thought about it being the weekend at all or what time it is in Paris. I have seen this question posted previously here, quite a bit actually regarding quite a few different shows, & never saw an answer.

It also seems like there are a lot of questions being asked lately that we don't get answers to...one of which is why is the model overview no longer/not all of them animated?

Lots of people have questioned why their shows of the new cards aren't working, & come to find out they did not know that they needed to have the newest version of VGHD (27) installed to run those shows. That information should have been posted on the card info page so that people knew it before buying that particular show, but it was not. Would have saved a lot of grief to the customers.

Some cards are in newer format for animation files. The newest uploaded cards?

Some cards have moving animations for the web site pages. I only found twelve.

Any idea why these two new things do not affect all new cards?
Totem is busy figuring a new version of the software and TotemRex24 mentioned about a new version of the web site.

That sounds nice. But it also means that this request will be on the 'backburner' for a while, hopefully not forgotten.

I can wait patiently for Totem. But does anyone here have a rational explanation?

@JonC001:

For the stopping of animated previews i thought of 2 things.
It could be a bandwidth issue. (Taking longer to load the pages)
or the new website design Rex talks about will use that for all shows so that there's unity for the show overview and therefor they stopped new animated previews until the new website design.
Both are guesses at best. Rex is not a man of many words.:-) He didn't answer your question just stated that the new design will answer it then. Luckyly i found those size difference that helped me to figure it out myself.

Why they still release new shows in old format puzzles me also since that more reprocessing later, but maybe that a 'no time at the moment' reason. They had already processed the show in old format and got no time to reprocess them.

The artist doing the animated previews is traveling right now so we had to release a few of them non animated. Having to download the new version to play clips in the new format has been on the home page for two weeks and is poping as a tip if you download a clip in the new format using an older version of VirtuaGirl. Adding that information to the page of the model could help a bit too you're right.

Ok everyone,

Here's your answer to which cards are in the new format. I work in QA to test the cards. There is a feature that Totem has provided us testers that reveals whether the card is in the new format or not.

There are 11 cards in the new format that have been released so far:

520 Trisha / Black Pearl Bar
509 Nadine / Sexy Socialite
528 Alexandra / Sex Trip
555 Jenni Gregg / Agent 69
515 Ariel / Sexy Rodeo
539 Jennifer Max / Italian Pub
542 Tarra White / Lap Dance
564 Jana Cova / Lust
498 Suzie Q / Wild Dance
557 Jenni Gregg / Pure Bliss
567 Morgane / Love Cruise

The first post in this topic specifies the twelve cards that have animated overviews.
(hopefully, they will do other recent ones)

@eggerty,

Unfortunately the answer is no. A few of us have been after Totem to build & implement a feature like this as they did have something along these lines in VG2, but unfortunately no joy so far.

The issue of reprocessed cards is separate from this topic as the cards listed here were originally released in the new format.

Check this and related topic for info on reprocessed cards:

http://www74.virtuagirlhd.com/us/forum_post.php?foId=4&ftId=12395

These cards were originally in the old format and have since been reprocessed in the new format...

Took me a while to figure out but I think the new player and new VG site will be Virtuagirl, (updated from VirtuagirlHD) I could be wrong, but that's what it looks like when I looked at the beta snapshots. Is there going to be a new format where the upcoming shows are filmed and processed differently?
