The ratings system is garbage and should be removed as it unfairly punishes certain models / cards. Been saying this for years as its mainly due to ridiculous reasons and nothing is done. The reviews / comments does the job of telling us whats good or bad about a card on their own with the need for the rating. Ignore the rating!! If you like the card and the comments say its good, buy it. I have lots of poorly rated cards that I think are excellent and love them.

If you click on a card in the Girls Store, a window opens or you get to the detail page.
The "Get Her Nude" field appears there.

If you have not activated "one click purchase", a notification screen will appear on which you can still decide whether you want to buy this card or not.

However, if the "one click purchase" option is activated, this information screen is not displayed and the card is purchased.

How one click purchase work??

What I assumed was a zero possibility 3 weeks ago is now a maybe. I might go ahead and get the the advent calendar as so far there are no shows that I would not want to buy eventually in the calendar. And if I do it would probably make sense to go ahead with the 4K subscription as well for the 20% off. But I'm looking to clarify the offers.

Is Ellie Leen's Sex with a playmate the 1st card in the calendar - it's dated 12/2?

Would the premium 20% discount apply to the whole calendar even though most of those shows will be more than 10 days old on Dec 24?

I think I remember that you got a joker card if you purchased the subscription; I'm pretty sure that was limited time only and now you get 50 bonus credits but no longer a joker card? Is that correct or do you still get a joker card as well?

The rating system only makes me shake my head with most ratings, pretty useless for me and certainly no decision-making aid, just shrugging my shoulders. Do not misunderstand, there are of course very well written reviews, which are a little helpful.
But also e.g. these 0 point ratings if someone had download problems, was not lucky with the game or 1 clip is faulty which will be corrected later ... Facepalm. 😖

The number of comments has nothing to do with the number of ratings. You can rate a card at any time without being ***** to comment. I never wrote one because I'm too stupid for that ... 😆

Anyway, ratings cannot be very helpful for everyone to make his own choices because everyone taste is different from the others (at least the "average" of all others' tastes). Don't know if my statement is clear... 😲

I rated all my cards, but commented very very few.
Earlier there was an option to sort by Your own rating, hoping it comes back sometime.

Moreover, as some Team member confirmed, people tend to give as votes only 0 stars (!) and 5 stars. So, the rating system looks to be totally unreliable. Specially during preorder offers as Advent calendar, since not so few people uses to rate 0 stars the offered card(s) they wouldn't have bought.

Yeah this becomes a problem sometimes when deciding what cards to buy. Like it would be easier to know why a card gets rated poorly or exceptionally. Sometimes I buy a card and I'm not sure why it gets lower ratings than others.

For example, there are cards that have been rated low this past month and I have to assume its because of the advent calendar so people are getting cards that they dont want but is sort of mixing whether a consumer should buy a card.

Its not an easy fix.

yes, I am afraid it is true. At least we now are given the total number of votes, until quite recently we did not have that and had to speculate as to why the average rating was so different from that we could see from the visible votes accompanying the comments,

BUT I can only count 37 comments with a Star Rating. One doesn't have a Star rating, another is 4.5 stars and one is 2 Stars...
All other35 votes are 5 star votes and I don't understand where the 4.66 rating or 403 Votes come from...

Yes. scale : -1, 1 is what we do now, but it would be in a more convenient position especially if you are using the same clip several times in a scene (which I have often done). Its advantage over *****: true is that it is a more general mechanism that can potentially be used for other purposes. I always prefer general solutions to specific fixes unless they are significantly more complex to use.

"*****: true" is kinda what i meant for newly created scenes and it not being present in older scenes would make them behave as they do now. Isn't "scale: -1, 1" what we already do though, just in a framebuffer rather than the clip define.

Last time i asked about the problem i was told it was because of "illogical lighting" which i thought was funny. Where the lights are coming from is far less noticable than writing being backwards.

Rebuild Collection Takes an Inventory of every clip in your collection
and stores this inventory list in the Models.lst file

If you have your Models Folder White listed from your Security software
4500 cards takes about 3 minutes or less

if you DO NOT have your Models folder white listed from your security software
it can take a Long long time.

because each time iStripper looks at a clip, so too, you security software will also look at it.
And your Security software adds a lot of delay to each and ever clip looked at.

15 minutes or longer would not be unusual.

Yes, I agree that the product (both as beauty/ability of models hired and as video quality) has been very much improved in last times. I am very happy too about that.

@z22 - I would do it slightly differently. rather than "add a new flag to the .scn" I think I would do it a a slightly lower level, namely as an attribute of a Clip so that you can control each individually - this in its simplest form would be something like

although I think I would prefer to have it a little more general

thanks for explaining how that was done. I would like to try do this myself but i have some questions though,
1. What is the significance of the number 1056301 you chose to use when renaming the file name to e0102_1056301.vghd, is this what dictates the type of clip ie top, cage, table etc. if so do you have a list of which numbers mean what?
2. presumably you have to do this for each card one by one manually for every card for which you want to use the transition clips.
3. I would only want to use the hanging clips in fullscreen are these always listed as it05 so that i can be sure i always pick the right file?
4. if i was only changing 1 file (the it05 ones) in say the entire 3K and 4K collections how long do you think the rebuild of my collection would take.

Here's one I prepared earlier.
To do this I made a copy of the transition clip and renamed the copy so it appears to be a standard clip type. After running “Rebuild collection” the new clip is available to use.

For example, the Sharon Lee clip in the attached screenshot is a copy of "e0102_it05_38912301.vghd".
Using file explorer I did a copy and paste (in the same directory) giving me "e0102_it05_38912301 - Copy.vghd".

I renamed the copy to "e0102_1056301.vghd", after a rebuild of my collection this shows as “Top of Screen with Accessories”. I chose this clip type because at the time (April 2015) I did not have any swing clips with accessories in my collection.

I have also used the “it01” clips (girls walking around looking bored) in some fullscreen scenes. I renamed these to be Cage clips because there are no Cage clips in any of the E series cards.
For Sharron Lee’s card I renamed “e0102_it01_38912301 - Copy.vghd” to “e0102_512301.vghd”.

Don't forget, You must "Rebuild Collection" after creating the new clips.

Simple solution for legacy support of the older scenes ... ish. Add a new flag to the .scn to use the corrected version, if the flag isn't present it works as it does now. So the legacy scenes would still work as intended without modification.

I'm not holding my breath for any improvements to the fullscreen, they still have bugs in the main software we reported years ago and they are far more important. I think we have more chance of someone making a seperate player with it's own fullscreen scene support.

@Slayer888 Hello. If you buy the calender, all cards till Xmas are already yours a day in advance, which means that you just have to download them - so that both demos and full animations will be delivered to you at same time.

So if u buy the calender each of the girls are only demo and not the full show amd you have to buy each girl sapaply? Or you see the demo and have to download the girls??

There are scenes where it is important that no flipping is performed - e.g. where inout clips are used to have the girls enter or exit through a doorway situated towards one side of the screen. If, as you suggest, Totem were to ***** the clips then these scenes would not work. These could usually be reworked easily enough, but in some cases the nested dependancies can be quite complex as can the relationships between the clip orientations and animate: clauses moving them, the camera, or other objects about in the scene. There is no simple answer that would fit all cases.

Yes, the two greatest bugbears for peeps learning to code .scn files have been:
1. left-right mirroring of clipsprites
2. Y axis inversion of textures (image files) when they are used with frag shaders

I've long thought that Totem would eventually upgrade their fullscreen platform
to give us more channels for sound and movie files, a la shadertoy.com 's webGL
however with the cashflow imperatives directing all effort to money spinning
ventures ONLY, it is hard to see that changing soon.

I am just glad that the screensaver (as an 'off the shelf' ) platform was incorporated
in the original design of Virtuagirl in the first place. Kudos to Lezardo, StarryK
Wyldanimal, TheEmu and others for making it at least understandable & workable.

Fixing the original problem would create a bigger problem than just leaving it as it is. There are times when it is preferable to stick with an established sub-optimal behaviour rather than change it to be more "correct".

Yes It would take an update and probably a re-install and re-downloads. I see your point I mean some of you have like hundreds of girls and shows downloaded and yeah I get it, downloading everything all over again could take ages. I only have 15 shows only lol

Yes the change in the code provided is easy enough, but doing it for every scenes is a bit frustrating and it's just not worth my time. The real question is that how come the devs have not found a solution for it for over a decade. Curious.

My Bad, I misread the Title...

My Clip Player can not be used with FullScreen Scenes..
Not Since a couple years ago...
The Control to Start a Full Screen Screen with a Clip Name Pushed to it
has been non-Functional for a few years.


You would have to Create a playlist .vpl file with IT clips in it.
And Currently, you have to use a 3rd party app to do that.


Then Insert that Playlist into the Next list on the Now Playing Tab.
Then Start Full Screen, so it uses the Playlist.

I've been able to insert the IT clip into the next....but I have not been able to get it to play in the FS scene. There is a slight delay and it moves onto another clip. I wonder if there is an input in the .scn that is needed to play IT clips...they do not belong in any of the other categories such as standing, pole, table...etc....

@Wyldanimal Thank you for the clarification...So If I selcet the second option for delete p2p previews etc...Will all of my previews then be deleted? I kind of rely on those to make clip decisions.

Since we're talking about 3rd party app, is there a way to remotely ***** a playing clip and to go to next clip in the playlist? Some wildcard character we could push instead of a clip filename? Something that would do the same effect as the 'Next model' in the contextual menu.

What is the P2P feature.

All members who have Preview clips can be part of the Peer to Peer file sharing network.
The More members who participate
the faster the Free Previews can be shared among all of the Participants.

The Speed Limit slider is, How Much Bandwidth you are going to Share to Others.
It has NO effect on your own Download Speed.

If P2P is ON
then Any Card you have, that has Preview clips, are made available to the Peer Network to Share to Others.
You are then Part of the Sharing Network.
All or Part of your clips ( Previews only ) will be shared to others.

Also, Any Preview clips you Download will then also come from the Peer Network.

If P2P is OFF
You will only be using the iStripper Servers to Download cards.
You Might have restrictions on downloading Previews, if you Haven't made a purchase from iStripper.

Only Members who have Purchased from iStripper will have unlimited Downloads from the iStripper Servers.
and are allowed to Turn off P2P

Free members, who have not Purchased from iStripper use P2P for their Free Previews.
if a Free Member turns P2P off, they might no longer be able to download the Previews after reaching a limit.

Have you enabled all the categories in the setup tab of the GUI to see and play the shows from Your Collection tab ?

Never use P2P to Download a Purchased Card.

Always Turn of P2P, when you are downloading a Bought Card.

P2P is ONLY for Free Previews.
when you are done downloading your Purchased cards,
turn P2P back on for the free Previews again.

I've had P2P from 300kb/s up to 1.5mb/sec
But with regular Speed it goes to Max Download Speed, (Around 5 MB/S)
So it's better when it's set to normal, but I wishy there was a Download Speed Limit selector...
So I couyld max out mine at around 4.5 - 3.5 mb/s and not have to use all my bandwith there...
P2P does vary depending on the user/s you're downloading from, I do recommend turning off the P2P, or at least setting it to the highest value.

I was used to paying $1 a card then Totem switched to the new creditsYes. Long ago. Many years ago you could get the cards for 1€ per card, but that required a monthly subscription.Totem didn't shut down the subscriptions.they did stop selling new ones.As long as your Subscription payment renewed, your subscription continued.when I joined was 2€ each now they are 2.50€Yes, that was 10 or 11 years ago, single cards were 2 credits each, and a credit, when bought in bulk, was about $1 per credit.But at the time that the credit system changed to 1 credit = 10 credits.the single card price was 2.5 credits. Single cards price is now 25 credits. So the 10x credit change did not affect card prices.as stated above, the cards had a 25% price increase in the last 11 years.and No increase in at least the last 8 years.

Damn, i miss that old system. I was a collector at that time, too. In my mind i had 1 €=1 Credit, a card catched on disount for 1, regular for 2.

When the credit system came up, i couldnt get rid of that in my mind, even if i knew it was wrong, it felt like a card is now 25€ by costing of 25 Credit.
It also felt like loosing the easy overview, by calculating each time of the credit to money, including the disounts and %, how much a card is now for real.

That was the time i stopped collecting, not on purpose, it just lost its attraction to me.


But i still miss it sometimes. I still have my playlist of all cards of my favorite 10 girls running.
I also think of remembering the quantity gone up. Possible it was one card each Friday(?) where you were looking forward to during the week, and then it got serveral releases each day? Not sure, was 7 years ago :D
